Comfort AND Style at last! And best of all a flat I can wear and doesn't slide off the back of my narrow heel. I have a normal to semi-wide foot but narrow heel and have a difficult time finding flats that fit and when I do, even if they're high-end, they're not always comfortable for my middle age feet. I love these so much I think I'll order another color.

This shoe looked terrible after only a couple of weeks wearing. There is no side support, thus the leather on the sides touch the ground. This left the leather on the bottom of the sides looking worn and faded. I will not get another shoe that has little sole again for this reason. I will look for more side support. Perhaps leather sole would be better.

So soft, very high quality shoe. I wish these had worked out. Too narrow across the ball of the foot and in the toebox (toes were squished). The big toe is forced to curve inward with these shoes, and that is uncomfortable and bad for your feet. Heel cup was also too curved. It cut into the back of my heel, and left an awkward gap at the bottom. The curve they engineered into the shoe also stresses the foot out when not walking forcing your foot into a unnatural arched shape similar to wearing heels. Vamp is cut just right though, not too high and not too low.

So far I'm a fan of these flats. I bought these and a pair of Tieks for comparison. These shoes were much more comfortable, the leather is sturdier (my toes didn't look like they were popping through the leather), and they felt more secure on my foot. I have wide feet and I ordered my usual size 8's and they feel fine. These have a nice amount of cushion for a flat. I will update my review after extended wear.

Love these shoes! I have narrow feet and they stay on my feet because of the elastic around the sides of shoe! They look great. Although they are very comfy, they have no cushion and are not good for standing on your feet for long hours.

The best nude flat! These are extremely comfortable and flexible. As a teacher I spend a lot of time on my feet and these allow me to be stylish and comfortable all day. I'm sure I will wear them out! I'd say they fit true to size and the nude color is perfect for my fair skin. If you're thinking about purchasing, don't hesitate!

Unfortunately the toe box felt a little narrow and there was gaping on both sides and I was disappointed by how cheap and plastic-y the shoes looked. I have other Vince Camuto shoes and have been pleased with them, but these were way off base.

Cute and comfortable ballet flat. The color "powder" is a great shade of nude for my skin tone during the not so tan months :) I ordered 1/2 size larger based on reviews and they are super comfy if not a tad big and I lean towards a wider foot in this style...hope that'll help when deciding your size to order.

I love these flats. I own many pairs in different leathers/fabrics. But notice I used the word "flats." There is no support so if you need that in a shoe, do yourself a favor and look for another style. These are like slippers!

Very beautifully made shoe. But for me the 7.5 was way too small even though i'm usually a 7.5 or 8. Plus, now almost 60 years, i guess the forefoot and toes want a lot more room! I'm thinking of moving over to the Birkenstock Boston. Otherwise, again, this is a beautifully made shoe in my opinion. I would suggest to keep in mind how tightly one wants one's toes in shoes like this.

I love these Ellen flats! The foot bed is super comfortable and a great shoe to wear all day. The color is beautiful, and the leather is incredibly soft. I do have a wide foot, so the material gives the perfect amount of stretch without hurting. I did order a size up (I typically wear an 8.5 but ordered a 9 because I feel as though this brand tends to run slightly small). The extra room makes for a very comfortable fit. I would rate these flats a 10 if the option were available!

Bought these for my daughter and she says they are very comfortable. She loves them and wears them often. They seem to run true to size. My daughter's foot is on the wide side and she says they feel fine (I think they adapt to foot nicely...without looking stretched out).

