I am a confessed Bootaholic. Like the look of these boots and that's about all. I am an equestrian and know Jodhpur type boots. No pair that I have are this ungiving or tight. The leather is lesser quality and not at all flexible making it hard to slide your foot into without any give. Super skinny opening for even a normal width foot and calf. Pass on these!

Unfortunately, the boots are too tall for my legs, cutting into the back of my knees. They are also really hard to take off.

I was disappointed, these do not look as nice in person. Online they looked richer and more lush, in reality they looked like inexpensive boots, and they are not. The calf was too big, as well. Still love Zappos, but I'm shipping these back.

I'm between an 11 and 12, so I got these boots in size 12 so that I can wear them with socks. Unfortunately, the 12 was like an 11 (or smaller) and I could hardly get my foot in, even with no socks! The style is fine, very simple. The pebbled leather makes them look a little cheaper than they actually are, but they are probably easier to care for than a richer looking leather.

Finding a proper fitting boot proves difficult every season and unfortunately these did not make the cut. The shaft is quite narrow and not at all stretchy despite a generous amount of elastic built in. I was unable to even get my foot all the way in due to limited stretch so I honesty can not speak as to the comfort of the foot bed. More disappointing though was the quality of the leather for the price point and brand. Stiff and pebbled, looked and felt rather "cheap." Not at all plush leather one may hope for in this price range.

Very disappointed in the look of this boot - especially from Cole Haan! The leather has a pebbled look that is most unattractive. These are going right back!

Got the wide shoe, but it feels narrow. The back cuts into the knee quite badly (I am 5'5"), will be returning.

**THESE ARE NOT LEATHER!** Even though the information states that these are leather, they are not. Imagine my surprise when I shelled out this much money that are not even leather. It is, rather, that fake material that's been stamped to mimic a real leather grain. Also, I think the fit stinks. I ordered 10 wide, and while the footbed was comfortable and wide enough (kudos to the Nike technology footbed), the calf itself was skin tight. That made these rather uncomfortable to wear over a pair of pants, as they were incredible difficult to get on and off, since they don't have a zipper, just those elastic side panels. My calves, at their widest point, measure 15.25 inches. Because the calves were so tight, it made the ankle portion of the boot gap and fold in very unattractive ways. If you have very slim calves, I assume you won't have this problem. The boots are a great height, hitting just below the knee. Overall, very VERY disappointed with these boots. I was expecting nice buttery leather for that price! Instead, I got overpriced plastic boots with skin tight calves. These will be going back!

You must understand that there are no additional openings on this boot beside the hole at the top. There is no zipper or finger loops to assist you getting the boot onto your foot. I literally twisted my ankle trying to get it on. And I still couldn't get my foot into this boot. This is the most bizarre designed boot I have ever seen as you can't actually get it on. It's a shame because it was beautiful and Cole Hann is one of my favorite brands.

I love the color and look of this shoe. I just wish I could wear it. I thought I purchased a boot with a wide calf. I could not even get this boot on. My niece has normal size legs could get it on but found it tight on her calf. It is sad to see such a gorgeous shoe go back. If you have large calves this is not the boot for you.

I really wanted these boots to work! They were impossible to pull on and were too tight around my calves. I do have athletic calves, but they are not huge. I thought the elastic panels would create a nice fit, but no! They were painful as they squeezed my calves so tight.

Very disappointed in the comfort and material. I own several shoes and boats from Cole Hahn and this boat is not the normal product for the company.
