I ordered this belt for my boyfriend for his birthday and he loves it. Very good quality, soft leather, and can be worn with anything formal to non formal! I would recommend this belt to about any guy looking for just a plain, classic, but long lasting belt. Fossil is great.

A great belt, and not my first from fossil. Quality leather and buckle. No obnoxious logos. If you're looking for a simple belt that's just right and not overly dressy, this is the one. All the belts I've had from them break in very nicely. My last Fossil belt still had tons of life left but needed to be replaced do to recent weight loss. I've ordered direct from Fossil before but it's way faster and easier from Zappos. Thanks gang.

Not sure what determines a nice belt, but I will say that this thing has been around my waste for a couple of years now. Goes with most, if not all my neutral colored outfits. Buckle seems to do a great job and the only wear and tear I see on it comes from the belt hole I use over and over. Everything else looks just like the day I first made the purchase.

Nice belt fits smaller than I thought

I was looking for a casual brown and black belt with a conventional design that I could wear in multiple settings. This does the job. It is not a formal belt, and has a wide band. I recommend sizing up. I'm a 38 waist and had to return my first order of size 38 belts. While it is common to buy a belt a couple sizes bigger than your waist, you never know when you buy online. In this case, there was barely enough leather tip to tuck through the first pant loop, and when you cinched the belt to secure it, there wasn't enough leather to grab on to. I just didn't like the feel. So, I re-ordered a size 40, and that did the job. How well these belts will wear, I don't know. The leather is not that supple, so they could crack or crease. That tends to be random anyway. I've had some quality belts wear out quicker than others. So, if you are looking for a casual belt for a decent price, this will do.

This belt fit well and I sag in my belt and the belt did not move from its standing point low along my waist. The leather looked sleek and sexy and something about a nice black leather belt gets me aroused.

I have had this belt for at least a decade. I try constantly to find something suitable to replace it, but nothing can come close to how this belt just fits me. The width is just right, and it does not stretch without being stiff. That is one problem that I always have with belts. Its drawback is that it is now starting to develop indention where the pant loops lay, so it is time to replace it.

Felt very cheap, I mean it was but you could tell it wasn't all real leather. Good value but you get what you pay for.

The belt is exactly as pictured. I got the one in black. The leather is smooth, however, it is so thin. This belt runs small so consider getting 3-4 sizes larger than your pant size. I am a size 32 (waist) so I ordered one in size 34 (belt) and it was way too small. Good thing Zappos' customer service is topnotch, the return process was easy and quick. I exchanged it to a size 36 but it was still too short. I can only use the last hole and it is pretty uncomfortable. I have no time to return it so I am just going to keep it as a backup (here's hoping that I lose a little weight. Ha ha). :(

Simple, leather belt, with leather clasps on the loop holding the insert loop and buckle in place. Feels like it will wear out or discolor as quick or more quickly as similar belts with snap fasteners on the buckle loop. The leather is not too thin, but it's very flexible. Not the best value out there, but for color and fashion, it qualifies as OK.

This belt is not made of smooth leather, but has a grain.

I have a size 36 and a size 38 belt at home. The size 38 fit so I ordered a size 38 in the Fossil Joe belt. When I received it, it was too short. I compared it to my other belts and even though it had 38 stamped on it it was the same size as the 36 and shorter than the 38. I am disappointed and returning.

I've worn this belt 3 times so far and the leather around the hole is already starting to crack and wear. It looked nice initially, but it wears easily from normal use. Wouldn't buy again.

Poor quality leather and poor quality buckle. I own a Fossil Blake Belt but lost enough weight to need another. The Blake is not offered by Zappos so I picked up the Fossil Joe Belt. The Joe Belt is a disappointment in comparison.
