Good for my duck feet, nice and wide in toe box. Heel does not slip around in shoe. Good cushion for metatarsal region, and low heel keeps metatarsal pressure low. Slick bottom, but it does not matter. Have been wearing them on snowy and icy sidewalks and intersections with great success. This is due to the large flat surface in contact with the snow, plus the sole's being soft. That keeps the boot from getting stiff in the cold, and your foot can mold to the surface on which you walk. Slight cutout on back heel edge enables an easy heel contact with ground. Warm enough down in the teens above zero, add a sock and you can go lower. Collar does not rub the ankle. Removable insole, so you can put in orthotics if you wish. No arch support, which I like. Have not gotten wet inside yet, but haven't walked in heavy rain or deep snow with them. Homely as hell, but who cares? They are comfortable.

Got the black chukka for my husband and he loves them. He said these shoes may be the most comfortable he has ever worn. Ended up with a full size smaller than his usual size - and it was worth it - the fit and comfort are awesome. The shoe is lightweight and practical too - not the most stylish but plain enough. Love Zappos!

Super comfortable, like wearing slippers. I wear them to work. My wife thinks they are somewhat ugly, but understands the comfort they provide makes them wearable. I love the feel of these shoes. The style is ok, but the comfort is worth it.

Great jeans. These are more of a slim fit compared to most skinny jeans that are tight, tight, tight. I love that! Very flattering, very comfortable. Mid rise is great because you never have to worry what is showing when you bend over either! I am 6'6"; 125 lbs and ordered the 4. Maybe could have gone with a 2 but I love how they are a slim cut but a little bit loose through the legs.

My hubby loves these for a less "workboot" type of winter boot. Can wear with slacks or jeans, looks great either way.

Got these for Christmas from my wife. The most comfortable shoe I think I have ever owned. Very lightweight and feels great on. Will buy another pair when these wear out for sure.

Great shoes, bought them for a gift for my brother and he loved them. He is a big Patagonia fan, and has owned many pairs of their footwear in the past. I had to exchange for the right size but that was my fault.

Wow! These chukkas are feather light. I bought a 1/2 size up (12) so I could wear heavier socks. Worked out just right. I was looking for a winter boot for Kansas City where it doesn't get real cold or snowy and these fit the bill. Really comfortable and easy on and off with a nice, soft ankle treatment, Patagonia comes through again.

Most comfortable shoe ever! I have a hard time finding shoes that feel good all day. I don't have toes that taper like other people. I am on my feet at work a lot as I teach and this shoe is like walking on a cloud all day. It has a roomy almost square toe that feels wonderful. I wear a 9.5 or 10 in Patagonia and in the chukka I wear a 9.5 very comfortably. I love this shoe. Buy it, you won't be sorry!

Very comfortable shoe, almost slipper like but with a substantial sole. Very lightweight, will be perfect for after ski relaxing at the pub! Love the bungee lacing system, very easy on and off and flexible. I think the shoe is very stylish and the leather is very soft. If you're looking for a nice shoe to chill in, this is it.

My husband said it was too loose in the heel and didn't like how wide it was in the front.

So far so good. These are really comfy, almost slipper-like, and the laces are just elastic bands. That said, their lightness almost makes them more like slippers than shoes. They are easily bendable, and the upper is not very supportive, think boat shoes. The sole is good, the quality seems good, but I can see some people becoming disappointed spending this money for 'flimsy' shoes
