I bought these for my preschool son, because there are finally some credible threats of rain this season in California. Also, my son wears extra wide shoes and I have worried a lot about finding boots that would fit him; an online forum recommended these. Another benefit is that they supposedly will not leak like other rain boots, because they are all one piece. We have not owned them long enough to test leaks (although so far, so good, and he has been in lots of puddles!). At first, I was afraid that the shaft looked too narrow, but they slip right on without any effort! Then, he looked super awkward walking in them for the first time, and I almost returned them. However, another wear or two (in the house), and he is off and running. He loves them because they are the first shoes that he has owned that he can put on for himself. I love them because they are lightweight, easy to clean, and adorable. My son wears 11½XW normally, so I ordered size 12. There is a little room left at the toe, but he can run and does not trip at all, so I would say that the fit is perfect. He has worn them for hours at a time and never complains. He is so happy, and I am so happy.

Great first pair of rain boots! My 20 month old rarely takes her's off. So lightweight. We get compliments all of the time.

Cute boots, super lightweight, but my son's wide feet / calves were just way too wide to get into the boot. We first ordered his true size (7), but his actual foot was wider than the boot shaft so we sent those back for a large size (8). His feet baaaaaarely fit through the shaft, but then the shoe was huge and the boot shaft fit like a sausage casing. Back they went as well. If these were made in a wide, they would be perfect.

My daughter needed shoes she could quickly take off and on at her school. She loves them and they are easy to clean and lightweight.

These turned out to be a great purchase! Agree with other reviewers that they are lightweight enough so that a young toddler can still walk in them - not as awkward as traditional rain boots - and they can even put them on themselves and they stay on, thanks to the better sculpted fit. My son is 22 months, I measured his feet in inches and used the size chart. The size 7's fit him perfectly with just a tiny bit of room. For better or worse, they don't look like conventional rain boots, but he loves them and wants to wear them, even though it's 80+ outside.

Great boots! Fit well. My twins seem to really enjoy wearing them and they keep their feet warm and dry. Love the bright yellow. Wish I could find these in my size.

I am the director of a child care center where we bring the children outside in all weather. I also have two young children and these rainboots are my favorite. My three year old can easily put them on and take them off himself and they remain securely on his feet while he is playing. I love that the shape of the toe box doesn't restrict his toes and that they are so light weight. Buy these. You can't beat the quality, design, or price.
