Runs small

Great boot, but it ran one size too small. I wear an 8.5 shoe and the size 9 was too small.

This is my first winter wearing these boots. I loved them as they were easy to put on and slip off. I bought them to use with snow shoes, but not sure if I will as the few times I have worn them they have started falling apart. The top nylon part of the boot with the pull cord to tighten them frayed and ripped off one boot. Looks like bad sewing. Not impressed with the amount of money I paid for them. I have used fabric glue to try to reattach to boot.

These looked great and slipped on nicely; however, the instep was very narrow and pinched my toes and I have narrow feet. Also there was stitching inside that I could feel rub my foot uncomfortably.

I am a size 7 1/2 to 8, so I ordered a size 9. There is an insert to the boot that provides the warmth, but it made the boot way too tight. My toes were very uncomfortably squished. I tried removing the insert, but then the boot was huge on my foot and I doubt it would have provided any warmth. Either way, with the insert or without, my heel slid around, likely because I ordered a larger size. But, had I ordered an 8 I probably would not have been able to get them on at all. It would have been much better had the insert been part of the boot itself. I'm bummed I have to return them because I love how they look.

Very disappointed in the fit. I have the same style of Baffins from over 10 years ago which are still in excellent condition but I wanted to buy a similar pair for my daughter. Something is wrong with the liners in these boots. In both the size 8 and the size 9 we ordered, the boot itself was plenty big but the liner was very tight in the toes. I took the liner from my 10 year old Baffins, and put it in both of the new boats that we received and it fit perfectly and felt comfortable. So there is something mis-sized about the liner in the new boots. Sadly they both had to go back.

These just didn’t work for me. I wanted super warm winter boots for sitting outside. I’m almost always in 8.5. Got the 9, and it felt like my big toe was hitting the end, while at the same time, my heel slipped badly while I walked. Also, the lining is a relatively stiff piece foam, and there’s an odd, separate strip of lining that runs up the front interior of the boot, sort of like a tongue. But it doesn’t make sense to me and seems to get in the way.

The size was right for my foot length but too large for my heel and so have to return. I am normally a 9.5 and ordered an 11 because I tried a 10 on at REI and it was too small (and a different fuzzy interior than what I received from Zappos). Too much slippage on the heel and worry that I will have blisters. I like the slip-on but there is no adjustment with the laces provided to make the heel more snug, of which I really would have liked instead of having to return these boots.

Just rated low since I am used to the Sorel Caribou type boot. Just wanted to try something different. This was nice and light but felt like a moon boot. Just a different style that's all because it is otherwise super quality. Just personal preference opinion.

I found the size to be much smaller than my normal size. I usually wear a 6, but had to buy and 8 in this boot as even with the 7, my toes were at the very end and felt a bit squished. I want to be able to wear a fairly heavy wool sock so will now need to return the 7 and get an 8. Other than that, I think they will be exactly what I'm looking for.
