These shoes are great! Rarely do I find a pair that needs no breaking in. Slip them on and you can wear them all day. Felt true to size, nice heel height, and looks great with jeans. These will probably end up being my wear around shoes and I might go ahead and order the pair in black as well.

OMGoodness. Love these. Great look, very comfortable! I have wide feet. I normally wear either a 9 (if wide width) and 9-1/2 (if normal width) I bought these in 9-1/2 and they've been wonderfully comfortable. Very happy with them.

I love this shoe. I have had it for about 2 years now. It holds up well, very comfortable and is a good solid shoe. I have back problems and I have no issues when I wear this shoe. However, it does run a bit large. I ended up putting in an a thicker insole to keep my heel from slipping.

I ordered a half size up as recommended by others, and this was a mistake. When the shoe arrived it was a half size too large. So in my opinion, these are true to size. This is a nice low boot. The heel is not too high, but still gives a stylish lift. (I have had neuromas and have mild bunions, so comfort is rule #1 for me.) I could have reordered the correct size, but I think they make my feet look big. (Which could have been because I was wearing the wrong size.) I might reconsider these in the future in brown to wear with jeans.

Loved this shoe but normal size 10 was too big so ordered size 9.5 and that was too small. Felt like Goldilocks. Returned both for Born Rissa in brown. Have Rissa in Black fits like a glove or like a good fitting shoe!

I did a lot of walking in them first day. Not bad, but my feet were tired at end of day and had a couple of blisters. But considering I gave them such a workout right out of the box. I am confident they will serve me well as I break them in.

I have not had a chance to wear these yet, since it is still summer. They do seem comfortable and I like the look of them. In general, I have always been very happy with my Born shoes and boots. They are well made and last for years.

Found the back to be rather loose and slipped when I walked in these. Color is less chocolate brown as it appeared on the website. Buckles are a stylish look on this shoe.

My first pair of Borns! I like them, love the style, but somehow expected more comfort. I usually buy Clarks and just bought my 1st pair of Danskos.

Wonderfully comfortable for walking in city. Rugged looking; stitching and raw edges visible. Definitely not a dress shoe. One flaw: short zippers needed for snug fit and stability of boot on irregular pavement tend to unzip as you walk, making the boot less stable.

Comfortable out of the box and very cool with just enough heel for lift but I can still city walk in them. A great shoe boot from Born.

Very comfortable but runs half size larger and wider. Zipper also keeps slipping down.

These shoes are very comfy and the hardware is really nice - gives a boot look without the weight and loss of mobility that generally comes with a boot. However, it should be noted that the shoe provides only moderate arch support and does not have the stability of a boot. I will wear the shoes when I don't plan to do a lot of walking.

Very nice shoe. Didn't work for me since it hit against a bone on the side of my foot, but otherwise very good quality and cute style.

These shoes run a little large - about half a size. The shoes look great and would be great with jeans.

Comfy shoe. I bought this for travel and wore it to work to break in. However, it didn't need breaking in. Pretty good for travel and will be comfy for most of the day. The only caveat is that this shoe isn't great on cobblestones.

A beautiful shoe loved style, a wider fit than I thought. I am adding a jell to make them fit. I have a narrow foot. Some medium shoes do work well for me. If you have a narrow foot, you will have to add insole.

Loved the photos of these so tried them. When they came I was sad that they were more rounded in the toe box than I thought, but I could have lived with that since the rest of the shoe was the style I was seeking. But they were way too big. I'm a fairly standard 8.5 and these were sloshing on me. I could pull my foot out easily without unzipping the side zipper. I thought about opting for a smaller size, thinking it was perhaps the style or Born, but I tried the Born Lorlei instead. They arrived today and fit perfectly - snug where they're supposed to be and true to size. And I like the toe box shape better, too.

These shoes look good and are actual very soft and seemed that they would be very comfortable, but they are too narrow across the ball of the foot/toe area. Didn't want to take the chance that they wouldn't stretch out (don't think they would) so am returning.

I wear a 10 in Born but these were either marked incorrectly or the shoe is narrow and tight. Went back. They took great & materials is right amount of shiny but they went back. Sad face.

I have very high arches and although the shoe was very comfortable "before" I zipped them up, afterward it was extremely tight over the top of my foot. If you do not have high arches, these are great but, if you do, they simply do not work.

Unfortunately, I had to return these. The zippers don't "zip" all the way up on the boots. Love the style, though!

I thought the black leather was too shiny. Wish it was distressed like the brown. I knew Born runs large, so I ordered a half size smaller, but it's still too big.

I love these boots, they are too cute. They are not very comfortable, but I decided to keep them, hoping they just need broken in. The heel slips a bit. But during the winter with a thick pair of socks it shouldn't be so bad.

I really, really want to like these, but they are so uncomfortable! I have 2 pairs of Born tall boots and a ton of Born sandals and they are all way more comfortable than these. I'm not sure if it's the lack of arch support or what, but they put a lot of pressure on the balls of my feet and after wearing for a short time I can't wait to get them off. They're really cute and look great with jeans, I just wish they fit like my other Borns. I will try insoles to help the problem - I'd send them back if I hadn't already worn them outside a bunch (hoping to break them in, which isn't working).
