In a very frigid North American weather you can only rely on excellent thermal insulation and exceptional quality of workmanship that can only be found with The North fall-Winter boots to keep you going.

I normally wear a size 12, but I followed everyone else's advice and ordered a half size bigger (12.5). Upon their delivery, they fit very snug; almost a bit tight. After wearing them in for a couple days, however, the boots have loosened up. They're still snug but not tight or uncomfortable. They keep my feet very warm and I feel I'm ready for anything this year's Minnesota winter has planned.

My husband really likes these! We did decide to order a full size larger based on reviews. My husband said he would have probably been okay with only a 1/2 size larger, but he wants to keep them, regardless. He’s confident that wearing heavy socks, like he plans on, will make them just right. Plus, he says they are super warm and that makes them perfect for him.

Got them for the husband to wear up north when he plays pond hockey. He loves them and really happy we got them in time for him to wear them up here. They were really tight with all the padding but nothing to warrant a return. He can wear both thin and thick socks with them too.

Bought for my husband. A little hesitant since the reviews talked about them being tight but figured I would return if they were too tight. I ordered the size I would normally order and at first they did feel tight but by the the second time he wore them, he said they were the most comfortable boots he’s ever worn. Going to buy a pair for my son too. Definitely worth finding the size that work for you even if it means an exchange or ordering two sizes ans returning one. My husband isn’t the type to comment on the comfort of anything, so these boots made an impression.

After reading all the reviews regarding size, I was torn as to what size to order. I wear a 10, and some reviews say true to size, others said 1/2 or a whole size larger was needed.
I ordered a 10 1/2. At first they felt too small but after walking around the house 5 minutes they broke right in and feel like a perfect fit.
My recommendation - order a half size larger!

My husband works outdoors and the only thing he can’t seem to keep warm is his feet. I purchased these boots for him and he loves them. He said his feet have actually stayed warm. Definitely do need to size up one full size, especially if you plan to wear thick socks. We read several reviews about the sizing — some said size up half a size and others said size up a full size. We decided to size up a full size and are satisfied.

Bought these for my husband as a "medium" snow boot. He has regular shoes for light snow and heavy duty boots for a lot of snow. But he didn't really have a medium weight snow boot. These are perfect! They keep his feet warm and dry and most of all, they're comfortable! Can't go wrong with North Face. He usually wears an 11 in TNF and these 11s fit perfect.

I purchased these for both commuting to work in Chicago over the winter and for shoveling. I really only had function in mind for these, but they're pretty darn stylish as well and look good with jeans. My commute requires me to walk about two miles and these kept my feet warm, dry and were very comfortable the entire time. The one piece of advice I have though is that they run a bit small. I am a twelve in most shoes and these with thick socks (which I imagine most people wear with boots) are a bit tight. But, since they're so warm, I usually wear thinner socks and they're fine then.
