These are great shoes! I got them for my daughter who is 13 and running cross country. She had a similar pair, although not stability shoes, in 9, this is a 9.5. She needed the half size larger for running comfort and her coach recommended it as well. She loves the arch support and the shoe description says it is moderate arch support, so she also wears an insert arch support because her arch is very high. She loves the colors! They are lightweight and cushy and she thinks they are the bomb!

A great lightweight gym/running sneaker. The fit is true to size and not too tight or loose for activities. Bright, pretty purple color.

I bought the shoes for running as a beginning runner when my ankle started to hurt in my old trail running shoes. I have extra wide feet, but generally can get away with medium width shoes, especially running shoes (except for Nikes, those run narrow). I got the shoes in extra wide, as recommended by other reviewers, and they are wider than my other M width Asics, but not by much, so I think this model does run narrower. I got the same size as my old ones, and they are the same length. Generally, my feet are not picky, and I don't have any issues with running shoes, and these felt just fine on me, too. I thought I had collapsed arches and overpronation because I am very flat footed, but the foot and ankle surgeon confirmed my arches were just fine based on an X-ray, so that's about as good of an opinion as you can get. Therefore, I can't really comment on stability control because I don't need it anyway. Unfortunately, I have not used them for running much because my injury turned out to be a stress fracture, but I wore the shoes plenty for everyday wear since the fracture, and they are very cushiony. The only thing I don't like is the white sock lining because it gets dirty with wear fast.

Love these shoes! I work 12 hours days and these are great. They have got me back into a running routine. I highly recommend! Really cute too!

I have worn Asics for 20+ years. I was a little nervous to jump to the 2000s after reading reviews. I took the leap and am very pleased. Shoe is very comfortable. I run on average 25 miles a week.

Asics have been my shoe of choice for at least 5 years and this style is as dependable as the others I have owned. It will be short of amazing if I ever switch brands!

I love these. Wear them on the street and at the gym. Very supportive, especially the arch. Pretty cushiony too. I was leery about these as I had loved their predecessor - the GT-2170. But the redesign in this newer GT-2000, as far as I can tell, is all about reducing the weight of the shoe. Doesn't seem to me that anything else was sacrificed.

I am a big Asics fan and these shoes do not disappoint! They are very comfortable. My physical therapist recommended it for the stability feature after a recent ankle injury. I love the colors, too. I am usually not a fan of mostly white shoes but the pink and orange together is so cute. They look great with all of my attire.

I can only wear this style shoe after several surgeries on my foot. This time I had to order a half size larger than usual. But after I exchanged them (quick and painless with Zappos, of course!) I was good to go.

Fit perfectly -- so comfortable and I was able to run with them right away. Good arch support. If you are hard on the back of your heels, these may not be stiff enough.

I am a recreational runner (20 miles/wk) and like the light weight and stability of these shoes. I buy the same model, different color, each time. I find the toe box to be narrower than other running shoes which makes them less clunky feeling. I get a half size larger than my normal shoe size.

I have had several pairs of Asics GT-2000's. these fit the same as the previous ones I have bought. I love the color and get many compliments on them. Tried to buy another pair exactly like them, but they sold out quickly!

I ordered the 2E to accommodate my orthotics but found the 2E was more narrow than I anticipated. Nice light-weight shoe would recommend but beware if you wear bulky orthotics.

I've been wearing the GT-1000 for a while now - as I am a low mileage runner. Recently when it was time for me to order a new pair I ordered both the GT-1000 and the GT-2000 and ended up keeping the GT-2000 and returning my tried and true GT-1000! The difference in comfort and support is well worth the little bit more money.

These sneakers were recommended by my podiatrist and he was right on the money! I am a nurse and wear them to work. They have helped me from coming home from work and wanting to cut my feet off! They are supportive and true to size!

Love the color and the fit right out of the box. I wear them running and to Step class. There is not a high level of support for lateral movements but otherwise great!

These shoes are just as pictured. Very sporty and very cute. I am a nurse on my feet all day. The cushion in these shoes is great!

I like the shoes and the service. I like the fact that I can return them if they don't fit. These fit just fine, as I was wearing GT2170 and this is the next model in that line.

I wanted a running shoe that didn't look wide and clunky, something suitable for my long, thin feet. These fit the bill just fine. They are stylish and cute, colorful but not outlandish neon, and super comfortable and user-friendly. I wear a size 10 medium, bought a size 10, and they fit great in both length and width. I've never bought Asics shoes before but I may be a convert now.

Very comfortable shoe. Not as wide in the forefoot as some Asics which is good for me since my feet are somewhat narrow. I have flat feet and wear a hard plastic heel cup orthotic insert in my left shoe. This accommodated it well though I did have to switch to a slightly thinner insole in the left shoe to fit the insert comfortably. Had worn the GT 1000 and found the 2000 to be even more comfortable and somewhat more cushioned. I always buy Asics and always with the duomax outsole. Plenty of support and I would recommend this shoe.

Love these shoes! Long, narrow foot and these are narrower than New Balance narrow (which is still pretty wide), so fit me better. The soles are cushioned and extremely comfortable. Good arch support, too.

I was having pain in my hamstrings and these shoes really eased my pain and got me back to a more normal running routine. These shoes are very cushiony and mold to your feet. They are pretty light for the amount of gel they have in them. I would recommend these shoes to anyone who overpronates and has some foot/leg/muscle pain as a result. Order at least half size up as with any running shoe.

I am a neutral runner but I haven't been happy with neutral offerings. I thought I'd give these a try and I'm so glad I did! Asics did a good job keeping this shoe low and performance oriented without stripping it down. Easy paces feel effortless and quick paces are possible. The transition is snappy for a trainer. By the way, my pace is 7:30-8. Don't mess it up next year asics please!

I'm a bit of a label whore so I tend to lean towards Nike products. However, with my new found love for the gym/running I've found that my Nike free runs just don't cut it and I've heard nothing but good things about Asics. Needless to say I will not be returning to Nike for my running shoes! Love my Asics, super comfortable. I can run further without as much tension on my shins. If you're skeptical about purchasing these, don't be!
