After returning a pair of too-narrow Asics that literally put my foot to sleep, I tried these Rykas. I have been wearing Rykas for years and am never disappointed. They breathe well and have just the right amount of heel and arch support. These will be my new travel and walking shoes.

These are well made shoes that last a long time. They were recommended by my orthotics technician as what I need to wear for my feet. This is my fourth pair.

Nice basic shoe with good support at a reasonable price. This shoe provides the stability and support I need for my workout. Great for step aerobics. PS: Love Zappos customer service!

These are a great supportive shoe for a job where I stand all day. Perhaps a bit tight around the forefoot, mostly on the right shoe. I think that is because I have been wearing clogs, and they allow your foot to flatten out. I was expecting more cushion, but they are still comfortable, and supportive.

Too short. Firm support, nice laces. I like the extra hole for lacing which adds to support, but the shoes are shorter than other Rykas I've bought.

Love these shoes! This is my second pair. They are great for Jazzercise and walking. Fit true to size. I have a wide toe box and Rykas rock for that Great comfort and looks.

It's almost a mile walk between where I park my car and my office building (one way). I'd been wearing Reeboks for years, but really wasn't satisfied. A few years back, I was in Lady Footlocker & asked for a recommendation. The sales girl recommended Ryka. Bought 2 pair & haven't looked back. They are true to size and there is no "break in" period. Lots of support, and the insole slips out if you want to slip in a pair of orthotics. I jumped on these because they are purple, not realizing they were mesh, but I like them anyway! I highly recommend you at least try this brand. You'll fall in love with them just like I did!

I use Ryka for jazzercise and found a great shoe with Intent XT. My previous Rykas had a lot of lateral movement unlike all of my previous pairs, wish models were not discontinued. This pair is as good as their Revive 2. Good training shoe and I always go up 1/2 size for sneakers.

I absolutely love Ryka, especially this particular look (Plain white leather, no bells etc.) Ordering from Zappos is quick and easy. I open the box, put the shoes on and take a 2 or 3 mile walk, no blisters.

This Ryka model has the stability I was looking for that some other Ryka styles do not have. It's great for both high and low impact as well as lateral movements. Has Ryka's signature fit and excellent cushioning. Highly recommended!

This has the stability I was looking for in a crosstrainer. Some of Ryka's styles don't provide this, but this one does along with Rykas signature cushioning and fit. Great shoe, highly recommended for either high or low impact aerobics and other fitness endeavors.

My foot has many issues...wide, bunions, etc. I have trouble finding sneakers that fit when I'm in the store. I never buy them online. Except for Rykas. They're so comfortable. Even bought 2 styles figuring I'd send 1 back but decided to keep them both. What a treat to find comfy sneakers.

I take back my earlier review and admit user failure. I noticed that the highest hole was not laced. I laced it and have excellent fit. They are very comfortable for walks and general wear. I think they're pretty stylish as sneakers go. The mesh is very forgiving for a wider fore foot.

I always buy Rykas for Jazzercise and order 1/2 size larger than street shoes. This shoe is a little different than others I've worn. It did not come with the insole shown in the picture but rather with a stiff white orthotic type insert that had a weird arch. I replaced it with an unused Ryka insole I had (identical to the one pictured) and it feels much better. The shoes have great traction and slide and pivot nicely. Heel cushion is great. They are very stylish as well. Zappos is the absolute greatest! Ordered shoes Tuesday afternoon and was wearing them Wednesday morning! Oh, and shipping was free!

Bought these shoes elsewhere but I'm a Ryka convert! Excellent fit for my feet and great support all over, but especially in arch and heel cushion. I wear these at the gym and for Zumba but prefer my other Ryka shoes for Zumba because they allow for better turns. Ryka is an exceptional fit if your foot runs thin in the heel but medium width everywhere else. If you have thick feet, flatter/wider feet these May not be the shoe for you. If you have a high arch, these will be great. I wish they would get on the glow in the dark bandwagon like new balance and Asics - I would buy more to walk on dark winter mornings.

I had gotten this shoe along with the Asics Gel Invigor, and found that the arches in both of these shoes were just too much for my feet. With the Ryka, I ordered up a half size, as it seems the recommendation is for most athletic shoes, and I felt like my big toe kept sliding forward to the very end of the shoe. Somehow I don't think that will work for my workouts. Back they go. On to the next shoe...

I purchased these along with another much more expensive pair of shoes (different brand) to try for Jazzercise. I have flat feet with bunions, bursitis in my heel and sometimes ankle pain. The more expensive shoes were much worse than these! I was surprised by how much cushioning I felt in a shoe that was so lightweight. I purchased a size 9, as I usually do in athletic shoes, but they ended up being a little large- probably could have gotten away with an 8 1/2. That said, the size 9 still work for me, just have to lace them fairly tight to make sure my foot doesn't slip around too much during my workouts. Love these shoes!

Great arch support and cushioning! Love the mesh and very cooling. If you work out at home and on carpet as I do, the bottoms of the shoes like to grab the carpet. The first couple of times were a bit challenging but I've since gotten used to them.

I was replacing a prior pair of Ryka cross-trainers that I wore out and at first ordered a 7 1/2 as the previous pair were. I had to size down to a 7. But I am one of those people who can wear a 7 in sandals, 7-7 1/2 in sneakers but am an 8 in boots or pumps. So I wouldn't say size down, I would just say order what you are! These are great, good arch support and versatile.

I was looking to replace a Ryka that was very similar. The only thing different on this one was that there is a small hard plastic-y reinforcement just under the arch. Couldn't use it. Made it too stiff, without the spring I loved in my Rykas. They don't make mine anymore.

This shoe was almost perfect...but rubbed my little toe on one foot. Could just be this particular pair, but my little toe was hitting something stiff and I could tell it would cause a problem so I am sending these back. I bought the Ryka Encore and they are perfect for me.

I wear these for walking and I think they're okay. I find that walking shoes don't have enough padding in the ball of the shoe and they unnaturally tilt me forward, so I was looking for an evenly cushioned neutral shoe. For this purpose, they're fine. I take my babies on 20 minute walks and they work. If I were going to be walking much longer or doing an aerobics type class, I think I'd look for something with more stability and cushion. The mesh on the shoe provides a lot of flexibility in the width department. If you had a pretty wide foot, these would accommodate you. To get a good fit, I had to pull the laces so much that it looks like the silver part is pulling at the white part of the sole. I fear that in a few months this will completely pull apart.

These shoes are very stiff, and run short - I have had these in a 7.5 before that fit great. Going back, won't reorder these.
