Comfortable, although not explicitly padded or thick soled. Stretched to my feet within a few days without much issue. First pair of non flats, love them so far! Am usually between a 8.5 and a 9, followed guidelines and ended up with a 9.5. I have pretty flat feet, so whatever arch support is included works for me.

These are the most comfortable flats that I have ever owned. They are sophisticated enough for the office but cute enough to wear out. They have the perfect amount of toe cleavage. And the leather interior keeps your feet dry so the shoes will not get stinky like most flats do! In my experience, these ran true to size. I sized up as a lot of reviewers suggested and they were way too big. Reordered in my usual size (7=37) and they were perfect.

I followed the other reviews and ordered a full size larger than my normal size, and they fit perfectly! These are the only flats I've ever purchased that I didn't have to break in, and the soft interior makes it so my feet don't get as sweaty as they would in my other flats. I live in the city and do a fair amount of walking, and was surprised that I didn't run into any problems with blisters, etc. I'm considering a second pair.

These are the best. I have been searching for more than a year and could never find a pair that was so simple, classy and comfortable. The leather is also gorgeous. As other reviews suggest, they do run small. I wear a true size 9 and fit perfectly in a 9 1/2. They are definitely worth the extra money.

Beautiful, and so well-crafted. A company that's been making dance shoes forever knows feet, as you would expect, and these are wonderful: very classy, butter-soft out of the box, with a comfy suede interior. The toe box is just deep enough to avoid the whole toe cleavage thing, too. These are definitely nice enough to be a formal flat, not just a run-around-town shoe. Just remember to buy a full size up from your normal street shoe size.

I ordered this a full size larger to replace a worm out pair of Cole Haan flats and they're perfect! Very comfortable, simple, and elegant. Highly recommend.

These are very comfortable and stylish in a minimalist, classic way. If you are used to wearing flats or barefoot style shoes, these are very comfy. They do run a full size small. I usually wear a 39 in European sizes, but I wear a 40 in this style. Do not let that deter you. The toe box was originally too snug, but he leather is very soft and loosened up within a day or 2. I wish Zappos sold them in other colors or textures, because I would definitely buy more!

I heeded the advice to buy a size larger and I am glad I did. At first I was worried they might be too big, but as I walked in them, they molded nicely to my feet. The first time I wore them, I got a small blister on the back of one foot. After that, the leather was like butter and it's now a second skin. I only wish they made this flat in more colors as I already have black and nude in other flats and cannot justify spending $100 on duplicate colors. Suede material is great on the feet. Simple, basic, and great with pants or a dress/skirt. Hands down, the best pair of flats I own.

Amazing style that fits comfortably, the heel is padded and overall is a great shoe. There is a part of the shoe that helps it stay on your foot...which I love. They are stylish flats that are great to wear anytime.

Excellent, classy ballet flat. I was looking for a plain, quality-made flat that can stand up to my active nature but still look sleek and fashioable for work (and is made well enough to take in for repair work rather than disposing). These shoes are it! So comfortable and beautiful, makes me feel and walk like a dancer. I am a solid size 9 and size up (US 10) fit me perfectly.

These are amazing! I ordered my true shoe size and they were a bit tight at first, but since they're leather I had a feeling they'd stretch and break in. A larger size would have been too big after they broke in. And yes, these did require a bit of break in, but after that period they are amazing - they even fit my wide feet, which is always hard to do!

The leather is top notch and the shoe is very comfortable. The leather in the toe box is a little stiff, but I think it will break in with time. I usually wear a 9.5 and I ordered a 40.5, the fit is just a very little bit snug.

Interestingly, on the Bloch website, size 9.5 corresponds with 40.5. So, I am returning these beautiful shoes, but ordering them again in a size up.

This shoe runs small. I ordered an 8 1/2 had to return for a 9 which is perfect! Very comfortable ballet shoe, I will buy more. I cannot say enough good about Zappos they are great company to do business with. Lightening fast shipping is magical!! love you , love you, Zappos

This brand (or just this shoe?) runs extremely small. I'm typically a 9.5 (which I first ordered), then just tried the 10.5, which was still too small. Now I'm going to order an 11 and 11.5. Never in my life have I even tried on anything larger than 10; most 10's are too big. I want this color grey, which is why I keep trying.

I adore these flats! They are well worth the money. They did feel tight immediately slipping them on, but they loosened and formed to my foot. I haven't tried this yet, but wearing thick socks and hitting the shoes with the blow dryer until hot to the touch and wearing them until cool would likely solve any tightness issues if the length and width are okay. I want every color!

The shoe looks great, but is way too small. I normally wear a 10, I ordered a 10.5, and it's still too small. Must return.

This is a beautiful shoe. It feels like a very high-end product at an inexpensive price. They are also packaged in a pleasing manner - they would make a great gift!

Very comfortable for a flat. This shoe has a soft, velvety inner sole with a little bit of cushion. I would definitely order a half size larger like another reviewer mentioned.

These flats are extremely soft and very comfortable. The first time I tried them on, they felt a little tight around my feet. However, they'll probably stretch out after a while and be perfectly snug. I'm pretty sure if I had gotten a size up, they would've been too big. I highly recommend these!

I have been wearing the Bloch Ballerinas as my daily staple for years. They balance style, quality, and comfort perfectly. They may seem like they run small, but I prefer the snug fit. I normally wear a US 7 (and my feet are narrow), and the 37 fits the best. It usually takes a couple days to break them in to my feet, and then they're fantastic.

Cute shoes. Basically comfortable but wish I had gotten a half size larger. I was wearing them in the house and didn't realize there was water on the floor and it stained the natural leather soles. So if you are wearing them around the house, stay on carpet! But they are comfortable and flexible soles, just a bit thinner than I am accustomed to.

I ordered these shoes in Arazzo which looked like navy on the website. I put these on and headed out and realized when I got out in the daylight that they were actually dark green. it is a nice shade of green but was not what I wanted and unfortunately I had already worn them so I couldn't return them. they are cute shoes and I think they will be comfortable after I break them in a bit. they were not as comfortable as my Bloch Fonteyns right out of the box. this brand tends to run small and I ordered 1/2 size larger than my other ballet flats. I wish they would not give shoes weird color names. I will think twice before I order a shoe with a color name that I am not sure of.

This is a nicely made shoe from a dance shoe company. Genuine soft leather and good construction. Unfortunately, my big toe curls upward, and the toe of the shoe just didn't have enough room for my foot. Also, they do run small. I am an 8 1/2 or 9 usually, and these in 9 1/2 were still a little small for me.

Cute and comfortable. Run a bit small -- I usually wear a 7 or 7.5 and had to exchange for an 8 in these. Wasn't sure how comfortable they'd be at first, but I wore them all day at work without a problem. Got several compliments on them. I like the rounded toe and bit higher cut -- just what I was looking for.
