This is a great all-around general purpose boot. It is my everyday footwear. It fits well and looks good in jeans or with khakis. They are tough enough for most uses and look even better with a few miles on them. The odd lace "rings" looked funny at first but I got used to them.

These boots are extremely comfortable, especially thanks to the removable MultiShox insole. Because my Avia athletic shoes are a 4E, I bought boots of the same width and they fit perfectly. The outsole is definitely slip resistant, as I've walked through recently mopped rooms with no issues, as well as a kitchen with spilled oil on the floor. I've been wearing these for about 2 months and my only complaint is about the laces. They have recently begun to tear from rubbing against the metal loops from tying my boots every day, so I'll probably have to buy replacement laces soon.

Several months ago I had surgery on my right foot and have had a difficult time getting a boot that is comfortable. This boot fits my left foot perfectly and is a little snug on the right however, I have been wearing them around the house and find that they are breaking in perfectly and are going to work for me. I am very pleased. They have great support and the width was ample at 4E. They look great with jeans and kakis, are well constructed and I expect them to last for years to come. It took a few tries to get the right boot but thanks to Zappos we finally got there.

I've used these daily through two months of fall landscaping and lawn cleanups and through an entire winter. In order to make my heel fit in the heel cup I need to use a heel-lock lacing pattern, but they are very supportive and comfortable once laced to fit me. The sole has worn well, better than I expected based on previous experience with Wolverine and other brands, and the leather is still in good shape--though I mink oil then three or four times a month. They're definitely a bit narrower than marked, I can't decide on the size. Maybe 1/4 size small? I always have a hard time with boot sizes since I wear different weight socks depending on weather. I wouldn't mind if the steel toe was a bit taller, but it doesn't cause me problems. The color is redder than most boots, but they're usually covered in mud/dirt/grass/oil so who cares?

These boots seem to be durable and are non-slip. Seem a bit heavy. The worst part about them is when I walk on slick indoor surfaces they squeak.

I just bought a pair of Irish Setters in the same size and style, but in 2E. This 4E was narrower than the Irish Setter 2E.

I purchased a pair of these boots a few years ago, wore them when working in the yard and then polished them up and wore them on two separate vacations to Germany. They polished up great, they were exceedingly comfortable both in the yard and on the cobblestones of the quaint towns we visited. I have rheumatoid arthritis and consequently, tender feet. I also wear 8.5 and 4E . Highly recommend these shoes.

Nice boots. the hook shoelace holders are taking some time to get used to, but other than that really like. Zappos service was great when UPS screwed up the delivery leaving them at the wrong address, they immediately sent out a second pair. UPS screwed up that delivery too, but not as bad so I found the shoes.

Good pair of boots, fit well right off the bat, a little stiff, but wearing them for a few days helped break them in. Would recommend to anybody looking for a good, solid pair of boots.

Leather looks more red than brown. A little stiff when new. Got boot but I prefer the maurauder for about the same price.

Been a long time wolverine fan, these are good but fit tighter than expected. I have a narrow foot and these were close. Returned the original 10.5, got the 11 now very comfortable.

I have low arches and I overpronate. I work on concrete 8+ hours 5 days a week. I've owned these boots for 6 months at the time of writing. These boots have held up above my expectations and they are still waterproof. However, my feet hurt now so I can no longer use these boots for working on concrete. It seems in my experience thus far most shoes only last for about 6 months in a concrete environment. I wish they lasted longer but at least I can still wear them. They provided excellent comfort though and I left work pain free for 6 months.

Ordered these for my husband who is a "true" 7.5/EEE size. everything else we've ordered from Zappo's in this size has fit well, but not these - they were extremely narrow - my husband is sure they are not even close to a EEE (or 3E) - labeled on the shoe as "EW" for "extra wide, which would be more like a "D" or "E" width. This should be changed in the product description.

I've hiked a lot in these boots and like them, but both boots are breaking across the sole of the boot. This shouldn't happen.
