I waited a long time to buy another pair, the old ones were over 25 years old:) I bought the suede, the size as was designated...and it was all perfect.

I bought two pairs of the Arizona Soft Bed Birkenstocks, both suede, in black, and tan. I was a years-long Mephisto customer but have given up on the new hard footbed Mephisto is making now. The regular Birkenstock footbed is too hard for me but the Arizona Soft Bed is better. Unfortunately, the regular width is too narrow to accommodate my bunions, and the wide width is too wide to my narrow instep and heel. I’m keeping one pair because I’ve worn them around the house, but I’ll have to see a shoe repair about putting an insole in these to improve the fit. Although the straps are adjustable, the wide width is still too wide.

These were my 7th pair of Birk’s and the comfort level is exceptional. These were the first pair with suede straps. I dislike having to always lift straps before putting on feet. I will stick with the stiffer leather straps which keep form allowing to easily slide foot into sandal.

I wish I could keep them because they were so comfy, sadly they fit me slightly small and I should know better since I’m regularly 12 in sandals and I ordered 11-11.5, besides that they’re pretty cool.

I’m a true size 12 so the shoes are a bit big but I don’t mind. I bought the Birkenstock’s because I like the big, chunky fit. Very comfortable and no break in period. I wear them basically all day now, especially with WFH still in full swing. Look great with any pair of shorts and t-shirt/polo. I can’t recommend them enough.

I usually wear size 7. So I ordered 7-7.5/38 narrow. Well, the sandals were way too big. I returned them and got 6-6.5/37 (barrow as well) instead. Perfect! So be aware about the size. Other than that the sandals are great. Once I got the right size the fit, widths, arch support are really good.

Cant say I love these. Can’t slide my feet in them because the suede straps collapse. They look ten years old after one day. They are ok, but overall I am not particularly pleased. Maybe I should have returned them.

This is my second pair this summer. I love Birks but definitely prefer the soft bed for more comfort and newly converted to the suede uppers too. So soft, it is great!

I love Birkenstock sandals; in particular, the Arizona soft foodbed. You just can't go wrong with this shoe if you're looking for all day comfort and arch support. It's not the most attractive shoe ever made, but it sure is the most comfortable.

If you have long toes they’ll feel funny at first but overall very comfortable for big and flat feet.

Love hate. My right sandal feels good. My left one has issues. First, with the buckle on the last hole, the toe strap was still too loose. Luckily I have a leather hole punch and I made one more hole. My feet are medium width so it’s odd I had to do that. Secondly, the heel area bends up on either side. On my left foot it puts a lot of pressure on the inside of my foot. It turns my foot red and it’s not comfortable. I’m hoping it will break in and be fine.

Great! If you're a got fit in a narrow size, but your feet are wide go down an entire size! I fit 37 Narrow perfect aside from the width. Tried 37 Regular/wide and my feet were swimming in the birks. I went with the 36 Regular/wide and they're PERFECT. Also, Zappos is the best and their customer service is top notch. I do not see myself purchasing from other retails because Zappos often has shoes cheaper, fast free shipping, and great service!

Before I speak about the sandals, I want to speak about Zappos' customer service. They are the absolute BEST. I ordered 37 Narrow and that actually made me find out I have wide feet. Therefore, they sent me a replacement to try on (37 Regular/Wide). If you are trying a certain size in narrow and it fits you good aside from the width of it, do not get regular/wide of the SAME SIZE, GO DOWN 1 SIZE! I ended up fitting into a 36 Regular/wide although 37 fit length wise, not narrowness. My pinky toe would move up the edge of the cork when walking. Now onto Zappos' customer service. They are absolutely amazing. Through the text chat, you can always talk to them and they're always available. I was receiving exchanged shoes within 4 days. They are very patient and understanding. I honestly do not think I'm buying shoes from anywhere else besides here. Most does are available and priced lower than in stores. Thank you so much Zappos! I finally get to break in my first pair of Birkenstocks.

The taupe color isn’t as light and pretty as in the photos. The soles are so hard; like walking on concrete. Why can’t they make half sizes? 38 and my foot is too far forward so the toe bar isn’t in the right place. 39 and the toe bar is correct but there’s too much shoe left behind my heel. The only good part is the suede is soft.

I haven't worn Birkenstocks for many years, but thought I'd give them a try again. So glad I did. Forgot how comfortable they are - especially with the soft footbed. I'm hooked again. Ordered my usual size and width - perfect fit.

Love Birkenstock’s . Iv had a pair for years so the sizing writing on the sandals wore off . I’m usually 8.5-9 on shoe size . So I ordered 8-8.5 and they were just a half size too big . No big deal called Zappos and their amazing consumer service helped me order the next size down.

I needed to try on the regular and the narrow fit at the same time. After doing this, I was able to determine that I did need the "regular" fit. Absolutely love that this is ok with Zappos.

Love my Birkenstock’s! This is my 2nd pair of the soft footbed. I’m having issues with my metatarsal in my right foot so the soft footbed style are the ONLY shoes I wear aside from my running shoes. I ordered the narrow based on the fact that it’s a unisex style. Admittedly when I put them on out of the box BEFORE buckling them they looked/felt very narrow. However, after I adjusted the buckles they are perfect! The suede Straps are not as thick as others but are buttery soft. No break in period with the soft footbeds!

Had to use the guide provided to figure my size, they fit perfect.

Finally, I have a perfect fit and comfort. I normally wear a 9m and found that the narrow width is the closest to my usual medium. This can be confusing when choosing. I have sent several pairs back and am thankful that Zappos has the return policy to allow this. The suede is supple and the footbed will be my own footprint with several days of wearing. Birkenstock’s are expensive but last for years. They cured my plantar fasciitis years ago by wearing them in the house year round. Wearing heeded boots while teaching. I wear them with socks around the house in the winter. This gives my arch the support it needs. I have happy feet!
