Adorable shoe and comfortable except for patent leather cutting into the foot when walking. This needs to be softer and it is very stiff.

As a nurse in a hospital, I have worn Dansko's and find that they are not so comfortable anymore. I switched to Alegria recently and found them to be better for my feet as well as the pressure on my back. The only problems I had with these shoes was that the strap area where it connects to the shoe, was pinching the area where you might have a bunion. I do not. I had to use a shoe stretcher with a bunion attachment to loosen up that area. Also, I usually wear an 8, but found the 38 to be at least a size too big. I kept the shoes anyway and just wear thick socks. After all the adjustments, the shoe is actually very comfortable.

Alegria shoes do not come in narrow. The color was spectacular but the placement of the strap allowed to much slippage.

I decided I needed another pair of Alegria shoes and decided on the Dayna to see if I would like it even better than the Paloma ones I bought in the fall. I ordered the bronze patent because Zappos has that color on sale. I love the color; they are a fairly dark brown and very shiny and dressy-looking. The style also looked very nice on my foot. However, I have narrow heels and have to pull the strap very tight to keep the shoe from slipping too much. The angled strap on the Dayna hurt the top of my foot after a few minutes. When I loosened it a little, the shoes slipped up and down on my heel way too much (even with the mole foam padding I intended to stick in the heel to get it to fit better). I do not have this problem with the Paloma style, so I will need to return the Dayna and buy another pair of Paloma shoes. If you do not have narrow heels and thus do not need to pull the strap so tight, I recommend that you do try these. If they fit your foot, you will love the way they look and how they support your foot. My other Alegria shoes have been great for my plantar fasciitis.

I love these shoes! I work on my feet 12 hours a night and these never hurt my feet. They are a little narrow for my wide foot. If your foot is not regular and you usually order a wide size, you may find these a bit snug.

These shoes are very wide! Not only around your foot but also the outer portion of the shoe extends much further than it needs to on the sides and front. I had to send these back since I was tripping over myself with all the extra shoe.

I am completely disappointed! I have two of the classic Alegria and one sandal and they are my most comfortable shoes. Naturally I expected the same when I purchased the Dayna. Boy, was I wrong. While their other shoes are roomy, these are tight and restrictive and uncomfortable. I don't understand why the fit would change so drastically. Very sad about it. Can't return them because I've already worn them out thinking they'd be just fine.

These shoes are just adorable, and very comfortable. I am not a nurse, but loved the print so much, I had to have them. The sole is a tad firmer than normal, as they are professional shoes, but not uncomfortably so. I wore them to church on Easter and got many compliments. I love Alegria shoes, and Zappos has a very nice selection. I will be back for more. Thank you!

I work 12 hour shifts as a PACU nurse, so I am on my feet all day. Probably log in a mile or so walking around the dept. These shoes are so comfortable! It was weird at first because of the bulk - it sort of rock/propels you. But once you get used to it, it IS heaven. I wear 36 in Danskos, and got the 36 in these. Perfect. I have wide feet, so it's great! Superior arch support. The shoes themselves are very durable, I would imagine these would last a few years. Love them so much, I'm getting another pair. :)

Bought 2 pair of these shoes and love them. Suffered from foot and leg pain for two years and these are making a huge difference to me. Very pleased with Zappos service too.

I just ordered my third pair of these awesome shoes! I am a teacher, so I am on my feet all day and constantly moving. I love the funky styles too!

Love them. I am a paraplegic, so my feet swell due to inactivity. The velcro straps allow for the swelling. I think they look fashionable too. Perfect for my feet. I just ordered a second pair in black. I can't speak to how they feel on my feet but the fit is perfect. I like to look stylish and this shoe fits the bill.

I love these shoes! They are so comfortable and my feet feel great at the end of a long day. Much better than the clogs I had from another company.

I was so excited to pick up my Dayna Professionals in White Floral. I have Morton's neuroma and am working in new orthotics. My Pedorthist suggested looking for shoes with rocker soles. Thrilled at finding both a rocker sole and orthotic friendly shoe, plus my fav and best fitting Mary Jane -- Wow! Unfortunately there is a manufacturing error in my pair. The right is great but the placement of the strap on the left is incorrect. Back they go. Sadly I live in Canada and Zappos no longer ships here. Another trip to Ogdensburg. Hoping the next pair is better. Oooh La La, wish I had tried these prior to my feet falling apart. These footbeds are incredible for those not needing something custom. Hoping to up my rating with the next pair.
