This shaper is awesome! I have a small waist and larger hips - this worked and felt wonderful. Initially the fabric kind of feels like paper but do not let this dissuade you as this new technology worked very well - no movement or discomfort. I usually buy a larger size in such shapers to reduce the uncomfortable compression but in this one you do not need to.

This is a comfortable, light weight smoothing shaper which doesn't roll up or constrict. The best I've ever tried... I bought a second one. I use it to hide my insulin pump and it works just great.

I wore these at my wedding - my dress had a really low back, so I needed spanx that would smooth out my whole butt but not extend above my belly button. These worked great - really comfortable, held my tummy in just a bit and shaped my butt nicely.

This is a nice option if you want smoothing. Not a lot of firming, but more than Skimmies. It's not uncomfortably tight. I went up a size to avoid the back fat at the top edge. I ordered a large and wear a 8/10, I have a "menopause middle" Legs stay in place.

I really love the Spanx thinstincts shaper. It is indeed thin yet holds in your tummy area very well and trims your butt and thighs. Very comfortable as well. My only tiny issue is that the top does have a tendency to roll down a bit. However, the leg potion stays put and there are no bulges between it and the rest of the thigh area. I'm 5' 5" and weigh approx. 130lbs and bought the small.

Ordered this to wear under a dress for a wedding following vacation week. Put on a couple of extra pounds and these did this trick. Comfortable and lightweight. Wore to an outdoor wedding in July and they were not hot at all! I'd highly recommend these for that little boost in your shape!

Absolutely fantastic! Very thin, yet supportive. I got the skinny britches mid thigh shapers and this pair was way better. I wore under a Macy's Rachel Roy jumpsuit and you could not see them at all. No banding lines on the thighs like other pairs of Spanx. A good, supportive fit for those needing Spanx to go under a thinner material.

These are just long enough down the thigh to not roll up. I love that they sit flat. There is no seam or hem (or thigh banding) visible under almost-sheer tights (very wicked). The waist is not low-rise enough for my jeans; but can be encouraged to sit a little lower without puckering, or can be pulled up higher. I am a tall small and appreciate that I am not controlling fat (like some) but am confining loose skin, after weight-loss. Yes, I wore them, comfortably, under tights in the 117° heat in Vegas!

Runs large; ordered 2 larges, but as you wear them they start to stretch out. This time I ordered a medium and although they were a little tight when I first wore them, they are now a perfect fit!

Good fit for guys. Nice thin fabric does not make you overheated. No rolling at waist or thighs. Jeans slide on easily. Holds in the problem areas and helps keep a flat front. I have a 31-32 inch waist and the medium fits well.

I expected a bit more from Spanx. The fabric was thin and did only very light shaping. I can't believe it will hold up well. I have had better shapers that are still going strong after 5 years. Returned this, still looking.

I am 5'5" and 155-160lbs, size 10 bottoms. I was a size 18/20 from my late teens thru age 30 which is why I now need thigh shapers when wearing dresses. I am in search of a thigh shaper that basically just keeps the wiggle and jiggle at bay on a hot day with out being an uncomfortable compression garment that I have to struggle to get on/off. This seemed like what I was looking for. It's thin, stretchy and easy on/off w/moderate smoothing. I tried this in a L & XL. The fabric near the waist/tummy felt papery. It was weird. If I was to keep one I may have kept the L as I feel like it would stretch out once worn a few times. The biggest reason for not keeping this shaper was the awful swooshing sound when i walked! it happened with both sizes so having a tighter or looser fit made no difference when it came to that dreaded swooshing sound that tells the whole world you have on a "girdle" in my opinion these are way over priced for what they are. I read reviews on this site and others and can't believe no one had an issue with the swooshing.

I ordered this in Black and Nude.The nude fit beautifully in all the right places, very light, streamed lined my ample bottom and thighs very well in deed and no show through lines under clothing and very comfortable. The Black one however, was received in a torn patched up bag, not labeled, looked like it had been worn. Crotch seam line pulled apart on both sides.It was a Spanx brand but definitely not Spanx Trust You Thinstincts style or material. I know Zappos with put things to right immediately and throw this item into the trash bin! I have just ordered a replacement from them. Love you Zappos but not this particular item.
