I've used the Vasque Snowburban UltraDry for a bit over 2 months, working on the snow at ski resorts, in temps between -10 and 40. They are warm, dry and comfortable all day. I was initially disappointed about the upper eyelets as others have noted, but I soon realized that while they require the laces to be a bit longer, they really hold the laces when cinching up, so the laces don't slip back when you go to tie them as with speed hooks. No longer disappointed by this feature.

These are very good boots! Great traction and secure fit/feel, comfortable. I have worn them on the ramp at Denver International Airport in temperatures below 20° for 3-4 hours with SmartWool socks and they have kept my feet warm. Though they do not have the "quick hooks" at the top of the boot for the laces, they tie up strong and tight and never come loose on me. I have not been able to snowshoe in them yet, however, I think they will be very good for that application. They fit true to size.

I bought these to ride my Fatbike in the snow with. They are awesome. My feet were warm and dry after two hours of riding in woods with deep snow. I ordered half a size larger (for thicker socks). That was a perfect fit. I like the look and craftsmanship. I would highly recommend them.

Awesome boots. Main pluses are that they are incredibly light (they look heavier than they are) and incredibly comfortably. Bought them for going on long (3- to 5-hour) walks/hikes in snow, water, slush, ice, mud and they handle it all. Now I'm (almost) longing for winter to come back again.

Vasque makes awesome boots.I bought the Vasque Burban snow boot, excellent feel and fit..They say they are a little hard getting on/off..That true somewhat. But have to say they feel like wearing tennis shoes.T hey are lightweight, I've had many high end boots and these are a great value. I work in them, ride the motorcycle, hike and every day use and like the ole saying, you get what you pay for. Go to the mall, try on several pairs of boots. Then try on the Vasque brand and you'll see the difference in workmanship, feel and support, just remember and your on your feet a lot. I was taught 15 years ago about what good boots are all about. One who owned a outdoor fitters shop taught me well. Once you go that way you'll never go back. The first purchase will be a big one, after that you'll never regret it and that I can promise you.

Great looking boot but only made for a very narrow foot. You can only tighten them since there is no play in tongue no way to loosen the fit felt very constrictive on my feet. they do look really good but they will be going back.

These are incredibly well made boots. I wear a size 13 and these fit just right with regular socks. With heavy socks they do fit snug but not uncomfortable. The boots have low arch support, but with some good insoles I have a nice arch support. The insoles do also attribute to the snug fit. I have not hiked in them yet, but they feel like the same quality as my summer Asolo hiking boots. They are very light and feel like they will last many years. I highly recommend these boots. They are a great looking around town to sub-zero winter hikers. I tried both Merrell and the The Northface hiking boots, both suffered from poor shoe lace lugs that pull away from their sockets. Vasque is head and shoulders above them in terms of quality. Thank you Zappos for fantastic service!

Considering buying this boot as my old boots I've hunted in many, many, years have since deteriorated leaving me without a sole....seriously. That pair of boots happened to be a pair of "Vasque" that I purchased at a very reliable shoe store and accepted their recommendation of that "Vasque" boot at the time. 22 years have passed and it's time. Enough said. That pair of boots ran a lot at the time and well worth every cent. Did I mention I plowed snow and worked outside in the snow as well for 22 years. Anything that says "Vasque" on it gets my vote and recommendation. Not wet once or cold feet and I've hunted and crossed many a stream and creek. I'll be placing this order.

These boots are awesome fit to size! Comfortable to wear and walk regardless of the terrain! Highly recommend them! Have not worn them in the cold yet. Love Zappos, best company I have ever dealt with.

Have used Snowburban twice for snowblowing/shoveling, VERY happy with them, comfortable, flexible, relatively light, very warm. Walked about a half mile and again, very comfortable. Based on an online review, got size 10, same as street shoes, but too tight, needed to return for 10.5. EXCELLENT BOOTS.

These are now the most comfortable pair of boots I own...hands down. They are surprisingly light and feel like I'm wearing tennis shoes. You won't want to wear anything else. I hope they come out with these in black.

I work construction and am outside all winter long as well as snow blowing multiple driveways. These have been great boots for warmth, very lightweight, traction, support and feet staying dry. I bought them after having a Garmont winter boot with all nylon eyelets that many failed within the first winter of use and rendered them useless as i couldn't tie them securely. The only complaint is the failure of the two nylon eyelets that are out on the sides as they like the Garmonts broke after the first season. They lack of them didn't seem to affect the fit in anyway still very snug and stable. I am now seeing considerable wear with the leather eyelets at the top as well and hoping they don't break. I am sure I have put these through a much more extreme use than most given daily wear and would highly recommend them and probably buy again.

These boots are awesome for snowshoeing. They are light weight, warm, waterproof, and comfortable. The tab on the heel works perfectly to keep snowshoes on. They also have great grip and great ankle support for doing technical hiking (over boulder fields, ect.). For the price I believe these are the best boots you will find. I got an 11 at first and the length was fine, but my feet are a little wider than normal so I returned them for an 11.5 (which work great for width, and are fine for length). I just snowshoed 12 miles this past weekend with over 2000 ft elevation climb and they worked great.

I haven't had these boots for very long, but so far they're just right. They come up high to keep out snow, keep my feet plenty warm and are quite rugged. While they look good under jeans, they are a little too warm to keep on indoors, and somewhat stiff if you aren't trudging through snow. If there's one improvement to be made, they need to replace the upper eyeholes for the laces with hooks so that these boots don't take so long to put on and take off.

Great boots almost broke in right out of the box. Been out for a few days at near freezing temps feet never got cold. There was a little snow but not enough to test for snow shedding ability. Did have to hike down a hollow with creek on trail and many ankle deep crossings. No water from creek, at the end of the day boots only damp from a little sweat. Temps were in the 60's and did not seem too warm either. The fit is perfect. Only complaint is lack of speed lace hooks. Other than that these seem to be a real good purchase.

Great boot the only thing I dislike about these boots is the lack of speed lace hooks. Getting in and out of the boots does take a bit longer due this fact. I do not see it as a big problem as most hikers will not be stopping in cold weather to remove boots for a cool-off break. On many cold weather hikes I'll tighten up my boots before leaving camp and not remove them till I get to my next camp.
