My husband loves these shoes! They are great for Ohio's in-between weather because they are waterproof, but not as bulky as boots. Merrell is his favorite brand for comfort. I think the black/brown color combination looks great.

I have owned a pair of these shoes for 2½ years and they are most comfortable casual shoes that I have ever worn. They are great for everyday around the house wear and excellent for around the yard wear in the snow - I live in Wyoming. Nice and warm and waterproof in snow less than ankle-deep. I wear these mocs all year around. Very durable and excellent arch support. I am getting ready to order a new pair. They are not cheap but they are worth the price.

These were purchased for my husband. He says they are Extremely comfortable...light weight...they are his 2nd pair. He loves them. First pair lasted several years and now he just uses the original pair for yard work.

I'll start by saying that I'm a big Merrell fan. I had a pair of the original Shiver Moc's (vs this v2 iteration that just wore out after almost 5 years of heavy use. I've worn them daily for about 60% of the year and constantly taking them on and off during the day. The only thing that eventually wore out was the upper lining near the heel which is undoubtedly from the frequency of taking them on and off as I walk between my house and an outdoor office. The shoe is VERY comfortable with great arch support, is durable, and reliably waterproof. They are not the most stylish shoe in my closet and I can't say that I wear them out except for routine errands and running about but have worn this shoe more than any single other over the last 5 years.

These shoes are my husband's work shoes. We buy 4 pair per year & he wears them year-round in Chicago. He would wear them everywhere but I think they are just too ugly. They have a great vibram sole which helps in even the worst Chicago snow. They don't seem to wear out as far as the soles go, but the he walks several miles each day & after about 90 days, the cushion insole is not as cushion-y as they were initially, so we get a new pair.

These shoes are great. I wear them for work everyday. They are very comfortable, warm and keep my feet dry. The traction is good too. I usually get about 2 years out of these until I replace them with another pair.

Have purchased and worn out five pairs of these. They are comfortable, warm, with excellent traction. Vibram sole has aggressive tread and doesn't let feet feel and gravel or rocks. This is a serious shoe.

This is my second pair. I wear these all the time at work (OR). They are very comfortable and save my feet. Also get compliments regarding looks.

I use these shoes every day starting with a dog walk in the forest which is damp most of the year, and snowy and icy the remaining months. These shoes have been fantastic under these conditions. They were hard to put on for the first few weeks, but they loosened up a bit and have been great since. After a full year of abuse they show no signs of wear other than what I would consider normal wear. I love them.

These shoes are very comfortable and reasonably light given the coverage of the soles. I have worn them on an unexpected hike through the local woods/meadows after a rainstorm and they were watertight. They even cleaned up nicely afterwards. So far I have been very happy with them, even if they're not the most stylish shoes ever.

These are the most versatile comfortable shoes I have ever owned. I'm on my third pair and I will probably continue to order them from Zappos. Waterproof (saltproof), easy on and easy off, without being sloppy or breaking down the counters. Good design and handsome too.

Gave these as a gift. They had been on a wish list for some time. He loves them.

I bought the previous generation Moc over two years ago and was very satisfied. They are great in the winter - waterproof, warm, comfortable, and easy to slip into. Nice to wear in the spring and fall, too. My only complaint has been that the outersole separated from the top on one of the shoes. I attribute this to the shoe running small, so this time I will order half a size up. And with the help of a little epoxy, I will keep wearing the old ones, too!

Great everyday winter shoe. Vibram sole has great traction and gives nice support! Warm and waterproof too.

I bought these shoes for my husband to replace Uggs, that are no longer made. He just raves about these shoes...comfort, warmth, easy on/off.

No slipping no sliding. True to fit and they last. Nothing better than a pair of rugged slip-on shoes for quick outings in the Maine winter.

Ordered these shoes from the comments I had read and they have lived up to the favorable comments. They are extremely comfortable. I normally wear an 8 1/2 and ordered a size 9 that fit. Great looking shoe.

A replacement pair for the same shoe which was worn out. Warm and convenient when just out running errands. Easy on and easy off.

Got these for my husband for Christmas and he likes them. He was afraid they might be a little snug on the top of the foot close to ankle, but after wearing them indoors for about a week, they became pretty comfortable. I probably would have exchanged them for 12.5 if that size were available. Overall, great shoes.

Walked 4-5 miles in sub-zero temperatures in Minnesota. Used relatively thin SmartWool socks. My feet did not get cold. I'm impressed! Great traction.

Bought as a gift for my handyman who uses them for everything year-round--shovelling snow, mowing lawns, putting up drywall. This particular model is waterproof and insulated so exceptionally good for winter. A gift of Merrells is definitely an annual events now.

Shoes fit well and go on easily. These shoes are fantastic for walking outdoors in bad weather. The soles offer good traction, even in snow and icy conditions, and they are waterproof. I love these shoes.

These are the perfect rugged winter shoes. Merrell has always made great shoes, these are the best that I've had. Cautionary note: Merrell has changed their sizing somewhat. These shoes run small. I am generally a 13 but had to try on two different 14s to find one that fit adequately. Find your perfect fit with these shoes and you are golden.
