This is a great shoe. It is incredibly light, to the point where it's hard to believe it's so comfortable/supportive. As others have said, it really is like wearing a slipper. What's odd is that the shoe is actually much nicer looking in real life than it is on the website. It looks classier and less "futuristic." It dresses up nicely, although it retains a casual, sleek look. Really enjoying the shoe!

It's the classic tale of great comfort with hideous looks. These are made with great materials--leather and grippy solid rubber. The look of the shoe is ghastly. Moc toe, lappy leather strapping and stripped outsole. *shiver* If you are or want to give off the impression of an older-age geek who likely wears white socks with black shoes and who isn't remotely concerned about looks of a shoe, buy this and love it. Otherwise continue the search for the elusive great comfort shoe with equally great looks--does this exist? Is the shoe unicorn out there somewhere?

Bought these for our 2 week tour of Europe. Excellent comfort and durable...no evidence of treadwear after walking many, many miles! The most comfortable shoes I've ever owned. Moving forward, I might consider adding a more supporting arch support, but small detail.

I now only buy shoes by Mephisto. They are stylish and great walking shoes. I've traveled Europe and the United States and wear them every day.

I have been wearing only Mephistos ever since I had foot pain so bad I limped and only Mephistos cured it, with their support. They need no break-in. They arrived before expected, feel great and look great.

These are the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. I left the last pair on a TV shoot and they were not recovered but probably are now part of backup wardrobe for The Blacklist, so I ordered another pair.

The Mephisto Agazio is a wonderfully comfortable shoe. The only very minor complaint is that the end of one tongue rubbed against the top of my foot for a couple of days, which, while not really painful, was a bit annoying. Other than that, I have found the shoes almost perfect with a great insole, wide toe box, and roominess all over. I bought my normal size, 11 ½, and found it a good fit. My suspicion is that Mephisto constructs its shoes a fraction wider and longer than most other shoes. Whatever it is doing, it works.

I purchased these and had sent to my son in NY. Since he had Achille's tendon surgery a little over a year ago, he has been limited to heedless shoes. He says these are wonderful and the most comfortable he has ever had. Got his usual size 12. Very pleased with this brand!

The most comfortable shoes you'll ever own. The feel like they were sewn for my foot. They look great, and feel like slippers.

I own many pairs of Mephisto shoes because they are so comfortable. This is no exception. They are also light weight. The styling of this shoe is a little old fashioned, but for casual wear they are just fine.

A good, sturdy, comfortable walking shoe that goes well with jeans and can even be worn with a dark suit. I usually wear a European size 43 which equals US 9 1/2 or 10. The Mephisto Agazio shoes that I ordered are listed as a EU 8 1/2 = US 9. The sizing is not quite accurate. So order them a size smaller than you normally wear in US shoes. The medium also appears slightly wider than normal, but the extra room can be filled with thicker socks.

My wife has been telling me to buy Mephistos for years, supposedly for their quality and comfort. So I finally broke down and ventured into the $300+ shoe category and purchased a pair of Agazios. I am so disappointed in this shoe. The quality overall is not good. Very cheap plastic-like leather that folds and crinkles when you walk; once these folds occur they do not get better and you can't "train" the leather to fold or crease in another direction. So they pinch, they burn. Also, the laces, even tied loosely were digging into the tendons at the top of the foot...all in all, not a good experience so I'm sending them back. If only Clarks still made the "Caribou"!
