Loved these boots however I am an adult with small feet (size 5.5 adult) and thought I'd save a few bucks by buying the kids version (size 3.5). Although the shoe part fit, the boot is too skinny and barely fits over my calves. I can't get them over my calves when I'm wearing jeans (I'm 5'2, 115lbs). So, as beautiful as they are, I'm going to have to bite the bullet and get the adult version!

What a great boot! The adult sizes don't fit me, but the kid sizes are perfect. I am normally a size 5 adult women's boot size, but I wear a size 3 in these. They have a perfect shaft height for short adults, and are very comfortable (the price is much better, too).

I ordered these boots since I wear a women's 4.5 and the size 5 women's would be too big. The 2.5 kids is perfect for me. These boots are nice looking and really great quality, plus the kids version is much cheaper! I would caution any adults thinking of buying these that they are pretty short (they go about halfway up my calf and I am 4' 11") and the shaft is pretty narrow, but I have skinny legs so it's perfect for me. The leather is soft flexible and with an arch support insert I could walk in these for days. Highly recommend for other ladies with tiny feet!

I purchased these for myself. Compared them side by side with the Veronica Slouch adult 5½, the footbed is a bit smaller in the youth (not much), a little wider. The leather is much thinner, the sole is lighter and a bit shorter. The shaft is just too short, I am 5'2" and when comparing the two side by side I just had to send the youth size back. For a child they are beautiful boots for an adult woman who would like to wear these boots everyday for the next several years they are not going to cut it. Spend less, get less. If I were 4'11" I would probably still go for these even considering they are a less substantial boot than the Veronica Slouch adult, but I am not. So all that said they are great boots for a child or if you are looking for a deal, but why mess with perfection!

I ordered these boots for myself, I usually wear a woman's size 5.5. The size 3 boots fit well and they have a calf circumference of 13.5" and a shaft height of 11". Unfortunately, the shaft height was just too short for what I wanted and it fit perfectly around my calf, but ended at an awkward height. I would add that the boot shaft has less structure than the adult version, and that the boot leather generally seemed... crinkly, if that is possible.

Got these for my 6 year old, and she loves them! Yes, they're pricey for a kid who'll out-grow them, but I ordered them a size large so she can wear them longer. And she wears them for everything, running around, riding her scooter, you name it. So they must be comfortable, and she had no blisters or breaking in period. And they are freakin' adorable on her.

My granddaughter turned nine and I bought her her fourth pair of Frye Veronica Slouch boots in red for her birthday. She loves her boots and wears them just about every day. Unfortunately she is now size 3½ and once she gets to size 4½ the price for this boot jumps considerably. That will be too much for a retired grandpa to pay for boots that she grows out of. But there are other brands that are less expensive. Maybe when her feet quit growing I will buy her another pair.

Nice soft leather, fits great, looks great with dresses or pants, comfy -- my daughter wears them nearly every day.

This is the third pair of Veronica Slouch boots I have purchased from Zappos VIP for my 8 year old grand daughter. I gave them for her birthday in October, and I expect she will outgrow them by spring, like she did last year. But she wears them almost daily because she loves them and they can be passed on to a friend when she outgrows them. Last summer we had to make her quit wearing them because it was too hot for boots. That's how much she likes her boots. And though they are a little pricey, I spend more every month at Starbucks on coffee, or on parts for my Harley, than the cost of these boots. She's worth it and I like to see her happy. I'll be ordering the next size up this spring! She loves the burnt red, so I'm guessing that will be the color. This is my second pair of Frye Veronica Slouch boots. My first pair were brown and I loved them so much I had to have the black. I have a small foot so it is a nice boot for an adult. The fit is perfect.

I ordered these boots for my daughter last fall. After a long winter of wearing to and from school and an early spring of wearing them to school and on our playground they look fabulous! My daughter is hard on her shoes (and boots) and these stood up to her wear and tear. She was extremely disappointed to learn that she outgrew them so I'm ordering again for her. She looks adorable in them and they keep her legs warm with all her dresses I dress her in.

I bought a pair of these in red in September for my 7 year old granddaughter and she has worn them almost daily, with plenty of compliments from women who liked the style and color of the Veronica Slouch. Last weekend my grand daughter said her boots were too small. I asked my daughter to check and they are too small. She's a growing girl. But she is worth the money and is a girl who loves her boots. So Papa ordered a black pair in the next size from Zappos VIP. She got them on the next business day and will be back at school in her new boots today. Fortunately my daughter and wife won't grow out of their Frye boots. I plan to get the brown colored Veronica Slouch for my granddaughter when she out grows these. She's so cute, how can I resist? I spend more than the cost of these boots at Starbucks each month. Thanks Zappos for getting those boots to my granddaughter lightning fast!

My daughter has a thing for boots. These are her constant go to since Christmas. They are wonderfully comfortable according to her. I own Frye's myself and love them but these to me are on the thin side, I understand an 11 year old probably doesn't want to break them in but really the are thin. The upside to the thinness is the softness. Regardless she loves them and that's all that matters.

Like many other reviewers, I am a petite adult (5'2", 105 lbs.) with small feet (size 5m). I looked at the Frye adult boots but ruled them out due to cost ($350+) and shaft length which I felt would be too long for my short legs. I ordered size 3m in the girl's boot which is the size I normally buy when ordering kids's sizes. It runs a bit big which is ok as I prefer to wear light hiking socks (Thorlo) and a pad with boots. The shaft is kind of short, as expected, but I'm ok with it. I didn't want a boot that came up to my knees. It would be perfect if and inch longer, though. The boots are very comfortable and the calf circumference is wide enough to tuck in straight leg jeans on me. The adjustment buckles at the calf and over the foot bed are nice to get a customized fit and add style. The boots are also light weight. Happy with the purchase.

Hey there guys I have very small feet I am short 4'9 1/2 96 lbs 49 yrs old shoe size 3 or 3.5 is what I wear. I love all colors fits perfect with no problems. They are a lot cheaper then any bargain brand store these day.

Beautiful well made boots. Only complaint is buckle closure - it works well, but if I had been thinking more clearly, I would have bought zip boots for a 7 year old!

These boots are very comfortable. I wear a women's size 6 and am 5ft tall so I like the shorter length.

It required 3 orders before we found the right size where my daughter's heels didn't slip. Once we found the right size she loves them. Comfortable from the start and I know that they are durable which is how I justified the cost.

Fabulous boots! My daughter loves them. Would like a pair in every color. Fit is true to size - leather is butter soft. They're Frye - of course they're amazing.

We bought these for our 6 year old granddaughter and she loves them. She picked the red color and she wears them with skirts, dresses, leggings and pants. We bought much cheaper boots for the past two years, but my daughter enjoys her Frye boots so much that we decided to pay the extra for our granddaughter too. She flipped them over and pointed out the Frye brand on the sole. No breaking in required. She's worth it!

These boots are GREAT. Our daughter (age 11) will hardly take them off. She reports that they are extremely comfortable as well.

These boots are fantastic! I purchased them for my five year old daughter. They fit her beautifully, and she tells me they are very comfortable. The leather is very supple and the buckle detail is super cute. They were a tad expensive, but you get the quality you pay for!

My 11 year old daughter loves these boots! They are here favorite moto style boots. Very comfortable with flexible sole. Not heavy at all like some adult Frye boots.
