These are great, super-comfy work shoes if you have a casual workplace. I normally wear a size 8, and these size 8s fit perfectly. My feet are medium width, but slightly wider at the ball of the foot, and the Epic accommodated that without looking clunky. I also appreciate the adjustable strap and the fact that the heel was comfortable from Day 1 (no band-aids necessary!)

I loved the look of the Danskos I had ordered, but they didn't fit my orthotics well. The customer service rep at Zappos suggested I try these and they were perfect! In addition to fitting the orthotic, they are lightweight and do not look bulky. Super comfy!

I have only worn these for a short time but found them to be comfortable and well made. The toe box was not as high as it appeared to be the picture, which caused a very slight pressure on the tip of my great toe. Still overall, I like them a great deal.

Very comfortable, lightweight, timeless style. Comfortable right out of the box. No plantar pain, good arch support without feeling like you have a ball under your arch. The heel height was lower than I expected, but this does not stop it from being a cute, professional work shoe.

I was looking for a comfortable black dress shoe to wear at the end of my pregnancy to accommodate my swollen feet. These definitely do the job, thanks to the handy velcro straps. They are completely adjustable which I love, since I won't have to squeezing a swollen foot into somewhere it doesn't fit. I think the style is very cute as well and I am able to wear these with black leggings, skinny jeans, skirts/dresses, etc. The support is about right and they are definitely comfortable for walking and standing. I definitely recommend these shoes!

I usually wear out a pair of Mary Janes every year or two, and these were this year's replacement. I do not buy Mary Janes for their fashion quotient - they are my workhorse every day shoes that are mainly for comfort during my urban commute, but I do not want them to look ugly either. These fit the bill - they are not too clunky looking as one might expect from Hush Puppies. I can wear these with pants and tights/skirts. The shoes were comfortable from day one with no rubbing or pinching. Also I tend to scuff my shoes easily - just something about the way I walk - and in about a month they still look like new despite wearing them a fair amount.

I've owned this shoe in size 8ee for several months now. I had a really hard time deciding whether or not to keep them. The whole point of me wanting a pair of Mary Jane was to have comfy shoes, not just shoes that look comfy. On the plus side, they do fit my hard to fit feet which are extra wide in the toes and very narrow at the heels. This isn't an uncomfortable shoe for me for running light errands or for a walk down the street to the dog park with my dog. These shoes just aren't as comfy as I want them to be. If I know I'll be doing a lot of walking or standing, I'll wear another pair of shoes. I'm really not sure what about these sucks away my comfort after a couple hours or so. It may be the way the shoe is balanced or it might be the way my feet are built. What I do know, these are heavier than they look in the picture. I wouldn't mind the extra weight so much, except that I'm not sure what the point of it is- the sole is thick but hard and inflexible and pretty sparse on shock absorbing. It does seem like a very stable shoe. If stability is one of your big issues due to health, over-pronating, injury, etc., then this pair might be exactly what you need. I think I need less stability. I put in gel sole inserts which help somewhat with my cushioning issues but really not enough to make it an "any day, all day" shoe for me, which was what I was looking for in a Mary Jane in the first place. So, here is my best advice- if you can fit into most shoes, and are looking for comfort, give these a miss. I'm sure you can find a more foot-friendly sole in a similar style here on Zappos. If you do have wide V shaped feet like mine, or narrow ones, or need stability, then this is at least a pair to consider. You might not be able to find a better fitting Mary Jane. I couldn't. When I do find a more comfortable pair that fit my weird feet, these are going straight to Goodwill.

In all honesty I would never have bought these if I had realized that the straps were Velcro, but once I got over my indignation, I fell in love with them. I'll buy another pair when these wear out.

Fits true to size. I wear a 6.5 and they fit fine. They were comfortable, but just not the extreme amount of comfort that I was looking for. I will be returning them.

No padding for ball of the foot. Thin piece of leather, that is it. Small egg sized pad for heel, only. Sent this shoe back.

Let's be honest here...if I could be wearing heels I would be wearing them. But, having had back surgery 6 weeks ago and having terrible leg and foot nerve pain, that's out. I wear a 7D or EE depending on the shoe and brand. I have ordered about 20 pairs of shoes and sneakers in different styles and brands over the last 3 weeks now that all my previous surgery shoes are out. I've experienced tears and frustration with shoe after shoe...until these. Right out of the box and on my feet and they felt wonderful. Beautiful wide toe box for my wide feet, cushy springy heel. I could walk! Without pain! I honestly almost cried. I'm not going to lie and say they are the most stylish shoes but they are so well made and I can't wait to wear them to work. The strap is on velcro and is really long, so I imagine those who need to adjust more and allow more room due to a high arch are able to without a strap cutting them. I wish these came in tons of colors because I would order them. Overall, excellent shoe. Thank you Hush Puppies! Also, thank you Zappos. After a mistake where the wrong size was shipped these replacements were sent next day, in time for me to wear to work. Super customer service!

This shoe is aptly named! It's truly epic in comfort. I ordered these because I needed a comfortable shoe to walk New Orleans during a vacation there. I have worn them almost every day since I got them. Cute, easy, light, soft, comfy, fabulous! If you have achy joints or problem feet, or wide feet, you'll love them. Wish Zappos carried them in sizes smaller than 6.

I love these shoes. I bought them for traveling with a lot of walking in mind. They were perfect. Lots of wiggle room for my toes without the shoe slipping off. Comfortable rubber sole adds cushion as you walk. Nice leather uppers helps keep your feet comfortable. Still my go to shoe for all day wear. Plus the free next day shipping really helped me because I was traveling in two days.

I love these shoes! This is my second pair. They walked me all over Europe. I bought a new pair because I wore the other pair so much that they actually did wear down a bit (after four years) and lost some of their epic cuteness. They are a great value!

I love these shoes. They fit well and were comfortable right away, without socks. I have a narrow foot, and the strap that velcros over is almost too long, but it works. They're very nice looking, seem to wear well, and are very versatile.

Solid, basic Mary Janes. They were a smidge smaller on my feet than most shoes this size are on me, but not so small I couldn't wear them. The heel is rigid and would probably give me a blister if I wore them without socks.

I have very narrow feet, particularly in the heel. And often narrows are still too wide. These are quite possibly the most comfortable shoes straight out of the box that I have ever put on. And they really are narrow...not in label only!

I've only worn these once, but they are so comfortable! Ordering from Zappos was a pleasant experience.

These shoes are super comfortable. I have a wide foot so I ordered an 8 WW (EE). I usually order a 9, but these fit perfectly. I just wish the velcro strap was shorter - although, it's nice for anyone with a high instep.

Great shoes! I work in a chemistry lab. I'm on my feet all day and these shoes are so comfortable. They also are great shoes to wear with a skirt and tights.

I love it! 7w is okay...I can manage but I wanted more room for 16 hours flight so I'm replacing it for 7ww. So cute! Just in case extra wide width is not available, I probably will keep the 7w. Lots of kudos for Zappos customer service staffs. I really like them.

Very comfortable shoe! I am not a fan of the velcro on the strap but the fit makes up for it. I usually wear a 9WW but in this shoe I ordered a 9W and it was pretty much a perfect fit.

Love 'em! I wear a 6.5w or 7w so I ordered 7w to wear with socks. Next time I would try a 6.5w. Very comfortable for walking and dressy enough for dress slacks.

I usually need wide shoes and these are a little wider than usual, but super comfortable. They look "comfortable" but not casual. I'm very pleased.
