These are crazy expensive BUT worth it! If you are a curvy girl and you do yoga or strength training you need these. Dare I say.....they are more flattering than Lululemon for the same price. I am 50 and I am 5' 3" and weigh 136 lbs. I ordered a medium and fit like a glove. These provide just enough compression without feeling like traditional spanx. If you are a skinny girl you probably should save your money because you already look great in anything but if you are older and squishy girl these are for you. You won't be disappointed.

I love these pants, I've stopped wearing my old leggings. Spanx has a thinner, finer, tighter weave but don't look thin or see through and they don't bag at the knees by the end of the day. They are really snug, so my second pair I sized up and prefer the medium to the small. (I'm a 4 in dresses, and a small in leggings from Victoria's secret. In these I like the medium better). Probably because I want them more comfortable and less compression-y. I didn't think I'd ever spend this much on leggings, but I am a convert.

I love these pants. I am bottom heavier, and these make me look so slim in thighs. I wear them with tall boots, I cannot tell that they are active pants, I wear them them to the gym. Pretty much all the money that I spent on any other legging was a waste in the past.

I am so impressed with these leggings by Spanx! I thought I was crazy for shelling out so much for one pair of athletic pants, but these are well worth the money I spent! The "U" seam stitching in the crotch has never given me the dreaded "CT," and is very discrete. I have worn these during MMA grappling/sparring/conditioning activities, and I love their high quality flexibility and comfort stitching. I may be crazy for spending this much, but I am seriously debating getting another pair from this Spanx line. Would highly recommend! I am 5'8" about 150lbs and ordered the size L.

These pants are excellent. Especially if you have a little extra up top. They are slimming without being too tight and look great each time you wash them (which was the issue with my last pair because they were very comfortable cotton but pilled after washing and got holes).

I really like these leggings. Was hesitant to order them because of the price, and just expected to be disappointed. Happily surprised to like them as much as I do. They are definitely not as compressive as CW-X running tights, but they are more comfortable and do a great job giving me support for at-home treadmill workouts. I've been wearing them under ski pants for winter dog walking, too, and like that they give me some support (unlike my old base layer leggings). I wasn't sure what size to order, so ordered both the M & the L, and oddly they both fit - a little differently, obviously, but they do both fit. Kept them both since my weight fluctuates in typical mid-life-female style. I'm just under 5' 10" and a very average size 10, just for the record.

Love these leggings so much I've bought several pairs. I wear them constantly--both for exercise and for day-to-day activity. They look just as cute with a pair of boots or flats as they do with running shoes. I also love these for traveling--they take up very little space yet are great staple for walking around comfortably and stylishly. I am 5'9, 128 lbs and the small works great, both lengthwise and width-wise (I've often found that size small leggings too baggy and not long enough for me--not so these!). I am actually considering purchasing a 4th pair just to keep on hand for when my other three begin to wear out... Really just the best!

Worth every penny! I ordered small but they were way too small. I am 5.2, 114 lbs. Medium was perfect! Holds you in!

These are, by far, the best athletic leggings I have ever owned- (and I've been through them all...) The weight is perfect and not at all see-thru. The seaming provides shaping and the compression sucks you in in all the right places. The high waist is slimming and also provides nice lower back support. Would I spend this much on leggings if I were a young skinny-minny? Probably not. But for my age (49) and "body challenges" they're worth every cent!! For reference: I'm 5'7, 155 lbs, thicker through the middle (rather than junk in the trunk) and I own both the L and XL: L for running, XL for activities requiring free movement like pilates and barre.

These are fantastic! I feel totally comfortable in them and they are the highest quality leggings I've ever seen! A+.

I absolutely love these compression pants. I'm 72 years old & my volunteer work has me standing on concrete for hours at a time. These pants have alleviated the fatigue & soreness. They are comfortable enough I can wear them all day.

