This is an excellent walking shoe--perfect for someone who does a lot of walking both on-the-job and for exercise. I have purchased it twice, and it is the best that I have found on the market. The only complaint I have is this: both times the front left shoe by the big toe has separated from the shoe's sole, leaving an opening susceptible to water and cold (no fun during a Minnesota winter). It appears that the adhesive is letting go along the area that joins the shoe front to the sole/base of the shoe. As this has happened on both pairs that I've purchased, I believe this may be a design-related issue that needs to be addressed...perhaps a stronger adhesive? Again, this is an excellent walking shoe, and I highly recommend it, with the hope that the manufacturer will be made aware of the design concern I've shared.

This is my second pair of MW577s. The first pair were very comfortable and lasted almost nine months. They seemed to wear very well and the price was good. I am on my feet for eight hours a day walking most of the time. I am sure that I will buy a third pair when the second pair wears out.

These are great everyday walking shoes. Very comfortable and have good support. They are the only kind I've purchased for the last 7-8 years.

Good shoe. Almost as good as the 575 shoe that was discontinued. They should bring back the 575s.

This is a great dual purpose shoe for walking and casual dress. I use these shoes at work and out on the town. They go great with khakis or jeans. Most important of all they are comfortable.

I have been searching for shoes for comfort I have no feeling in my legs except for my feet. I have 12 pairs now and none compare with these the inner sole gives me more comfort and balance. Try them - there is nothing to lose with Zappos' policy.

The best walking shoe I have ever owned. The leather is supple and flexible. The fit is excellent and the heel is cupped and fits very well. The toe box is roomy. The walk is soft without being mushy. An outstanding value and a better shoe than the much more expensive MW928.

This is a very good walking shoe...I go through 3 or 4 pairs annually because I walk 5 miles daily. I order a full size larger than my other shoes because this shoe tends to be about a half size smaller than marked and I wear orthotics and need the extra room. They are comfortable the first time they are worn...no breaking in period. Great price!

Service excellent; shoes excellent. Wear them every day for work, so if they were crummy, I'd know by now. 2nd New Balance shoes in a row. Neither one disappointed me. Last two years with constant use.

I have bought these sneakers FOUR times. They are remarkable for their weight, comfort and support. Zappos is always my first choice for good service.

Very comfortable from first wearing. Round toe area, gives plenty of room. Third pair I've and they wear like iron!
