These shoes are really cute and extremely comfortable. I have several pairs of Alegria shoes, and I love them all. The only complaints I have about this pair is that the toes scuff very easily and one of them squeaks when I walk.

I own a lot of hi end shoes because I am a hair designer and I am on my feet for many hours each day. These shoes offer great support and my back no longer aches at the end of the day however upon wearing them still in the breaking in phase they began to squeak with each and every step. Gosh so annoying but the money I invested I will continue to wear them anyhow.

The vamp is up so high I cannot get my foot into easily.........it is a size larger and that does not even help. Trying to put them on with thin socks is impossible! Otherwise they are very beautiful and well made.

Ok, so I wear a 10 usually, ordered this in a 40 which should be a 10, hard to say anything about the arch support because these were so stiff across the top and tight, I could hardly take a step. More or less put them on took two steps and went to the Zappos site to return them. I was so excited about this brand with the reviews, and the look of the shoe was cute...so, I don't know if I will try the next size up, as I was so turned off with the stiffness of the shoe. However, I did order the Alegria Seville before and found that quite comfortable, I just didn't need the clog so much as I need a shoe, shoe, being in MN,the weather and clogs don't always work the best. So, this one is a return. LOVE ZAPPOS!! Makes shoe shopping in my home a breeze!!

I already had this in brown, so adding black was a no-brainer. Although it is super comfortable once you have it on, getting your foot to slide in is a challenge - especially when they are new since the inside of the shoe is a suede type surface and does not slide easily. I am waiting for the black ones to become as easy to get on as the older brown pair. They are also prone to squeaking sometimes - at least the brown ones did. Seems to be a common issue with Alegria. Somewhat of a fix is to remove the footbed and sprinkle some corn starch inside, replace footbed. That helps with the noisy factor. Since I am a librarian, walking around making noises with my feet is not cool.

I really wanted to love these shoes, but I wasn't able to find a size that fit. Disclaimer: my foot is wider in front, and I often have trouble with shoes feeling loose at the heel. The Bree model would have been a better choice for me to try but Zappos did not have size and color in stock.

38 is too small. 39 is too big. They are so cute. They look good with scrubs. If they were cheaper, I would have kept them and tried to make them work, but I was afraid to risk it and lose all that money. I am still hunting for the perfect work shoes.

These shoes are super cute and super comfy. My only complaint is that on my pair the arches are in two different spots on the insole, so I have to order new insoles. When I wore it around my house the first day I didn't notice it. After walking around at work, I could really notice. When I took the insoles out, I noticed they were not even the same color of tan. Good thing the insides are replaceable. Just check really good.

I really wanted to love these shoes. I think the buckles and floral pattern definitely add a nice touch. I am a physician and these shoes offer great support and width for lots of walking and standing. My problem is in the straps. I have had issues with strap/velcro clogs in the past such that the velcro loses its stickiness and becomes a pain in the butt. I thought these shoes would be okay because the tongue runs high so that the straps are mostly decorative, somewhat structural. HOWEVER, one of my straps just broke in half after three days of wear and I needed to cut the rest of the strap to carry on with the rest of my work day. Thankfully, I was wearing scrubs and able to hide the defect. I contacted Zappos customer service with this problems and they were very helpful, responsive and agreed to send me a different pair of shoes of the same value. I spoke to to Margaret using LiveChat. I don't know what I experienced was just a fluke, but I spent $140 (including tax ) so definitely expected higher quality. Despite my bad experience with the strap, I am still comfortable giving this five stars for comfort and style. Maybe you'll have better luck with the strap.

Liked the shoe design well enough, and thought it was super comfy....might have kept it but the shoe smelled terrible! Almost a moldy smell, it filled the whole room after I opened the box. It was my first time trying the brand, but I thought I'd give another Algeria style a try, and it worked out. This style was a bit more ornate than I'd prefer anyway, and it seemed tough to get my feet in and out of the shoe, the opening was tight and the buckles not very easy to manipulate.

Love the shoe EXCEPT the right one squeaks. Loud enough to be heard across a room. Never had this problem with my first pair of Alegrias, but this is annoying and will prevent me from purchasing another pair.

ABSOLUTELY DO NOT BUY THESE. Im a physician and was in need of a comfortable pair of shoes that would allow me to be on my feet all day. These shoes are light weight and are comfortable. They are a bit wide but I guess that's the price for comfort. HOWEVER, the strap broke, literally came off after 3 days!! The remaining piece was flapping around which I had to cut off entirely to carry out the rest of my work day.

I've never been so disappointed in shoes as I was in these. Ordered them because of a Dr. recommendation. I typically wear a 9.5 sometimes a 10 to fit my orthotics. I fortunately ordered 2 pair of these, one 9-9.5 and the 10-10.5. Couldn't begin to get the smaller one on. I got the other one on, barely, but it was so tight across my instep after a few minutes, my feet were falling asleep. Absolutely couldn't get them on with socks of any kind on. DEFINITELY not worth the money. The leather is incredibly hard also. Will be returning both pair.
