Within 2 weeks, one of the Velcro snaps began to come unsewed. Not a happy camper. Took it to a shoe repair shop rather than trying to send it back to you for repair.

I am a 30 New Balance user, dozens of pairs worn out. But, there is something wrong with the design of this shoe. It is a clown shoe. New Balance should be ashamed to ask $ 80.00 for this joke that is way below their abilities.

The shoes are squeaky. Every movement...squeak! And there are no laces, they are Velcro instead.

I have always ordered 813's and should have not tried to order a cheaper shoe. I wanted a 4 wide and am sure the shoe was only 2 wide. I could not get the shoe on. Also the Velcro strap was short. I should have stayed with the 813's.

This is the worst crudely attached tongue on the undersurface I have ever found in a shoe, New Balance or otherwise. Cannot believe they are approved for diabetic foot wear. They should be recalled. I am a physician. I am returning them and would like them inspected with a reply to my concern. Thanks. I have ordered a reliable MX623 again by New Balance that I have had good results with before.
I'd also recommend:
New Balance has been good for me for years. Sadly this is the first USA assembled pair for me

Sorry, NB. This shoe doesn't cut it. Bought the same size as the 928s I've been using and couldn't even get my foot into the shoe. Side by side, this shoe was an inch shorter with a smaller toe box.

I got the EE wide. They are not wide, but they look like clunking orthopedic shoes. My feet ache.

I have used this NB shoe prior, two previous pair, and never had the problem I experienced. I have inserts I need to use dew to toe amputations and need a shoe with a removable insole. The recent pair of shoes did not have enough height at point of the arch in my foot so I could close the shoe with the straps without cutting into the top of my foot. I experienced this with the 9 1/2 and 10 ee sizes I tried. I noticed a lessening of the quality of the straps. The way the tongue was shorter than in previous shoes which caused the seam to be higher on my arch than previous shoes.

I didn't even have my husband try on the plastic shoes. His feet would have sweated in them. I have returned them.

Worst shoes I have ever owned. After 4 months thge stitching on the side came undone. Then at six months the side ripped away from the sole. Do not buy. Stay away.

Bought my dad a pair of these for his birthday because of the only shoes that he can get on wear due to his back with the velcro straps we have bought 3 pair now and the velcro straps are too short why is the company not addressing this issue. He had no problems with his old pair. Very disappointing.

These shoes had excess fabric and padding at the lower end of the tongue. That made them uncomfortable as soon as you put them on. I currently on 6 pair of New Balance Walking Shoes (all this size), none with this defect. Very disappointed.

After buying very comfortable running shoes from New Balance I was happy to try a walking shoe from the same company I had become loyal too. I wanted a fully closed shoe for the cold at night. These looked perfect, but the fit is awful, They bend in and bunch on the top of your feet as you walk and are very uncomfortable and they don't have any of the fit feel I was used to with other New Balance products. Based on my experience I would not recommend purchasing these online as I did without a long trial walk.

I donated this pair to the local homeless shelter after 3 five mile walks. Went to the local shoe store and bought a pair of mx-608-4vb (608) with the non-slip soles...much better.

As a big guy in the Big and Tall, I need a tennis shoe I don;t have to tie and can slip on and off. When you slip these shoes on, the back of the shoe above the heel always drops over, bends, folds over, and you have to constantly work your foot in and out to get it to bend back. Painful, especially during those times your feet are swollen. 2nd pair I've bought because it is the ONLY shoe in my size that is a white, normal, velcro shoe. Going to shop elsewhere I think and try to find another place to buy my shoes. Just not worth it here.

I'm a 10.5. Bought an 11 and it was too short Then bought an 11.5 and it was too narrow. Went to exchange it and they didn't have a wider size. Why not use accurate sizes and not waste my time?

I bought these because the width selection with NB is great. I originally purchased a less expensive model from NB. I forget the model, but the sole came apart after a while, maybe a year or so. So, I figured, I'd spend the extra money and get the more expensive version and the sole would be better. I was wrong. These are already coming apart and I've only had them for a month, and don't even wear them every day. So, now I have to figure out how to return them (this is why I don't buy shoes online -- go figure the first time I try Zappos, I get this). I'm pretty lazy and hate hassles (and no, I don't still have the box), so I probably will just go buy something else at a shoe store locally. Sigh.

New Balance shoes have gone downhill. I have bought this exact shoe before but now my usual size does not fit even close. The interior construction is unfinished. They are not stylish.

Leather has plastic feel and overall construction seems light and chintzy. Hook and loop could be larger and longer. Compared to my previous pair that lasted many years this seems so poorly constructed that I will never buy again.

:Most of my shoes have been purchased at LL Beans but this time they were stiff, sole poorly shaped and too small. Of course I still have to purchase a winter shoe so I may try again. WW

These were purchased to replace the only product from LLB that failed. The "collar" on the right outside of the the right shoe disintegrated.. I had purchased an identical black pair at the same time which are fine so I had no problem ordering a replacement pair in white.