I received these shoes this afternoon and must say I am blown away by the quality, detailing (fine leather texture is very visible and appealing) and comfort of these shoes. I ordered the Black Lamb after much thought, I was originally going to order the Patent Black Ellen - and I am ever so grateful that I stuck with my choice! The Vince Camuto Ellen flat in Black Lamb is a very highly pigmented, rich black color. It is perfect for work attire, and I must mention how insanely comfortable they are. They are true to size despite many review comments advising to order half a size up. I say do not do it, stick to your original shoe size! Because if anything, these are the most true to size shoes that I have worn, and the perfectly placed cushioning right beneath the toes and heel is a bonus. They feel like little pillows that hug the curves of the foot. I cannot stop looking down at my feet, I have been doing this all day at work! I swear I think I am in love! Like most reviewers, I am planning on purchasing a whole collection of these Ellen ballet flats. I have my eyes on colors: Rose, Moonrock, Atlantic Blue and a second pair of Black - but this time Black Patent as I already have Black Lamb. If you are looking for supremely high quality shoes, do not hesitate to buy the Ellen, they are worth every penny! Vince Camuto is a genius when it comes making purses and shoes for women. I am a customer for a lifetime.

After spending months looking for the perfect plain black leather low-profile ballerina shoes, I finally found them! I tried these shoes in the black lamb along with the Kenneth Cole Slip on By and the Born Julianne, and preferred the Vince Camutos by far. The leather is incredibly soft, and the entire shoe is very flexible and forms to the foot. The lining is leather, which is great for breathability. The sole is very low profile. There is not any support to speak of. In fact, the shoe sort of folds upward when you are not wearing them. However, that is part of what I was looking for in a low-profile flat. The elastic area around the top of the shoe felt comfortable at first, but began to dig into the top of my foot after about an hour of wear. However, I am sure that they will stretch out as soon as I break them in a bit. My only concern is how long they last. Because the leather is so soft and flexible, I am afraid that they will wear out faster than I would like. I will update if that is the case.

Great flats! This is my second pair of the black lamb. The last pair lasted me years. Eventually the black started to fade, but a little black shoe polish fixed that quickly. Super comfortable and goes with everything! I also bought the bisque patent previously, and I hated those. They weren't as comfortable and discolored quickly.

I purchased for a last minute weekend trip and they were comfortable right out of the box. True to size, I got the 7.5 and can wear with or without my little socklettes. The interior is super soft leather and sole is rubber.

Had these shoes for all of 2 days now and I'm wondering how I lived without them! I debated getting these or a similar ballet by Cole Haan, and worried that the Ellen might look cheap. But no! Nice shape, comfy, cute, and great fit plus cheaper. Great option if this ballet is what you're looking for.

Bought both the black lamb and the bisque patent. Keeping the supple and soft black lamb and returning the bisque patent. The heel line hit at just the wrong spot and the rigidity of the patent made it uncomfortable and I am unwilling to invest the time/pain/blistering of trying to wear them in.

I have now worn through two pairs of these in the Bisque color. They are the perfect nude for my light olive skin tone. And the patent leather cleans well and just adds an extra level of special IMHO. I will say my first pair fit better. I ordered an 8 (my usual size) and they fit perfectly and were quite comfortable for a ballet flat. The second pair I ordered after I'd worn the first pair into the ground were much too small in an 8. I ended up with an 8 1/2 but they felt narrower than my first pair and were never quite as comfortable as the first pair. But I loved the style and color so much I kept them and eventually wore those out as well. I tried to order a replacement pair but unfortunately the shoe appears to have been discontinued. 8 was the closest available size and it was much too small. Sadness.

Great basic leather flats! The black Napa leather is really chic and good quality, especially given the price. Was able to wear these flats right out of the box, no wear-in time needed! Very comfy right out of the box. One of my best Zappos shoe purchases of all-time! I’m going to snap these up in more colors for sure.

Love these shoes. Foldable. Great for travel. I decided on another pair because the others had a slight heel and little more protection on the sole of the foot.

Perfect pair of ballet flats! There’s not a lot of arch support so I? wouldn’t recommend doing a ton of walking in these flats.

I bought 2 colors. One is a patent leather, the other is not. This is an exceptional flat. I normally have a hard time with flats, but these are comfy all the way around.
