I love these boots until I got the one wear out of them and they look like a pair of old boots completely creased everywhere and I mean everywhere. So disappointing.

I have worn Doc Martens in the past and I find them to run small. I usually buy a size larger and I still find them a bit snug. However, after reading all the reviews that suggested that the Stratford's run large I ordered a smaller size. I am a 8 1/2 and purchased the 8. The 8 was swimming on me! I had to send them back and get a size 7. That's a big jump from an 8 1/2 to a 7. I suggest if you purchase these boots go a size to a size and a half down. Happy footnote, however, (pun intended), Zappos sent me the exchange pair the next day. No hassles and worries. I find that Zappos always has amazing costumer service.

I love these boots! We are having a spell of serious winter weather here in New Jersey and these boots are up to the challenge of snow and ice. They are sure-footed and water-resistant - and they are comfortable, too.

I love these. I tried to do the classic Dr. Martens 1460 but I could never find the right fit with them. Maybe I'll figure it out someday, but for now I'll stick with these, which are amazing. I'd prefer this style with the option of a plain, non-floral lining, but I never wear them folded down anyway so it doesn't matter much. The leather is soft and broke in very quickly, probably within a few wears, and now they have become one with my foot. My Sole-mate, if you will. (Sorry, I just had to.) They don't have half sizes in this, so they didn't have a 10.5 that I'd normally go with. I got an 11, which at the time of this review doesn't seem to be an option anymore? At first I thought the boots were just a bit too big and maybe slightly on the wider side, but after the short break-in period they somehow didn't feel too big. I like the flat bottom on these, as well. It gives the boot a fresh look. Personally I felt the plastic removable insole wasn't doing much for me and actually made my feet hurt more than anything because there was zero shock absorption. I swapped them out for comfy insoles from another pair of shoes I have and now they're perfect. I feel the price is reasonable. They're leather and they feel like they should last. I do like the fact that there is a canvas lining and feel it adds to the durability. The lining and leather are sewn together well. And after wearing them now very often for at least four months, the last two spent stomping through snow and road salt, they still look great after a quick wipe.

Unfortunately this is going back. I strayed from what I know (the 1460) and this one just doesn't cut it for me. I knew the sole would be different, but was hoping that the fold-down cuteness would make up for it. Unfortunately, they're pretty stiff at the top, and were quite uncomfortable folded down. :(

These are great boots. Very comfortable and durable. This is my second pair in the last couple years and I recommend them.

Love love love these!! Always a Dr. Fan! Ordered a nine regular width which is my size. Seem a bit on the wide side but that's not a complaint. Love the softness of the leather. I have read some reviews about the "worn" look. I like that. They will last forever. I have a different pair of Dr. Marten boots I've had for about 15 years. Well worth the money.

I love this new style of doc martins! I used to swear by my docs but for awhile you could only get them with a big clownish toe. So happy to find these! And they are super comfy! Didn't need any break in time.

These boots are great! They're really like a leather high top sneaker, which makes them much more comfortable than normal boots. I put them on right out of the box (not even wearing good socks) and they felt good, but after walking in them for a couple of hours, they molded to me and became extremely comfortable! I usually wear a 7 1/2 wide and the US 7 fits perfectly. As another review said, they do crease right away but wear Docs was never supposed to look "shiny & new" anyway.

Love these boots! I wear a 7.5-8, so I ordered the 7. The fit is a tad wide but with thick socks they fit great! They broke in within a few days and feel like sneakers. Awesome boots for the price.

Exactly what I ordered, based on the descriptions and a few reviews. This is a flexible style boot, with a streamlined appearance. No way you're slipping them on without some major unlacing...but I knew that. Sizing -- I am a 7 1/2 US so I ordered the 7. I have a wide foot, but the 7 is roomy enough for a thick sock, yay.

Super cute and comfy boot. Got this for my daughter (high school senior) and she loves them. She wears them both ways (folded and laced to the top). I'm thinking about getting a pair for myself!

These are more like awesome leather sneakers rather than boots. They felt super comfortable but they are just too cool for me and had no support in the ankle. I sent them back because I know I'll never wear them, but I wanted to keep them. If you like leather high tops or super flexible boots, these are probably perfect for you.

These shoes are so light, comfy and the sole has the perfect amount of grip. I wear a size 9.5. I ordered 7 (womens 9) and there is just enough room for some thick wool socks. I guess this is something to consider if you are a size 9, however i have always worn a 7 in docs.

Love, love these boots. I have very flat feet,but also very narrow. These boots fit very well and are comfortable. Soft leather. Pretty floral inside fabric that looks cute when you fold them down a bit.

These boots are so light they feel like tennis shoes, which I love! They are a bit stiff out of the box, and will take a bit of breaking in, but that's expected and they are very comfy otherwise. They look really sharp and the leather is gorgeous. I got these for everyday wear, I wanted nice black lace up boots but I also didn't want something with a sole that slips easily on certain surfaces, or something that I would have to avoid mud puddles for. These are perfect. The sole is a rubber lattice pattern that grips just fine.

I love these Docs. They are lighter and less bulky than the classic with the same amount of cool. I need slip resistant shoes for work, and these do the trick without looking utilitarian.

You will find quality here in this boot. Nice leather that is getting to know me. I can wear my"struts" inside to support my arch. Dressy or casual, with the flowered inside to totally changes into a different shoe. Folding down leather is tough at first and softens as you wear them. I'm looking forward to our family reunion this May, so I can show them off. Thank you Doc Marten for using.quality materials in their products. I love these boots for several reasons: 1) good ankle and arch support, 2) comfortable, 3) stylish. Regarding point three, you can wear them laced to the top or laced halfway with the top folded down to show the cute lining. Either way, depending on how tightly I lace them, they help me where I have issues from a broken ankle. As to folding down the top to show the lining, this really gets noticed and tends to evoke a smile.

After having two bad online shoe purchases (not with Zappos) I finally got a great pair of boots. Very comfortable.

These boots are great and super comfortable! They have no real support built-in, but take an insole well. They should really show what these boots look like folded down. This is what makes them so cute. They have a black and pink flower pattern inside and can be worn with skirts, leggings, etc. and loose their slight military look. They are great shoes.

I have already used them for a whole day, cannot complain at all; these boots are fabulous! They are extremely comfortable, true to size. Great for any kind of weather!

I really like these boots. They are lightweight and comfortable. They also seem to run large as I have extra room in the toe, but they don't feel too large and can accommodate thick socks. And since they don't come in half sizes, I'd rather have them on the large side than too small. A perfect casual boot and I like the flower pattern inside, although I don't know if I'll ever wear them folded down. No arch support to speak of but that is not high in importance for me with how I'll wear this boot (not every day). They are rugged and feminine at the same time.
