I am a huge fan of Birkenstocks for their mega-hip, slightly quirky styles and sweet comfort. The suede Arizonas with soft footbeds are the comfiest of the comfy, like slippers. Birkenstocks last forever and are well worth the investment. I walk a lot at work; my Arizonas help my feet stay happy all day.

These are so comfortable! I purchased the Velvet Gray Suede and they are perfect! The only thing I would say as a "negative" is that the straps feel a little loose like there needs to be an extra hole punched in the suede. I'm not sure if these have been tried on a few times and stretched out, or it's just how they were made. Otherwise, they are perfect! I ordered a size 37 (I'm a size 7/7.5 normally). Would highly recommend!

I've been wearing Birkenstock Arizona in Suede for 30 years or more. Suede is my preference and I find it much easier to break in than leather. The narrow footbed is perfect for me. I also love doing business with Zappo's - orders are shipped right away, and I have never had an issue with returns.

I love this product. I recently broke my foot so I needed a very soft and comfortable shoe to wear.

I love love love the soft footbed, these felt great immediately, no break in time. I'm normally a size 6 in most shoes, maybe even a 6.5 sometimes, but i ordered these in the size 36 (size5- 5.5) and they fit perfect. highly recommend, the suede buckle straps are super comfy too.

I first wore Birkenstock's Arizona Soft Footbed in 1974 at the age of 34, post foot surgery as recommended by my podiatrist. I wore them everywhere, even on the dance floor. Here we are 2018 and I still choose this sandal over all others. Love them.

I just received these from my trusty UPS man, and I am in love! I ordered the taupe, suede ones in my recommended size, which was women's 8-8.5 narrow. Typically, I wear an 8 with medium width, however, thank goodness I read the width instructions from Birkenstock and the reviews, which clued me in that I needed to order narrow. Narrow in these shoes covers regular width and narrow, so be aware. The foot bed is amazing. I got these because I suffer from plantar fasciitis and I wanted cute shoes with support. I am so happy I got them. They will look awesome with shorts, jeans, and skirts. Order them, you won't regret it!

I always wear a 38 and it was way too long in this shoe! Width was perfect. Had to return for a 37

This is my first pair of Birkenstock sandals and I love them! I have pain in my foot sometimes but never when I wear these. They provide just the right amount of support and my feet feel great when I wear these shoes!

Let's face it: these are among the ugliest shoes ever made. I wore them the first time around when I was in my 20s, and now I'm in my 60s and I am so thankful that I tried them again. After sending back multiple pairs of sandals that claimed to be comfortable, but weren't, these Arizona sandals with the soft footbed are making my feet very happy. There was absolutely no break in time, and walking in them is totally comfortable. I don't remember the hard footbed that people complained about, but this softer version is very kind to feet that have lost a lot of their natural padding over the years. I love to walk, and at last I have some sandals that are a joy to walk in. They are not pretty, but my young student tells me they are back in fashion. Hallelujah!! I love them and have worn them every day since purchasing.

I think runs a bit big. I wear a 6.5-7 shoe usually and the size 36 is a perfect fit. Excellent for wide feet. The narrow fits too but the normal width is more comfortable. The buckle does hurt my right foot through the suede when I’m walking but a bandaid on the area on the firm area has resolved this. I think as the shoes are broken in, this will resolve.

I usually wear a 37 but they were much too roomy. Went down to a 36.. much better. I am US size 6.5

These are absolutely worth the money. I bought my first pair of Birkenstocks in Germany one summer in the 1980s and wore them and wore them and wore them. The soft footbed really is a remarkable upgrade. Makes all the difference in the way they feel on my feet. I don't want to wear any other kind of sandal...so naturally that means I had to buy a couple more Birkis... No break in time whatsoever. And the most important part...other than foot comfort...the problems in my back have virtually disappeared since I started wearing these again. WOW! Oh, and my granddaughters think they are really cool.

Once you find your fit, stick with it. I can wear these out shopping all day and feet never get tired. I have the beige and the black. Might buy another color this year....

I am so glad that I read the reviews and went with the narrow because I definitely don’t have a narrow foot and these fit perfectly. I had ordered a regular width and it was far too wide and “sloppy.” These are such a comfortable classic, you won’t be sorry you ordered them.

Are you really buying Birkenstock’s for style? Ha, I’m kidding. It’s really about the comfort to me and those sandals are the most comfortable sandals money can buy. Just be patient to break them in a bit, the soft footbed helps, but still takes a few weeks until they mold to your foot. Enjoy!

The buckles are a copper color, it adds a nice touch to the taupe suede shoes.

This is the great Birkenstock sandal with arch support and comfort as it conforms to the foot. Unless you have an wide/wide foot, women should order the narrow. I wear a size 41 Narrow, which is just right and I definitely don't have a narrow foot ... the regular would have been much too wide. This is the perfect sandal for me for another reason; thanks to the arch support, it stops my overpronation in my right foot. and the grey is a great color for just about any occasion ... with skirt, dress, leggings, slacks or jeans.

I ordered down a size and in the narrow option; with these two adjustments, I got my exact size (normally not a narrow). Very stylish, especially with the rose gold metal clasps. This color (taupe) also matches with virtually anything, and in the soft footbed option, there is only a minimal "breaking in" period.

I absolutely love these shoes. I was hesitant to buy them since they are obviously pricey but I really needed a nice pair of sandals with arch support. I can say they were 100% worth the money. I did have to exchange them though because I listened to some reviews and sized down. I should have gone with my normal size according to the size chart. At least the exchange was quick and hassle free! (thanks Zappos!) Definitely get the narrow fit though unless you have extremely wide feet. Also I saw a lot of reviews that said that they didn’t need to be broken in and I got really nervous when I got them because they weren’t that comfortable. They feel great after a few days of wear! If you’re on the fence about these shoes, do it.

The suede Arizona with the soft footbed can’t get any more comfortable. I had them in oiled leather and a regular footbed and they weren’t as comfortable as these! Love my new Birkis!
