In the short time it took to walk around the house and gather my things, these rubbed my heel raw. I'm sad. They are so cute!

These are cute, comfortable, and go with everything. However, I've had them for just a year and the metallic finish has almost entirely rubbed off. They look pretty shabby now. I've ordered some metallic shoe polish in hopes of brushing them up, but if it doesn't work, I might reorder these! They're just so versatile.

Beautiful shoe and seemingly good quality. However, I have a problem with the joint of my big toe and these made it excruciatingly painful. I think it would be a problem for anyone who has issues with shoes rubbing on their big toe joint.

Pretty shoe and well made, but leather is rather stiff and is not comfortable around toes. Will require a long break-in period. I have other flats (Born) that are more comfortable right out of the box.

I tried this shoe in 10 and then 9.5. The 10 was too big; walked right out of both shoes. The 9.5 was too small on one foot. Hope you have better luck! The shoe has good arch support for a flat.

This is a really cute shoe. I actually wore these to a formal ball with a navy floor-length gown; more comfortable than heels. They are a little tight across the instep but that might improve over time, although I had to use an insert to help with my neuroma. Cute with jeans, too.

I am a Dansko girl. Clogs in winter, sandals in summer, but I needed flats. I bought these based on the arch support reviews of others. They are comfortable enough and good for when I need flats, but my heart still belongs to Dansko.

They were amazingly comfortable in the store. There is very good arch support and, a rarity, the show fit my narrow heels. My only complaint is that, after wearing it a few hours, it feels tight in the curved area above the toes. I mentioned this to the sales clerk who said, they could be stretched by the store; however, since the shoe is all leather, it may ease a bit on its own. I have decided to wear them initially for just a few hours each to break them in. I don't want them to become too loose as the leather eases. I was pleasantly surprised that an 8 1/2 was my size rather than the usual 9. One of my biggest problems has been uncomfortable shoes in the toe box area. These shoes have plenty of toe box room.

This is a nice, well-made shoe that pretty much goes with everything. The leather is sturdy, unlike many flats in this style.

This fit my slightly wide foot well and the heel was not as wide as other Earthie styles so it stayed on my foot. Size 10 length was just right. I did widen the top of the shoe a bit since after a few hours of wearing they dug just a bit (but not excessive) over the top of the foot. I think because of the pleating they won't stretch easily on their own. But now they're perfect. Vamp is cut high enough to cover the bunion area on me but those with more pronounced bunions might find them a bit tight. Cushioning is great/feet did not feel tired at all and just enough heel for me.

These are a stylish flat to wear with pants. I did find the toe box a little short and narrow so I sized up 1/2 size. They provide good arch support.

Pretty shoe. No problems with the fit or style, but I was expecting brown, and it's really a glittery bronze, which is pretty, but not what I was expecting. If I didn't have a pair of bronze shoes already, I would have kept them.

I love my earthie wedge sandals and wore them all winter. These are definitely comfortable, but because of the angle of the toe portion of the shoes combined with the slightly bulbous big toe part (which is certain comfy), I found these shoes inelegant/clownish. I would definitely try another style of earthie flats if they were more streamline.

This shoe was nice leather with leather lining, but it slipped on my heel when walking...maybe heel too wide. Had hoped for perfect with all the positive reviews. Returning shoes.

These shoes are beautifully made and very nice for work and casual functions. They would look great with slacks or even jeans. Unfortunately, the top of the show rubbed on the top of my foot because the leather is not very soft and has no give, it is more stiff than I am happy with, so they just did not work for me. I did not want to try a break in period because they are expensive and I did not want to be stuck with a pair of uncomfortable shoes. For me if a shoe does not fit well out of the box I prefer not to chance it. It is a pretty red color and very well made; I would have loved to keep them, but they had to unfortunately go back. So far I tried the Rubio model in this brand and this model which both did not work; the Bella Earthies worked like a charm, the suede in that model was better for my foot.

I excitedly purchased the "Vanya" style of Earthies after being blown away by the pair of "Bindi" flats I bought. The Bindis are possibly the most comfortable shoes I've ever bought...right out of the box, I wanted to walk miles in them. The Vanyas...not so much. They don't have the same type or amount of arch support and run a fair bit smaller than the Bindis. That said, the bronze color is really pretty and the styling is nice. Had I bought in a department store, I may have asked to try on the next half size larger or a different pair of the same size. I didn't want to mess with back-and-forth shipping through Zappos, so I kept the pair I received and am still hoping (several wearings later) that perhaps they'll stretch out a tad to make them just a little more comfortable.

First let me explain that I purchased this shoe in jazzy red a couple of yrs go. I loved that they were stylish AND a comfort shoe. They were a little wide, even for my slightly wide feet, but I thought that it would be perfect after a few hrs of wear or when my foot expands in the summer. They have worked out great! When I ordered the black pair a few weeks ago they felt a bit snug in the width. I tried wearing them at home a bit in order to stretch them out. Well, after wearing them outside for only two hrs, my skin below the inside of the ankle was torn and bloody and the back of my ankle was about to start bleeding. The exact same thing happened with the Rubio which I bought last spring, although they felt great right out of the box. And yes, they all make noise when the air is pushed out of the padding. I took the shoes that didn't work to a shoe cobbler to try to find a solution to the rubbing problem, but no such luck. I am frustrated and annoyed that I spent money on expensive comfort shoes that don't work (for me). There may also be an issue with inconsistent sizing. Other than that, I am a Zappos lover and will continue my search for a good black flat.

They're not unwearable- perhaps if they were, I would have sent them back right away. By the end of the day my poor feet ache at being squished... and I drive home with one bare foot, wishing I could operate the gas and break barefoot as well. While the purchase selection shows width: "medium", the shoes are marked on the inside with a "B" width. It's marked that way on the shoe and it's even visible from the photo of the shoe.

I ordered these in two colors: gold and floral. Am looking for shoes to wear to a wedding. Since I have a hard time finding shoes now that I have had to give up my high heels (sigh), I decided to find shoes first and get a dress to go with them. These are cute shoes and I wish they fit but they are just a little too wide overall and felt "clunky" on me. I am used to flats being wide in the heel and can adapt to that with the use of moleskin. But these were overall just slightly too loose - and a narrow, if available, would probably have been too tight.

It looks very cute but is not as comfortable as I'd like. When I put my orthotics in it scrunches my toes against the pleated top and pinches my heel.

These are very tight across the toes and they seem a tad short. They have a non-removable inner sole with minimal support, if any. They are a cute silvery gray color.

These shoes are beautiful, but I had to return them because the heel is too wide for me-kept slipping.

Very cute shoe but I have to return them because the arch support hits my foot in the wrong place.

I ordered two pairs of shoes, one Vanya (black) and one Valla (red). I just did not like the styling on the Vanya shoes. It looked very bulky and I did not feel that it was flattering at all. The arch support is great, though, and perhaps this styling will work for some people, just not for me. I sent the Vanya back, kept the Valla, which is really cute, and will order another Valla in black!

Great shoe good fit except the top of the shoe rubs against the bone below my big toes. It would be great if the edge of the top of the shoe were more stretchy.
