Although these shoes are stylish, they lack cushion and support. When I tried them on and wore them around my home, they felt great. However, on my recent 10-day trip to Europe, I found out that these shoes did not have enough support and cushion. My feet and legs felt the pavement and museum floors on every step and ached during the whole trip. These shoes could be okay for short periods but not for walking around all day long. I cannot recommend them if you plan on being on your feet for more than 1 hour.

This is a beautiful shoe. It is true to size and comfortable. I would highly recommend this shoe.

These work great with my 1/2 orthotic inserts and look a lot cuter on than in the picture. Very comfortable, as has been the case with all my Aetrex shoes so far. I sometimes need wide width shoes, but these were fine in M.

I love this shoe! I bought it to take on a vacation where I knew we'd be walking a lot each day. I needed a wide shoe that wasn't so wide it was sloppy on my foot. This foot is so comfortable. I walked for 2 weeks on vacation and never had any foot pain. Love it! I may buy another pair just to have on hand when the first pair wears out. Aetrex brand is designed by a foot doctor I believe and I think that may be why it fits so well. My only issue with this shoe which is a minor complaint; the sole squeaks when I walk on hardwood floors. (I didn't hear anything when I wore it on vacation.) Everyone's feet are different, but this shoe is one of the most comfortable I have ever worn.

Not very attractive in the hand. The heel is more of a wedge sole and the shiny trim looks cheap. Runs at least a half size small. The ties are difficult to tie.

Ordered 1/2 size larger than normal to allow for socks and toe room, worked great. Very hard to find sneakers that are black with black soles. I love the Aetrex brand.

I currently own a pair of Aetrex shoes in a 9W, and they are very comfortable on my problem feet with bunions. Unfortunately, that style is no longer available. I tried the Holly in 9W, but the toe is more pointed - crowds my toes. There was a piece of hard plastic nylon thread poking through the back of the shoe, at the top - it was painful (but probably a flaw in just this one shoe). I am sorry that this style did not work.

These are beautiful shoes, but I was hoping for shoes that I could walk in all day while traveling. For me the heel was a bit too high and the heel itself was too narrow. This made walking a little wobbly for me. That is not what I need so will return them.

I love Aetrex shoes but these did not work for me. They are much too narrow for my feet and too long in the forefoot. Aetrex sandals size 7 fit me perfectly but these 7.5 are very long. They are much cuter than the photos and I am so disappointed that they didn't work as it is so hard to find cute but comfortable shoes when you have bad feet. Just like all my Aetrex shoes, these have excellent arch support.

The reviewer that said these are not adequate for a long day of sightseeing was absolutely right. They are extremely lightweight, which is nice, but the soles are very flexible and so you feel everything you step on. Might as well be barefoot. However, they are very attractive and make my wide feet look slim, so, for that they're keepers! I will wear them shopping and around town, but not on cobblestones! I have no idea why they called these orthotic shoes. They are not. Also, they are a little hard to lace up as the shoelaces are very thin and lace up through little slits. Very difficult to snug them up.
