Some reviewers talk about the velcro straps being too short; that's not my experience - they're plenty long. I use these shoes for walking and I've found that they provide very nice support for my flat feet. They are every bit as comfortable as my tie-up Rockport Walkers. The only negatives are that they seem to lightly squeak just a bit as I walk, and they look a bit dorky. But then I'm in my 70s and that doesn't bother me much.

I use these shoes for walking my dog about 1 1/2 miles everyday and for workouts at the gym. In early use they seem somewhat narrower than my already-owned pair(s). I'm waiting to see if they widen a bit with use. Otherwise I like tham because they provide relatively firm support for the type of shoe it is. I have owned and consistently used its predecessor 577 with about 20 pair over the years. I also like that they are lower cost than most shoes currently available and offering size 15's.

Very comfortable when on my feet for extended periods. Replaced a 12 year old par that developed tears along both inner arches. This new pair is a bit snug, but I'm confident they will stretch a bit over the summer. Tread pattern fresh out of the box feels more 'sticky' than before.

Sizes run small and finding the right size takes some work and patience. Supply chain issues, you know. One you find the right size, quite comfortable walking, general wearing, flying, etc.

My husband walks at least 5 miles a day and loves these shoes. When he finds something he likes, he stays with it. Only negative is the last couple pairs he bought have a slight squeak.

These shoes will be my primary walking shoes worn during the Summer. They fit fine and I do not expect having any problems with them. I also like the idea of not having to tie shoelaces.

I had to take out the cushion due to orthotics and the sneakers squeak

The shoe was of good quality, they just didn't fit his foot.

Closure top velcro is short. Difficult to keep shoe fastened

I wear it almost every day to work and normal usage.

The shoe is comfortable and looks nice, I just miss the more breathable construction.

Used for long walks around town, and also trail hikes in the hills. I like the cushioned footbeds which must be a newer feature. The last pairs of these shoes I had (from 2020) didn't have them. Nice improvement!

I honestly thought they would be way more comfortable. They feel stiff and tight for a walking shoe with Velcro straps, I guess time will tell how they loosen up once I wear them more.

After an auto accident ( Nov 25th, 2020) the five surgeries and skin graft on my right calf left my lower right leg SO swollen I can no longer wear regular pants or shoes on my right leg and foot. Not knowing the size of my very swollen right foot I bought a pair of size 10 extra wide 577s, with the velcro closure, that were a 1/2 size too small (they cramped my toes). ( My regular shoe size is a 9 1/2 D) Next time I bought a size 10 1/2 extra wide. These fit nicely ( I like everything about the second pair). The third pair I have just bought. A size 10 1/2 EE seems to still be too tight and the velcro strap seems a little short as I have had trouble keeping it "buckled". Even after a couple of weeks of off and on wear. (Naturally the left shoe is a little big but I can make do with that)

Very comfortable. Been buying for many years alway have at least two new bar in box in the closet.

This shoe is well-padded on the inside. The outer material is a bit stiff, so it doesn't offer much flexibility. I'm a woman, but have wide feet (size D), and this shoe gives me enough toe space. If you typically wear standard men, but find these narrow then I'd suggest going wide. Quality is top notch for the price.

My 90 year old husband has worn new balance shoes for over 10 years. we replaced a pair that is over one year old. on this pair, the velcro is too short to go across and is also very thin.

It took a long time for the 577 model to get back in stock! Also the tongue on the left shoe was sewn in crooked.

I like that the hook and loop fastening is not using elastic so the shoes can be fastened snugly to the foot. Nice shoes. They have improved the 570 series last in the last few years IMHO. I mostly use for cycling to avoid laces being caught but also wear for daily use when felling lazy. 813 hook and loops not good for walking as too loose.

I got the Velcro waking shoe and the length of the Velcro is to small. I am going to have to add a piece of Velcro across the shoe as it just barely meets and comes open when I am walking. Since I got the widest shoe (4x) I think the length should be longer so the shoe fits better. Other than that I like the shoe.
