I have a very difficult foot to fit. I wear a 2A shoe, but I have a 4A heel. But these boots fit like a glove on my foot, but I feel they run a tad bit small. This is a wonderful boot. Excellent workmanship. Great arch support. Styling couldn't be better. They look great with skinny jeans or with a mini skirt. They really compliment my legs! My feet feel good the minute I put them on, until the minute I take them off. I can wear them all day. Well worth the price.

These are the perfect black booties. With skinnies tucked in, or boot cuts hanging over, jeans look great. I've also worn them with a dress a few times - depends on the style of dress but they really go with everything. Perfect for work, super comfy.

Like most of Cole Haan shoes, these are very comfortable and great looking. Zappos service and delivery is fantastic.

Fantastically comfortable and stylish for the heel height. Great quality. Wish the opening at ankle was just a little narrower, but that's a minor quibble. I went down half a size from what I usually wear in Cole Haan, but it probably depends on whether you'll be wearing these with bare feet, tights, or socks.

These boots are so comfortable. Just the right size heel to wear with bootcut jeans and feel like slippers. Love them!

These boots are really comfortable and look great with dress pants or jeans. I find Cole Haan shoes to run narrow most of the time so I ordered a wide in my regular size and they fit perfectly. When I saw them online I wasn't sure I would like them, but when they arrived, my expectations were actually exceeded. Great boot!

These boots are amazing! I am very hard to please when it comes to shoes - I return more than 90% of the shoes I order online, and about 75% of the shoes I buy in the store. These meet all my expectations: comfort, style, and quality. I went up 1/2 size, which is what I generally do for boots in case I want to wear thick socks. They fit perfectly - no problem areas whatsoever. They are non-skid, and are not super loud when I walk (no loud clinking on the floors!). The heel is a good height. They look great under dress pants and with skinny jeans or even leggings. I'm sure if I wanted to, I could even wear them with tights and a skirt. The leather is top quality, as I'd expect for this price. I love them so much I bought a second pair in a different color, despite the pain it will cause my wallet. Highly recommended!

I realize that I'm going against the grain here, but while these shoes are definitely great looking and HIGHLY versatile, they are not my most comfortable boots. The Nike technology does make the inside quite cozy, so I have to clarify that it may be that I'm just not used to wearing heels at this height. However, by the end of my very stylish day I'm so ready to take these off and prop up my poor feet. I bought my regular size and they fit perfectly. Good sub for Newbury boots if you don't want to spring for that option.

I got the wide and they fit well. However, I was disappointed with the style. I like wearing short boots with dresses and skirts but these can only be worn with long pants. The top is so wide that it looks strange. Not elegant at all.

I love Cole Haan Shoes! But they run small. I wear a solid 7.5 in everything, but have to order an 8 with Cole Haans.

Very comfortable. Love the style. Color makes them unique. Run a bit small. I usually wear 7 in most other shoes or boots but always 7 1/2 in Cole Haan.

Very nicely made. Should be very comfortable but running small especially for feet with high arch. I have to return.

I love Cole Haan shoes in general, and these are no exception. While I wouldn't have minded a slightly different brown tone (in some pictures they look more red, and in some, more plain brown I would say they are more of a general brown), or a slightly different leather finish (these are sort of pebbled, rather than smooth), the shoes are good looking and very comfortable. For this quality of shoe and comfort, I'm willing to pay Cole Haan prices! I'll be wearing them for at least three seasons, if not four.

These shoes are making me crazy. Very cute style, however, my usual size 8.5 was extremely tight in the toe box and felt short. I ordered a 9 and it fits better there but is slipping a bit in the heel. They are getting one more day of trying them around the house before the decision in made to keep or return. Cole Haan makes a beautiful shoe but their sizing is erratic at best.

I have been wearing these while sitting at my desk since they arrived. They are just as cute as pictured in the video. This is my first attempt at trying an ankle bootie which I might wear with skirts or skinny jeans. The fit is a bit more snug than I would ordinarily like however I know that CH leather will stretch with wear so I hesitate to size up. The next couple of days wearing them around the house will tell the tale. Hopefully they will work out and I will decide to keep them. The leather is soft and good quality. The stacked heel is easy to wear.

I took a chance on these as a girl who doesn't generally like wearing heels, but I am SO GLAD I did because they are super cute and go with everything and they are comfortable enough that I can stomp around New York City all day and not be in excruciating pain. I do wish the ankle opening was a wee bit smaller, but overall, love 'em.

I love these boots! Outstanding quality and my feet are easy to get in/out of the boots. The only downside is the balls of my feet get sore after I where them for a long time. Overall, I recommend this to everyone!

Very stylish and very comfortable! I would definitely consider purchasing other Cole Haan footwear. just a touch snug around the ball of foot, but thank goodness I got wides and after one wearing, they fit perfect.

Love my new boots. So comfy and high style. Almost returned my 9M for a 9W because initially my toes felt squeezed. But they stretched out quickly are are my fave, go-to boots!

I am obsessed with these boots! I ordered them in the caramel brown color, and they were so comfortable and cute that I also picked them up in black. For a shoe with a heel, they're very comfy- and they're a classic style that goes with anything. I wear them with bootcut jeans- I don't think they are the type of style meant to be worn with a skirt or with skinny jeans. My only slight disappointment is that the brown ones got scuffed easily, and I haven't found a leather protector that will not darken the color. Get these boots- you won't be disappointed!

Cute and really comfy for a nearly three inch heel. I went a half size up so I could wear socks. It does have a wide opening at the ankle but I found it to be quite flattering. Got lots of complements!

This is a gorgeous ankle boot with excellent craftsmanship. I have been searching for a cowboy-style ankle boot for over a year, and Cole Haan's modern take is a standout. I ordered the Sequoia color. It has a shiny, almost crystalline, glaze that isn't easily discernible from the pictures online and contributes to a dressier look. Since ankle boots cut off your leg at the narrowest part, they have a tendency to make the leg look shorter and stockier -- but not this boot! The wide, straight opening flatters the leg and modernizes the cowboy style. The heel height is ideal for both day and night looks. Comfort-wise, the boot leaves something to be desired. I found the same problem as other reviewers; the wide opening allows the ankle to wobble and move up and down as you walk. For me, this is not a deal-breaker, but I will have to get used to walking in them. The toe-box is a little tight, although I expect the leather to stretch with time. The Nike Air padding was not particularly noticeable to me -- I will probably be adding a pad for the ball of my foot and an arch support pad for my high arch. In short: City meets country. Outstanding style makes up for average comfort.

My boots just arrived and they are gorgeous. I purchase a lot of Cole Haan shoes as they are very comfortable and fit my narrow foot well. While these boots fit well in the toe, the heel does slip a bit, but not so much that I will return. My heel is especially narrow, so I've learned to live with it. Anyway, great boot, great style and very comfortable.

I had to return these boots and order a half size larger. They are also a little narrow in the toe box. They are beautiful and the perfect height, worth returning for the larger size.

So love Cole Haan. My closet is full of these beautiful, comfy,high quality shoes and boots! However, these boots are totally disappointing: I have tried repeatedly to wear them. The last is not the same as my other CH boots. I even tried half size difference in hope of a fit. Also the leather isn't CH quality as I have had. So very disappointed.
