This is just the right fleece for the Cincinnati environs in the early Spring--just heavy enough. I asked for a medium and it fits nicely. Sorta weird coming from a guy with q 44" chest but that's the way your designer drew it.

This is the second time that I have purchased the Men's Steens Mountain Full Zip Fleece. The first time that I purchased it was the actual first time I purchased a Columbia product around 9 years ago. Of course it became my favorite jacket because of the comfort, warmth, and overall quality. Not to mention, that it looked great. I worn the jacket for years and it made me a huge fan of Columbia products in general. It's still a mystery but the original jacket disappeared not long after I noticed my teenage son wearing it from time to time. I'm glad to have this go to jacket back in my closet.

I don't remember how it came into my life, but I acquired/inherited/snitched from a family member this jacket a decade or so ago. I just recently realized that I could replace my old friend, which was perfectly functional but looking a little faded and pilled and having lost its zipper pull. My old fleece accompanied me on many adventures, I look forward to my new one proving every bit as useful and versatile (pillow, seat cushion, dog towel) for the next decade or so. This jacket is the perfect weight, and I love the full zip. Washes well and wears like iron. The zippered pockets will keep your valuables safe through river rapids and urban explorations. I cannot imagine being without it. Thanks, Columbia, for not screwing up or "improving" an item that is already perfect.

I got this jacket a month ago and I love it! So soft and comfortable, lightweight but warm, fits great. Short collar is perfect for wearing up. It's my new go to light jacket.
