Very attractive boot, and as one of the other reviewers indicated, it's way nicer in person than the photo does it justice. Not my first pair of Paul Green shoes, but my would have been my first pair of PG boots. Wished they had worked out -- I wanted a gray boot. Gray, dark gray, light gray, dove gray; wouldn't have mattered. However, these boots are way more taupe than anything else. And while some would argue that taupe is a kind of a gray, taupe is a very warm greenish gray. If you're looking for taupe, I'd say you found the one. If it's gray you're after, try the Stuart Weitzman 'Prancing'. The gray is a true gray.

Totally agree with the other reviews - pricey but worth it. Hard to see the quality online. They hit the sweet spot between moto and dressy, with enough of a heel to be flattering, but not so much that you avoid them for every day. Chunkiness of the heel might get tiresome, but it's not obnoxiously clunky. They definitely run big. There's no way I'm a 9.5 but that's what I bought, although a 10 with superfeet inserts also felt pretty good. I find them a little too roomy in the ankles. They flatter my big ol' size 10 feet. Good stuff.

These boots are so gorgeous and extremely comfortable. They are a little pricey but totally worth the money. I liked them so much I bought them in both colors. One note about the Graphite -- it's more gray than tan.

Last fall I must have tried on and sent back 10 pairs of black booties. This year it took me three tries before I found these. These shoes are comfortable, well made and gorgeous. Can't say enough about them. They are expensive but such excellent quality they will last for years. I am very happy with them.

I would wear these shoes every day if I could. They feel great, they look great. They're great for casual or work, and look fabulous with denim or black or brown, skirts or pants. Expensive but worth it.

These shoes really are fantastic and the quality is evident in how incredibly soft the leather is, the stitching, and the comfort. Unfortunately there are a few details I didn't notice online - the inner and outer zippers don't match, the toe is a bit rounded and the ankle has a wider opening than I'd like. All of these are minor details that can be forgiven, but I am in search of a perfect black boot, and these are much more blue/gray than in the picture. For the price, I can't just keep them.

This is a gorgeous boot. I wear a size 6 and sometimes 6.5 and the 6 fits perfectly. I have tried on four or five booties this year and decided on this one. It is a gorgeous color (grey), it is comfortable, practical (given the rubber sole),and beautifully made (Austria). Love this bootie!

These are an awesome pair of ankle boots. I tried on tons, and these were by far the most comfortable. The heel is not too high and the balance of the boot and its support are spot on. I think they run very slightly big, but I ordered my normal size (8.5 and I was sent a Paul Green size 6) and I don't think I'd want to size down. I have a slightly wide foot and the width was good for me. I agree with the other reviewers that these look even better in person. The leather is very nice, I like how it looks a little worn and sueded in places and it's not all smooth and shiny (it will hide the wear that will inevitably occur over time), and the zipper detail on the outside of the boot is a nice aesthetic detail. I appreciate that these come with really durable non-slip soles. I have a few Paul Green shoes/boots, and in my opinion, they can't be beat for comfort. Quality is great, too. I did deduct a star for style because I think there are several cuter similar boots out there (which I tried on and were not nearly as comfortable). These look great with skinny jeans tucked in, skinny or boyfriend jeans rolled up, leggings, or skirts with tights.

Paul Green boots are hip, stylish and extremely comfortable. These are no exception...slipped them on right out of the box. They are worth every penny and will last for many seasons.

These are beautifully made shoes. I had never heard of Paul Green before, but I agree with the others, they are worth the money. I am normally at 10 in boots, but I got the 9½ in these. I have narrower feet, and even with socks, the fit of the 9½ was better. They are super comfortable and high quality. I am so glad that I got them.

Beautiful shoe - worth the price! Gorgeous, supple leather. Beyond comfortable. I'm a true 9.5 and have a rather wide foot. It fit perfectly and I can wear them for hours with no problem! I work in retail so I'm on my feet for hours at a time. Buy it!
