Love. I love Dr. Marten's, and these are a nice way to dress up your work boots. The fact that I can wear them all day and into the night without any discomfort is a huge advantage.

I have been looking for the perfect all-the-time boot that can go with jeans, leggings or a skirt, and the hunt is finally over. These boots are just what the Dr. ordered! Stylish but not too flashy, sexy but not useless, and most importantly, built for long lasting support. I saw, I ordered, I received one day later and fell in love. They were a bit stiff as most shoes tend to be fresh out of the box, but I laced them up and wore them for the rest of the night and I can honestly say that these are the most comfortable boots that I have ever worn. I am more than happy with my purchase, and think all businesses should be more like Zappos.

These boots are the perfect contrast of tough & feminine. They're clunky yet sleek and the ribbon laces give it a little something extra. I usually wear a 7-7.5 & ordered a 7 because they don't come in half sizes. Some boots pinch my feet but the width on these is perfect!

I love my collection of Dr. Martens and these are quickly becoming a favorite! Very pretty boot that fits well and is the envy of my coworkers. My only complaint are that the ribbon laces, while very pretty, are not at all practical and were a pain to pull out. Other than that I love this boot and wish it came in more colors!

These boots are absolutely amazing! They are super comfortable and durable, Doc Martens last forever. The first night I wore them out I got so many compliments on them. They're some sexy boots! I would highly recommend this product to anybody.

Love, love, love these boots. I also have them in black and was so delighted to find out they were available in brown. So sturdy. I get tons of compliments on them.

I love these boots I am not so much into the ribbon lace, but regular laces are provided, and miss the "DOC" yellow tab on back of boot. But these are minor complaints. These boots are are very Rock & Roll, I LOVE them and they are much easier to break in that the doc's of yesteryear (no blisters!) bcs they comfortable right away. I wear them all the time! Love them!

I love, love, love these boots. The ribbon laces add a little glam to your rock. I can wear these with jeans, skirts and dresses and have gotten about a billion compliments. Fit true to size and so comfy, didn't even need to break in. I have muscle calves and they gave me the perfect amount of coverage with no straining!

I have had these boots for over a year now. I keep meaning to switch out the ribbon laces for the standard ones (which came with the boots at the time - I read in these comments that's no longer the case), but I always forget about it until I need to go somewhere and can't be bothered. The ribbon laces have held up just fine, though they've twisted a bit so they don't lay flat and smooth. I could probably adjust them by re-lacing, but again, can't be bothered. The leather is soft and flexible, and I haven't experienced any cracking. I did get the boot balsam and rub that on when the leather dries a bit (which makes it look a little greenish gray), and it always comes back to life. I don't usually wear pants that can be tucked into the boots, so I very rarely fold the top down, but it's very easy to tie the laces so that the flaps stay put. The buckle on the back helps make sure the flaps don't catch on anything, but when it's not folded down the buckle clinks with every step, a bit like spurs. I do find it a bit annoying. I did notice that the Aimilita style only has a D ring on the heel, so if the jingling would bother you, I'd suggest that style instead. As soon as I got these I switched the inserts out for Superfeet, so I can't speak to the support, but in general I work at a standing desk and I find these boots very comfortable to wear all day. I love the extra details in the stitching, and they are super durable. As I said I've had them for over a year and I know I won't have to replace them anytime soon.

I have owned many many pair of Docs (both shoes and boots) over the years. These were adorable but HUGE! They felt 2 sizes too big. Sadly-back they went. Note: the buckle on the back of the heel does stick out a bit and jingle.

I bought a size 6 in the cherry darkened red color. I usually wear a 6 or 6.5 and since there are no half sizes, I went with a 6 and the fit perfect. The footbed is roomy and I can wear these all day. The color is more of a dark berry/wine color than the picture shows, but they are still very cute. My only complaint is that the leather tab with the buckle on the bottom ripped off only after a couple of wears. I don't intend on ever wearing these folded over, so it wasn't a deal breaker, but I was still disappointed in the lack of quality on this part of the boot. I re-attached the buckle to the top/back of the boot and they look great. So, if you want to wear these folded down, then I wouldn't even buy them, because the tab will more than likely rip off. But otherwise, I love these "Barbie combat boots."

The boots are mostly what I expected from a Doc Martin. I am surprised to say, I do have a few complaints. Most importantly, the laces are too short! I guess if your legs are the width of a pencil you could pull the laces very tight, but for me, I don't have enough length to tie a bow at the top. Second, the size seems large. I tried to order this model of boot a few years ago and it was too small, and they didn't have it in a size up. So I got the size up this time around and they are roomy. Still comfy, though! Finally, one boot (but not the other) really digs into the back of my ankle, where there are seams inside to create the flap with the buckle. I think this will stop as I break them in. Overall, these are great boots. Warm, waterproof, and I feel confident trudging through snow and ice.

My daughter absolutely loved her boots. She gets tons of compliments on them and they look cute with jeans or shorts. I originally ordered them a size smaller like many had suggested but the were too small. The ribbon laces helps give them that extra girly look. The boot is actually more of a red color than the coral color you see here. It is very attractive. There appears to be some arch support but it could be better.

I have wanted to purchase a pair of Doc Martens boots for two years but always talked myself out of it. I needed a pair of warm comfortable boots to wear in Washington, DC for the presidential inauguration. I had no reason not to so I brought them. The temperature was in the 30-40s, and my feet were warm, even with just one pair of sock. I wear a size 7½. Since they did not have half sizes I purchased a size 8. That was a perfect fit. I also have wide feet so the size 8 was perfect. If your size is in between go up one size. I received numerous compliments on the boots. I wore them with my skinny jeans. They are sexy! They are the most comfortable boots that I ever wore. Buy them.

I have been lusting over these boots for a long time and finally decided to treat myself. I was so excited when they arrived, but immediately realized these boots were way too big for me. I tried both boots on with a very thick pair of wooly socks, but my feet were still sloshing around in there and the height was a bit taller than I realized it would be. These would be very cute for a younger person, but I feel that with the extra shaft height, they are a bit young for me. The style is fantastic, the workmanship is wonderful, and Zappos, as always, is awesome. I am returning these boots because they were just too big. I recommend going at least a half size down when you order.

These are the most beautiful boots I have ever seen. But they are extremely difficult to get on and off - and they don't go around my calves at the top. They came laced with ribbon laces and a spare set of regular laces. Neither pair of laces goes more than halfway up the boot, so I'm not sure what they're expecting you to do. I tried lacing the bottom half with the ribbons and the top half with the other laces, but that looked stupid. It looked worse in reverse. So, no clue what that's about. Practical, they are not. But wow are they glorious to behold. The red was more dusky rose, which was a plus in my opinion. But they're super narrow in the footbed, and have no give at the tops to close around my calf (17"). I've never been so sad to send a pair of boots back, but back they went.
