I absolutely love these shoes. I wear them as slippers around the house but could easily wear them out to run errands. They fit loose but that is the intention - fit like Birkenstocks. Overall good arch support for high arches. I wear a size US 8 and ordered a size 38. I've seen different charts say 38 is an 8 and others say 7.5. Either way, 38 = size 8 here.

Love this pair, part of Haflinger's Classic "Grizzly" line of boiled-wool clogs! The contrasting-color circular designs of this style add a little color pop & whimsy. The Grizzly line is heaven for anyone with lower back trouble: Have been wearing these ever since I had herniated discs in 2003. And the footbed actually molds to the shape of your own unique footprint over time - what could be better? Are they considered "high fashion?" Nope, not by the style mavens. But then it's not very attractive-looking AT ALL when you're limping around in pain because your pelvis is shifted to an unnatural angle (stressing your spinal column) by silly "designer" shoes with elevated heels! Get a pair of these clogs - you won't regret it. Thank you, Haflinger & Zappos!

Perfect for slipping on to go to yoga class. Love the pattern. They're warm. They are on the roomy side but since I like wearing socks with them when it's cold it works for me. My only dislike is that the toe is harder than I'd like which makes them a tad uncomfortable when going down stairs etc.

The shoes arrived when promised and I was not disappointed when I opened the box. I love the way they look- a little crazy/craft project- and the fit is great and comfortable on my hard to please feet. Excited to have cool fall days when they will be perfect sock-less and winter days with socks.

These clogs are so darn cute!! Have already received gobs of compliments on them. I am one of those in between sizes. I can wear a 7 or 7.5 depending on the shoe. I ordered the 38...too big. Got the 37's...just right. They fit great barefoot and have just enough room for socks when it gets colder. GREAT house shoe for chilly wood floors. They are worth every penny!

Totally and completely worth the cost. If you have hard floors like tile, give your back a break and get some Haflingers. This design is a cuter version of basic grey. Fits terrific with snuggly socks and comfy without. My feet are often hot, and these are breathable and never too warm. This sole is not too hard for indoor use - they're quiet and shock absorbing. They are GERMAN for goodness sake. BUY these!

These were exactly what I wanted! I wear a size 8 1/2 and ordered the 39. It fits perfectly. Recommend to anyone who wants casual but stylish.

Haflinger has updated the traditional European house shoe to something that's amazingly comfortable and fun to look at. I've been wearing Crocs as house slippers but these soft felted wool clogs are 1000% better. The cork footbed is resilient and offers plenty of support; the rubber sole is slip-resistant. The felted wool fabric is soft and comfortable against bare feet. And my feet don't sweat in them as they do in Crocs. They are a bit too roomy for my narrow feet, but they hang on well enough, maybe because the cork bottoms have molded to my arches and toes. tosgeyse d or If you're hesitant about woolen shoes, I can tell you as a knitter, spinner and weaver that wool is a wonderful natural fiber - warm in winter and cool in summer, resistant to dirt and odors. Although I think of them as indoor shoes, I might try wearing them outdoors with my handknit socks when the weather turns cooler.

Flies off your foot! As the clog has no throat or collar, it again lacks the stability that makes walking in shoes such a pleasurable activity. It pains me to return it, but I guess I'll have to go with the hi-collared Grizzly, which has always worked for me. Thanks for your terrific service Zappos.

I love these shoes, but they are too big. I wear a 6 1/2 so I ordered the 7 size 38 and even with socks they are too loose.

I always wear size 38 and have dozens of the Haflingers...but this one was just a tad big, but with a sock it is okay. I must wear them because of my feet. With them I can stand and walk forever. The cork sole and excellent arch support make it tops in my opinion. Keep your nails clipped (your right big toe nail for sure) because it has a tendency to put a hole in the wool otherwise. If you wear socks all the time, there is no problem. I don't.

I bought these brown tone shoes after I broke my 5th metatarsal bone in my left foot and had to be non-weight bearing for 6 weeks. I also bought a pair of black Birkenstocks about the same time. These were the only shoes I could wear for about 4 months as I couldn't wear any of my "cute" shoes. I had to have a shoe that wouldn't flex in the front to minimize pain from my fracture an allow more healing after I was able to start weightbearing. I was surprised at all the compliments I received while wearing these. They were also very comfortable and kept my feet warm in the cold Minnesota winter. I highly recommend them for both comfort and style especially if you have foot problems. I'm thinking about buying another pair of Haflinger shoes, as I see some other styles that look fun and interesting.

Love these! I wanted cozy, slip-on house shoes that I could wear with socks. I find slippers are too flimsy for working around the house and outdoor shoes track dirt and mud around. These fit beautifully, provide good traction on slippery floors, and the design is fun without being embarrassing when someone stops by. I wear between an 8 1/2 and 9 in most shoes. The 39 fits perfectly.

I have a very old pair of Halfinger clogs. This new pair is very similar but with a better sole. Very comfortable, warm, and nice style.

I absolutely love these! I received in a size 38 as a Christmas present, and have to return them for a size 37, but as usual Zappos makes the return/exchange so easy, I was able to try both sizes around the house before settling for something that would have been a little to sloppy on my feet. I wanted these as slippers, but will be wearing them out and about. They are cute, comfortable and just fun! They are well made. I am thinking that I will be looking at buying another pair of Haflingers in the future.

I'm halfway between an 8 1/2 and a 9. I can get into both the 39 and 40, but my toes are hitting the front of the 39 and the 40 is a hair loose. I decided to go with the 40, as I'd rather have my clogs a bit loose than too tight. Besides, if I wear socks, which I just might in the winter when wearing wool clogs, then I'll want the extra room. I love the arch support. These are actually more comfortable than my Birkenstock Boston clogs. In the end, I went with a different Haflinger design, because the Swing was a big scratchy on the inside because of the backside of the design on top.

Love these shoes, they are so comfortable and look great. The added designs on the toe box area really add a uniqueness that I enjoy. I wear these shoes to work and can be on my feet for most or all of my work day. I am most comfortable wearing a 7 1/2 wide, and the 38 seems to fit this size. I am glad these run this width as normally, most shoes are too narrow for me. I am happy to have discovered this shoe. Thanks Zappos, you are the best!

These slipper clogs are wonderful! I have a wider foot and a large bunion on one side, but these were comfy right out of the box. Good support, and don't look like you're wearing house slippers all day long. Zappos great service is always a plus!!

I love these shoes! My second pair and I still wear the first pair I bought years ago. Very comfortable yet cute, I get so many compliments! I have wide feet and these are perfect for them!

I love these shoes! Cozy and warm throughout the winter, these shoes are the best! Plenty of room for my wide feet, and just plain comfy! I am hoping they hold up and are as comfortable when I wear them walking all around New York next month! Love the design and colors, too!

Warm and cozy - I wear these for most of the winter without socks and call them my "winter flip flops." If you plan to wear them with thin or no socks, they may seem a little wide at first.

These have amazing arch support and very stiff soles. I bought these as house shoes but they have no lining, I don't think they would keep my feet warm during winter without thick socks. They seem very durable and extremely stylish!
