These shoes looked better in the picture. I tend to run a 9.5 to a 10. These being a 10-10.5, made them to big. My daughter wears an 10.5-11 and they fit her. But the toe box was way to large for either of us.

There was no cushion in the insole. I normally wear size 9 and had to go with 8 (39) which fit in length but was still somewhat wide. Would not recommend this brand though they are cute.

Not a good fit and a little plain.

I hesitate to write a review of these shoes given my deformed feet--bunions and one hammertoe, but thought that others might benefit who have similar foot problems. I should have sent them back, but did not, hoping that they would feel more comfortable with wear. Before purchase, I searched for reviews by people who had my problems and was assured that they worked well. The bunion problem was not evident with these shoes, but the hammertoe issue was not accommodated. The heels are also not narrow enough for my once AA foot so my foot slides around in the shoe too much. They look good, and as with all Josef Seibel shoes, are made superbly, however.

This is my second pair of Josef Seibel Theresa shoe. I was happy with my first pair and it was time to pick up a new pair. When I received them today I was super disappointed. This is not the same shoe I previously received. First the buckle was not silver, it arrived tarnished and old looking. The inside of the shoe had a insert that I could take out, verses it being part of the shoe. The shoe had a odd look to it overall. It failed to look crisp and new and for this price...I will definitely return this pair.

I really liked this shoe. Very comfortable and excellent for walking. My only complaint is that the sole really didn't hold up. I bought them in March 2013. It's now October 2014 and the sole has worn through and cracked so that if the pavement is at all wet, I get water siphoned up into the shoe. And I don't wear them in the warm months (May to September), so really, I only got about 10 months wear from these shoes - and even then not daily wear since I mix them with others - which isn't enough considering their price.

very wide throughout, especially heel and toe box

This was my fourth pair of these same shoes since a serious foot injury I suffered several years ago. These are the only shoes I ever wore to work, that’s how much I love(d) them. However, something was very different about this last pair. They made a very loud squeaking/creaking noise when I walked. I thought at first it would go away after I broke them in, but it did not go away at all. It was extremely embarrassing at work . . . People could hear me coming from quite a distance away. Thanks to Zappos’ amazing return policy, I was able to send them back. Is Josef Seibel cutting corners or something? I don’t know what would cause a shoe to make noise like this with every single step, but it was unbearable. Good riddance!

They sent me a used shoe in a plain brown box and I returned it. The shoe had paint on the bottom. I just ordered a different pair, two sizes and again, one pair came in a plain brown box. Why is Zappos sending used shoes?

I bought these because of all the great reviews. People claimed they were cute. They are not. They look as clunky and boxy in person as they do online. My husband said they looked like nurses shoes, then changed his mind and said they look Amish. I thought I looked like a policeman. None were looks I was going for! Sizewise: I bought the 38 and the 39 because I usually wear an 8. The 39s were HUGE, the 38s still a bit big. Bye-bye Amish polieman's shoes.

I have worn Josef Siebel shoes for many years and have purchased about 5 pairs of Pamela shoes over the years. I recently ordered another pair to replace a worn pair. It was completely different than previous pairs. The leather and workmanship were extremely poor. The leather doesn't even lay flat against your feet. I also ordered another pair of Josef Seibels,Teresa, that is very similar to the Pamela at I'd only give that a 1 star rating. They must have changed leather and manufacturing facilities and it is extremely disappointing.

I was very disappointed. I owned a pair of Seibels (Tedra) a few years ago and they were the best pair of shoes I have ever owned. I compare ALL shoes to that pair. These shoes were cheap feeling. The soles squeaked when I walked. They gapped too. So disappointing.

I have bought these shoes several times in the past because they were so comfortable. However, it's been several years now, and they have changed. The leather is not as flexible or soft as it was previously, and that caused the shoe to be uncomfortable for me. It feels slightly tighter around the instep, rubs against my toes, feels heavy, and doesn't bend well. I returned them.

I love Josef Seibel shoes but these feel cheap and they squeak very loudly. Not sure about the rubber sole?? Cheaply constructed. I can't spend 149.00 for shoes like this. Disappointed.

They look like something the Seven Dwarves might wear if attending a funeral and unable to wear their usual brown or grey ones. Also the heels are extremely wide.

I have a black pair of this shoe and love it. When the brown pair arrived, it was obviously a "used" shoe with worn spots, scuff marks and insoles that were too small. The poor quality was evident in the materials and sewing.

Complete disappointment! Not worth the price! I can't believe they call this a "comfort shoe." It has no support or cushioning whatsoever. I could put up with the less than average styling if the shoe offered some comfort but it really didn't. Sending it back immediately.

Do not waste the money on these "comfort" shoes. The fit is fine but they are not comfy by any stretch of the imagination.
