I love this boot! The style is awesome & they are super comfy. I wear a US size 6.5 and after reading reviews decided to order a US 6. They fit perfect and have spare room for the insole that I've heard all Dr. Martens need. The only tiny drawback is that the shaft is a bit snug when pulling the boots on. Other than that these boots are great!!

About the size, as a standard size 7, I do think they run a bit large, but not too much. Wide, though. Also, right, they are not that easy to pull on due to narrow shaft. But after all, these are not supposed to be slide-in type of shoes. I do have high insteps, but I managed to get my feet in. I would assume it might get more easily when they are more broken in although they already sorta have that broken-in feel. I would say, if you are regularly a half size, you might want to get a half size down. Stylewisely speaking, they are pretty biker style boots. So, if you're looking for something very feminine, you might want to look away.

Love these boots! They are so comfortable and I've been wearing them non-stop since I got them! Easy to wear with anything - jeans, skirts & tights - definitely one of my new favorite pair of shoes. As always, I ordered them one day and got them the next.

I love these boots! I'm normally a size 8 1/2 so I ordered an 8 because 9's are always way too big. The 8 ended up being very big so I returned them for a 7 and they fit perfectly. The customer service lady was awesome!

I am a size 37 medium width or between a B and C (37N in Birkenstock closed toe, 37R in Birkenstock sandals, Prada, Worishofer, Louboutin, Stuart Weitzman) and I take a size UK 4 (or US 6) in these boots with room for a size 36 Birkenstock natural half sole which is thicker than the Birkenstock blue half sole). Without the half sole there is too much volume in the shoe and your heel slips. (I do not have dainty or slender ankles, heels or feet). I think it runs bigger than the older Doc Martens). They are very comfortable and quite warm with the insole. I wore them for the first time last night and struggled for under three minutes to slide them on (as I could not find my boot hook (a hook used for riding boots). I did use a tall shoe horn. This morning, I slipped them on with no need for any implement - just tugged on the strap on the back of the shoe. I do have a flexible high arch, but this morning, no acrobatics or special implements needed. Style is understated motorcycle chic. Quality is a good deal given the price but I would have been happy to pay more for a stiffer leather that will last longer. I did treat them with a high quality weather proofer (Obernaufs LP). Buckle hardware looks decent. I will wear these more than fashionable motorcycle boots that cost much more because of the laid back, utilitarian vibe. I am assuming that these will stretch and already have a Doc Marten insole as a back up measure. They look great with leggings or skinny jeans.

These boots are amazing! I wear a u.s. size 7...always. I read reviews that said they run big, so I ordered a u.s. size 6. They fit perfectly. I have worn them straight for 3 days since they arrived. The leather is so soft, no breaking in necessary. Great boot, and I have received many compliments.

These boots will ruin all your other shoes' lives. The question will not be "what do I wear with the Meg boots," but instead "what do I do with all my other shoes?" If you love Doc Martens, then these are the perfect boots for you. Also, do not be put off by the narrow looking ankle. I wear a US 10/UK 7, and upon first try-on, was a bit nervous that I could not get the boot on. But by using the Pull-on Tab, pesto! These are very gorgeous boots, you will not regret the purchase.

Yes they run half a size large but I can wear heavy socks with them and they are great. I will buy another pair.

These are super cute boots! I was on my feet a ton the first time that I wore them and they were very comfortable. Like the other reviewers, I had a heck of a time getting them on and off the first few wears, but the leather is loosening up. They are great boots for the price.

I love these boots! I needed boots that could transition from light work outside to inside. These boots fit the bill and look great at the same time. They are very comfortable and great quality. These boots are not heavy and they are wide enough to wear thick socks but they do not feel uncomfortable wearing normal weight socks. I normally wear a size 8, medium width but I sized down to a US size 7. I am very happy and will purchase another pair of Dr. Martens.

Love my Meg biker boots! They were tough to get on the very first wear, but once on were very comfortable. Look great with both leggings and skinny jeans!

