I have purchased this same model for five or six years now. I buy a new pair every six months. This is because I suffered from Plantar fasciitis and my podiatrist recommended new balance sneakers for the support they give. I have used other, cheaper brands in this style and they do not support the feet as New Balance does.

In recent years I have purchased previous versions of this model. There have been changes in my foot dimensions so this time I bought MW577VW, size 4E. The length of the hook and loop straps appeared to be appropriate for a narrower size. It would be easier to use if the straps were longer.

This is a replacement for other pairs I own. They are the most comfortable sneakers that I have every owned. I walk 8 to 10 miles per day. Used to get calluses with other pairs. Don't with these.

I love these shoes! It's so hard to find comfortable shoes for my hard to fit, sensitive feet. And with the Velcro tabs I don't have to worry about tripping over my laces. These shoes are just perfect for me. I can't wait to order another pair!

I've been a fan of 577's for along time as my last pair has lasted me more then five years. Only reason I'm replacing them is that I finally wore them out. I bought two pair this time,. These are very comfortable shoes, true to size and fit just right with a little extra room in the toe box which is a plus.

This is the fourth pair of these shoes I've ordered over the years. The fit is very good and the velcro closures very convenient. I walk the dog a mile and a half every day, sometimes farther. These shoes get lots of use. As always, Bean is helpful and friendly, did I mention efficient ?
