The velvet gray suede looks MUCH darker in the advertisement than it really is. It also has a strange pebble texture that isn't shown in the photo.

i so wanted these shoes to work for me, and ordered the soft sole version. however, the arch support is very stiff, and my feet are tender, so these aren't going to work for me. thanks for the great service.

I hesitated to buy these because I have wide feet due to bunion repair, and shoes rub my toes easily. The suede on these sandals is butter soft, doesn’t rub a bit, and the adjustable buckles are perfect for comfort. The sole is comfortable. I bought 2 sizes and kept the larger one for more room in the toe bed. I have a wide foot and surprisingly the narrower width worked for me. The wider width would’ve been too loose. Great, trendy shoe that looks good with shorts, ankle jeans or capris.

I am tall and have long, narrow feet, a women's size 12.5-13. It is very hard to find shoes. I was surprised to find a size 44 narrow at Zappos and was skeptical that they would fit but I took a chance and ordered the Arizona soft footbed. That was 10 years ago. I have worn them daily throughout those 10 years and still love them just as much today as when they were brand new. I was a stay at home mom to 5 kids (now all grown) and these were/are my house shoes so they were/are worn many hours a day. The arch support is excellent, even after 10 years. When I come home from an outing where I've had to wear other shoes of any kind, my feet are so happy to get back into their Arizonas. After 10 years, the suede uppers are still going strong - no tears or worn thin spots. The footbed is beautifully conformed to my feet and holding up well. I have worn the outsole down in spots, mainly the outside edge of each heel. And, after 10 years of daily wear (and I'm no lightweight - almost 200 pounds) the cork soles are starting to compress and deteriorate in a couple of spots, mainly the heels. It's time to order a new pair! But at 10 years for $130 (what I paid in 2013), that's only $13 a year for excellent support and comfort all day every day. I hope Birkenstock never discontinues the Arizona, and that Zappos continues to carry narrows in the larger sizes!

Husband needed a new pair of Birkenstock sandals and Zappos is my "Go To" place for shoes! He has this sandal in many colors and the quality and fit are great! Zappos has outstanding shipping time and customer service!

It was really long time since I purchased the real Birkenstocks and they don’t disappoint! I’m usually a 9 1/2 and got the 40 , but as I tried them I realized they were just right at the edges of my toes and heels so I switched to 41 and they are perfect! The narrow is what others also said; it means regular for women, so they fit perfectly fine for me. I love the black suede because it’s simple, delicate and goes with everything. Zappos never disappoints in terms of customer service and speed!

I ordered the Arizona suede softbed sandal, as I wanted the softest possible Birk with the least amount of breaking in needed. It really didn't need any breaking in at all. I have plantar fasciitis and metatarsal arch issues, and I really love how this shoe supports my feet! My usual sandal size is women's 9 M. The unisex sizing is new to me, so I paid attention to other reviews and ordered size 40 (women's 9.5) in the narrow width--it's just perfect! The great thing is that, if this pair hadn't worked out, Zappo's return/exchange policy is amazing! I'm a happy Zappo's convert!

I’m a long time fan of Birkenstock (since 1987) The Arizona is my favorite style and suede the most comfortable strap. I am a size 9 shoe regular width and I buy Birks in 40 Narrow (which is a regular width for them) I purchased the Navy (Night) suede with the matching buckles. The navy is a dark grey blue .... they are cute! I buy the soft foot bed. They really do make a difference if your back bothers you.

LOVE my Birkenstock’s! I started wearing them 20 years ago (& continued even when it wasn’t “cool”). Now I’m back in style. :) GREAT sandals. Worth every penny. Bought a second pair two weeks later lol FYI This style IS wide. Perfect for my “Fred Flintstone” feet though. Haha

I have been wearing Birkenstocks for 30 years now and this is my first pair with the soft footbed. I love them. I got the Velvet Gray suede. The color is beautiful and the suede is so comfy. Sizing: I'm a 7.5-8 womens narrow, for this style (and Milano) I wear 39N. In the Salina and all plastic Arizona styles I wear 38N. I have high arches and these provide great support.

I'm a female with average width feet, but need wider shoes because of a bunion on my left foot. These are perfect in the regular width, as I can adjust the straps on both shoes to fit the different widths I need. Comfortable from first wear (I've found some styles of Birkenstocks aren't because the leather is stiff at first).

Love Zappos! Don't know how they ship so fast! This is my first pair of Birkenstocks since I was in High School - I really like them - they don't hurt my feet or rub anywhere - they are comfortable to walk around in for hours - I love the soft footbed (it's just got the right amount of padding). They are getting more comfortable and easier to walk in as I wear them more and more. I got a size 40 I am a 9.5 / 10 with a wide foot. Love these sandals look forward to wearing all summer!

This sandal is worth the extra money for the soft footbed. Very comfortable, and very durable. The only problem I had was that they didn't come with enough holes on the straps making them not tight enough, so I just made my own holes. Not a big problem. These sandals are made with a softer material on the straps making them even better. In other words spend the little extra money these sandals cost because it's worth it.

Love these! I got these after first having bought the Birkis that are similar and loved them for several years. I wanted another great shoe and tried these out. The soft footbed is really nice and comfortable. I am noticing that they are wearing better than the other pair too. I will have these for years! Definitely easier on your foot than flip flops too!

My husband loved these shoes. The suede is very soft and easy to wear without that break-in period. The only issue was that we had to add another hole in the front strap to tighten the fit.