I love these boots! I echo what others say about the narrow neck making to work to get them on, but once they 're on you won't want to take them off.

I love these shoes! I normally wear a 7½-8, but in these I wear a 6. I wear orthotics and thick socks because, while the opening is narrow, the shoes themselves are very roomy. They are very comfortable. I have worn them with skinny jeans and a short skirt and tights. These are really cute shoes.

I absolutely love my Dr. Martens Meg Biker Boots! I am normally a 9½ to 10 and buy 10s for Boots - always. These were absolutely huge in a size 10. I returned them for a 9 (no half sizes in these) - and once on, they fit perfectly. The thing that scared me a bit was that the sleeve was so tight I thought I was not going to be able to get them on. But these boots and I have adjusted to each other. It took a few wears - and just pulling them on over thin socks before they stretched out a bit so I could pull them on with ease. For this type of look - you will not regret this purchase. Enjoy! For arch support, I throw in a Dr. Scholl's - and they are super comfortable, great with my jeans - and even sometimes with a maxi dress if I am in that kind of a mood.

I like this boot a lot. I normally wear US 8 1/2 sometimes US 9 depending on the brand of shoe. I ordered the UK 6 (US Women's 8) because i read all the reviews saying it runs large. It definitely does run big. it's a little roomy for me right now but if i wear a somewhat thicker sock it fits perfectly. if you have a wide foot it might be difficult to slip on the boot. my foot is not wide or skinny and it is pretty easy to slip on.

Love these boots - I wear a 6 or 6.5 but the 6 was good! A little tough to get on at first but after wearing 3 or 4 times, the leather gives more and it just get's easier. I love these boots - jeans, skirts and walking the dog on both snowy and sunny days!

Very comfortable boot, great cushioning. Have worn them three days in a row! Was in New York for work and had 5 people ask me where I bought them. I am a size 8 and ordered an 8 but do need to wear a thick sock. I ordered the brown and the black but am exchanging the black as the shaft on the left boot had a pucker and was very difficult to pull on. Zappos is the best at return, exchanges, etc. All other businesses should take note of their incredible success due to their awesome customer service!

These were bought as a gift for a friend for Christmas...she absolutely loves them. Says the fit is slightly on the larger side (no more than a half size), and overall comfort is excellent. And after a few weeks of wear seem to be conforming to her foot...and if I do say so myself, the appearance/quality of the leather is quite nice...but what else would you expect from Doc Martens.

I bought these boots from the store in Boston 3 weeks ago and I've worn them every other day since. They are super comfortable. I'm a 9, and the 9 fit perfectly. While you can't just slip into them (you need to use the tab on the back to pull the boot up as you push into it), they are not hard to get on. I highly recommend them and while owning both the black and the brown seems a bit extreme, I haven't ruled it out.

I just received my boots today. I'm usually an 8, but these were giant! So I'm ordering a 7. They were super easy for me to get on so I don't understand the other reviews saying they are super hard to pull on. I can't wait to get my 7s and rock them about town.

I wanted a pair of sturdy, yet fashion forward, 'walking' boots that I'd be able to wear on an upcoming weekend trip to NYC. The length is perfect for my narrow sz. 11 foot, but the boots are too wide for me. Fat socks help. Docs are unisex in sizing, so they are wide enough to accomodate a man's foot. They are indeed sturdy and very comfortable. Kinda clunky, but I wanted that look-it's cool.

These boots are so amazing! Although I purchased them from the actual Dr Marten store I thought I would leave a review here. I agree with most people saying they do feel a little big, however they are so unbelievably comfortable. I found them really easy to get on, it's just the way you position your foot. I ordered a size 5 UK (US 7) they are a little roomy but I prefer it that way. They aren't humongous, I wouldn't have gone a size smaller if I had the option. They are so stylish and you can honestly wear them with anything, dress up or dress down.
