Leather has plastic feel and overall construction seems light and chintzy. Hook and loop could be larger and longer. Compared to my previous pair that lasted many years this seems so poorly constructed that I will never buy again.

:Most of my shoes have been purchased at LL Beans but this time they were stiff, sole poorly shaped and too small. Of course I still have to purchase a winter shoe so I may try again. WW

These were purchased to replace the only product from LLB that failed. The "collar" on the right outside of the the right shoe disintegrated.. I had purchased an identical black pair at the same time which are fine so I had no problem ordering a replacement pair in white.