I ordered these a year and a half ago, and was almost put off by the price; however, they have turned out to be the best pair of leggings I've ever owned, and well worth the money. After many wearings (workouts, housework and yard-work) and washings/dryings these look just as they did when I first bought them. I am 44, 5'2 and 115 lbs. I ordered the small (as per size chart recommendation) and medium, and sent the small back as I just need a little smooshing-in to smooth things out. I was looking more for a highly durable legging that came up to my ACTUAL waist. The medium is a wee bit loose in the calf/ankle area, but the smalls were uncomfortably tight in the tummy area (however, they did make my waist look insanely small, so if that's what you're going for I would order the size recommended on the size chart). These never need tugging up as most lower-rise leggings do, never stretch out at the knee or bottom, and are comfortable (very warm for fall/winter temps). I've even worn them with riding boots and dressier tops/sweaters and received compliments on the look of the leggings. The seams add a nice structured look. Of special note: I have 10 cats (all with claws) and 6 dogs--this lady has ISSUES ;)--and have yet to get a single snag in these leggings, and that is freakishly unusual in my house. I don't own any other piece of clothing that doesn't sport some snags or tiny holes from kitty claws. This material wear like iron. The only thing I dislike is the material is a bit shiny, but that is a very minor quibble. Highly recommend these.

These provide a flattering fit thanks to the hi waist and beautiful fabric. Medium is perfect for me @ 5'3" 117lbs. Expensive BUT worth every cent. Haven't washed 'em yet but will use cold water and avoid the dryer to keep them in like new condition for a long time to come.

These are the most flattering, chicest, supporting and most comfortable leggings ever. I have dozens of pairs and these are my favorites! Zappos got them to me in one day, too!

My favorite running/workout tights I have found so far. Hold you in really well...love, worth the cost if you wear them a lot like I do. I'm around 140lbs and 5'4, hourglass shape but self conscious about my thighs, I got a medium and they fit perfect.

These tights/leggings are wonderful. Nice for working out, lounging around the house or even out running errands. These are high - waisted, which I love. Holds everything in place, no jiggling. I wear the leggings with a tunic and combat boots to run errands in. They also nice with winter boots. They are a bit expensive, but well worth it. They wash nicely - delicate cycle and gentle dry. Very well made product. I get some compliments and many "what kind are those?" I laugh and tell them to guess. Lululemon? NO! Zella? NO! They give up and I say "They are Spanx!" For sizing reference: I am 5'6" and weight about 118 and wear a size s.

I LOVE THESE LEGGINGS. So flattering and they make your backside look great! Very comfortable and look very cute with boots. Not super warm but you can wear them outside even during a cold Chicago winter. I would recommend these to anyone! They are definitely worth the price!

I have 4 pairs of these pants, find them indispensable as they are super comfortable. Literally I live in them and change my tops according to my mood and the seasons.

Love these! Fits like a glove, very comfortable and best of all very flattering! Cinches you at all the right places. They sit high up onto the waist -- holding the belly in and not creating any muffin top. Love these pants -- highly recommend.

Great warm supportive tights for walking or running. I walked a 15 K the day after I got them. They fit perfectly (and I've got a little belly pooch) held me in. They also washed up nicely.

Had a hole at seam so sending back. Liked it otherwise but not ordering another because didn't look like it was made that well...especially for the price.

First of all Zappos got these to me the next day. Kudos guys. Now, these are the most expensive workout pants or leggings I've ever purchased. Not that I don t purchase high end pants, I just have never paid full retail. That being said, these are the most comfortable leggings I've ever owned. More for exercise and weekend, they don t really make you thinner, they just hold everything in perfectly without squeezing the more ample parts like sausage poking out of a broken tube. The compression of the pants kept ample blood flowing though my legs during my walk and run today. I felt exhilarated and like superwoman. Just know that these are very very fitted pants, all will be smooth (if you get the proper size) and cellulite doesn't show through. I m 5 7 and 150 lbs and the medium fits properly.

Like another reviewer, the pair I received had a hole in the seam of the crotch area. Outside of that flaw/issue, these pants look great on and are work well for Pilates. They do not require pulling up or adjusting and move well with you. And of course, they make you feel firm and that's always a good thing. However, I am concerned about their quality considering mine had a hole in them. If I am to order a replacement, I question how long they would last.
