I really like the ventilated sole of Geox shoes. Keeps my dogs cool! This pair has a neat feature, a very discreet, tiny expandable patch on either side of the top lace holes.

My current black dress shoes were horrible from a ventilation standpoint. I needed something that looked good but kept my feet cooler. After searching I decided on the GEOX. I read the reviews and most said they ran large and to get a 1/2 size down from what you normally buy. So I did that. It was the right choice. The shoes fit perfectly. The leather is soft and the shoe is very comfortable. After the first day of wearing them I removed them and my feet felt dry and comfortable. I'm very happy with these shoes and would recommend them highly.

I have several pair of Geox, excellent shoes for the money. Mine have held up very well over time and I will soon be ordering another pair. My favorite brand at this price point. The overall quality is excellent.

Don't be concerned because you may not be familiar with the brand, these shoes look, feel and wear well. For having such a sturdy heal support the shoes broke in after two wears. The heal support I am referring to is the top rim of the upper; it is much better than more famous brands. My office work sometimes takes me outdoors onto damp lawns. The shoes cleaned up well and the moisture has not affected the product. There is not a glossy sheen with these shoes so they look well with suit pants orf khakis. They run a bit large so you may want to back down a half size. Well worth the price.

My husband had a pair of Geox years ago that he loved, because we live in Florida and the sole is very breathable. The holes do NOT let water through. He couldn't find the brand again until now. He's a size 8, but the 41's were HUGE on him. He could get several fingers in the shoe with him. We're reordering for a size 40 and hope they fit, as that is the smallest size.

I also had to order these more than once til I figured out the correct size. I also do not know if the breathability is true, but since they're the only ones claiming it, i'll go with them. Otherwise, I'm a big fan. Iused to only buy ecco; now I'm all in with Geox (for the office).

Still too big. We'll try a different style. It's a shame, because he absolutely loved his old ones.

Initially, I had to send this shoe back twice before I got the correct size. it is a full European size larger than what I usually take. The construction of the shoe is quite good and the leather uppers are good; not great leather, but about what you'd expect in this price range. The styling is decent and appropriate for my office. The comfort is very good. Took less than 2 wearings to feel broken in. Shoe is light weight. I can't tell you if the breathable sole concept in this shoe is marketing hype or reality. It's still pretty cold where I am and so I haven't had a chance to wear on a hot day. my concern was that the little holes in the sole would allow water in. so far after about 10 wearings, this has not happened.

These were nice and light, although like other people have said, it's hard to tell how much the ventilation in the sole actually works. They were a little chunkier and stiffer than I was hoping for. The leather seems fine but is not overly soft or nice texture.
