This is a great shoe and this is my third pair! I wear it constantly to work and after unless I’m wearing a skirt or something very dressy. I have wide front of my feet and a narrow heel so fitting in shoes is a real problem. These can also get a new sole, increasing the life. Highly recommend!

This is a very comfortable and well-made shoe. The cork insole is excellent at absorbing perspiration. I took some stars off on style because of small metal logo stud on the outside of the shoe. I don't like logos on my clothing, especially not for the amount of money I paid for these shoes. These shoes are for high arches. If you have low arches, the insole will press into them. I don't like the term "good support" because I don't think arches need to be supported. That is what muscles are for.

Wanda at Zappos customer service was awesome to talk over my shoe issues with - she really listened to my foot problems (high arches, plantar fasciitis, wide short feet). I had an experience in Taiwan when I tried on truly comfortable shoes and balked at the price. Style-wise, I thought they might be Finns. So, I decided to grit my teeth and give the Finns a try. Well, the width, the arch support, the size, all were perfect. Then I walked and realized that my instep is too high for this shoe - I would need to be able to adjust the laces further down the shoe in order to be able to walk without the leather upper folding and ramming into the top of my foot Boo! So I will have to return these. Otherwise, the fit was great and they were much lighter on my feet than I anticipated. Wanda recommended Vionics and Alegria, so I suppose I will try those next.

I love these shoes. I bought these shoes as a student for clinic and I still wear them now years after graduation. They are so comfortable, whenever I think I will buy a new pair of shoes, clogs or sneakers I always just go back to these. They are worth every penny.

These are great looking shoes that the exact EU size as indicated and are extremely comfortable. However, it may not fit if you wear half sizes. Finn Comfort only comes in whole sizes (no half size) and some models fit slightly large (or maybe small) and could fit half sizes well. The Vaasa seems to be exactly the EU size as indicated. By sizing half size up, it was too loose and half size down causes my toes to touch the top of the forefoot. There is no additional padding in the tongue but it is very flexible. If these fit you, it is a perfect fit.

Size wise this is the correct length and maybe even half a size large. Width for the toe area is wide while the rest of the shoe is standard/medium. If you are a US half size, follow the listed sizes (which is usually size down to next EU size since they don't carry half sizes). There is a lot of arch support, and the cushion is a well supported one rather than a soft cushion. It seems well made and a very comfortable for long days. The shoes that feel amazingly soft tend to not provide enough support for longer days from my experience. The extra D rings will provide more support and should help with people that have heel slippage issues.

I really wanted to love these shoes. I don't want to buy any shoes from China. These were made in Bavaria. You can tell the quality is awesome. The support is quite good. However, they are a little ducky looking and a bit stiff. Wish I could wear them but I have to send them back.

I ordered a size up based on reviews that this shoe runs a size small. I was swimming in it, so I would say, based on this experience, that the shoe runs TRUE to size not small.

Finn Comfort Vaasa asphalt-The fit is great. The color goes with everything. They are a work of art. Great arch support, perfect cushioning, pliable uppers, and soles. If you are looking for the versatile desert boots you may have worn in years past but can't find a well made pair anymore, these are close and will fit the bill.

My toes do almost touch front of shoe in the size 40. I am a 9.5 typically. However, I have another pair of this style and know that as I wear them the inserts do give a bit. Next size would be too big. Heavy socks would not be comfortable until then. Wore the she’s and love the comfort.

I've been wearing Finn Comfort shoes and sandals for more than two decades. They are made in Germany and are by far one of the most comfortable, high-quality footwear out there...period. Their removable insoles are amazing, especially for those who have chronic foot problems. Finn has a variety of shoe styles, colors, and different insoles to choose from, depending on the style. Finn Comfort shoes are a bit pricey, but well worth it. They are long-lasting and both insoles and outer soles can be replaced, the leather uppers can also be refurnished, all for a lot less than a new pair of shoes. These things make Finns almost timeless, looking and feeling great. If you want to invest in comfort for your feet, these are it!

I wanted to love these and to be comfortable. It wasn't the shoes, it was my feet. Very nice shoe, well made and great insoles. Would recommend them.

This fully leather lined shoe is beautifully constructed, with an excellent support insole. Unfortunately and surprisingly, in spite of its appearance, the toe box is too shallow and doesn't have enough room on the lateral side for my high arched foot.

Have been searching for tie-black shoes with good arch. Had high hopes, but too big. Liked arch support. Leather very stiff.

Shoe was too long.

They runs a bit small. I didn't find them particularly comfortable, and not worth the price for me. I am returning them.

I tried both sizes 39 and 40. The 39 was too short in length (irritating my repaired ingrown toe nails). The 40 was too long and deep in the toe box (sloppy). Really wish one of these would fit my foot. Returning both sizes.
