This is a nice size bag for travel day use. There are some nice features including the RFID pocket and key fob inside the interior zip pocket. The exterior pockets are a bit too narrow to fit my iTouch with its case on so imagine it is a tight fit for a smart phone. The exterior fabric is lightweight, unexpected with its wire mesh construction. The strap is heavier and rather stiff by contrast with its cabling. Like the bright color interior. Wish there were larger, zippered exterior pockets. Here is a drawback: The patented lock which allows the bag to be fastened to a chair is small and hard to see in black and a bit fussy to do/undo (I had to go to the website for instructions since the pamphlet attached to the bag seems to think it is intuitive). I can see locking it in a darkened restaurant and not being able to undo it! Food for thought, Pacsafe!

This is a great bag, not only for the security features, number of concealed zippered pockets, but also just the right size without being too heavy. A+ for me!

Having been warned about pickpockets, I purchased this bag to use during a trip to Paris. As it turned out, the pickpocket concerns were a bit exaggerated. A bag with fewer safety features would have worked as well. But, I likethe bag. It is light, the strap is comfortable enough, and it is rooomy enough for the essentials, including a small umbrella. I would have liked a slightly larger opening at the zipper, but that would would have defeated the security features of the bag, which was the primary design concern. I utilized the "secure it to your chair" feature once, when I knew I would likely doze off in the sun while resting on a park bench. In fact, I did doze off, and the bag stayed with me, harnessed to the bench. I will likely use the bag again when traveling.

This bag has held up as a travel purse very well over the years! It's really lightweight and holds a lot of stuff without looking bulky. I use it as a purse when just walking around while traveling and as my carry on during flights. Even though no one has tried to steal my bag or break into it, I have used the lock several times when in sketchy places. Overall, I'm very happy with this purchase and will continue to use it for many years!

I took this bag to Italy, and it was perfect! It is lightweight, easy to wear cross-body, and is just the right size to fit my phone, wallet, sunglasses, other essentials, and a small guidebook. I liked the security features, particularly the hook on the main zipper compartment, and the wide shoulder strap. The only thing I wish the bag had was an open outside pocket on one side of the bag to slip in a map or a guidebook that get pulled out frequently. There are two very small outside pockets on the ends, but one long pocket on the side would be more useful.

Pacsafe really is unmatched in terms of travel safety; I took this bag with me on a several-week-long trip to Paris (known for its pickpockets!) and felt comfortable the whole time! I did a lot of searching for bags, because while Pacsafe has great security features (the metal mesh, and all the locking zippers and clippy things, and the RFID stuff), their bags are usually kinda dull, and not very exciting looking. This one is a great red though! It looks a little pinker on this website, but if you go to the Pacsafe one it shows the color more closely. Its a great size too-- big enough to carry everything (wallet, journal, random bits and ends, a waterbottle or an umbrella...), without looking like you could carry a small dog in it. Definitely worth it!

This has turned out to be my favorite purse. I thought I bought it to use as a travel purse, but it is lightweight, strong, cute, and well made. It fits me just right, and it is now my everyday purse for work and social events!

A great purse for travelling. I felt secure knowing that it was slash proof. It's not exactly the most fashionable purse, but it's fine and gets the job done. I did get a compliment on it being cute. I will continue to use it when traveling.

This purse is great and just what I needed for our trip to Europe. The fast shipping ensured that I received it prior to our leaving. Was just the right size and the security measures built into the purse were a big plus. Would certainly buy again

I was a little hesitant about buying this because of the small size, but found it to be perfect! It fit my travel umbrella on the side, inside I was able to put in a small water bottle as well as wallet, credit cards, etc. I had plenty of room, it was not too heavy and best of all I felt safe from thieves with all the anti theft devices. I would highly recommend this purse.

Just got this in the mail a few days ago. I ordered the "walnut" color, and it is much darker than pictured. I'd describe it as more of an olive color, actually. It's not a huge deal to me, I was just aiming for a neutral color. This inside zipper got caught a few times on the key fob/key ring that is inside that pocket. Hopefully that won't happen once something is attached to weigh it down. Other than that it is a really lightweight bag, which is great. The strap is stiff, but what do you want, it's reinforced. I like how the strap is so adjustable, and easy to switch between off the shoulder and cross body. Outer side pockets look good to hold sunglasses, but definitely not a water bottle. Maybe a juice box. A map would probably fold nicely. The two inside pockets (one RFID protected) are a good size. The purse isn't too big or small for my body, so I love that and that's what I was mostly hoping for. I looked at a few other pacsafe bags and they seemed oddly large or just not big enough to be worthwhile. Overall, this is just a nice, simple bag to hold your necessities for the day safely.

Ordered this in black for a trip to eastern Europe. I needed something to hold passport, phone, tablet, camera, cards and cash. Didn't want to worry about pickpockets in crowds or restaurants. Unfortunately this bag wasn't quite right. It seemed well-made, but way too big. No pocket big enough for a water bottle, no convenient pocket for quick access to maps, etc. Also, it didn't hang comfortably at my hip. To be honest, it looked and felt like a very safe diaper bag. At the last minute, I decided to return it and ordered Pacsafe's smaller "Slingsafe 100" instead, and that worked out perfectly.

I like this purse very much. Almost perfect! Carries everything I need and except for some slipping in the strap, it is a winner! I use it every day but of course would be very good for travel. Very light weight which I need.

I changed from the smaller pacsafe to the City Safe and it provides more space and works better for me.Only one drawback is the strap which needs to have a little better design.Length isn't the problem, but the need for a second slider to keep the straps together better. The bag is roomy, but the strap needs to be able to stay together better.Well constructed,but just needs a second slider to keep the strap together better.

The herringbone pattern actually makes this Pacsafe bag look cute! Unfortunately, CitySafe 100 is just too small for my traveling purposes.

I bought this bag for a trip to India. It did well on the trip. While not stylish it was pratical, cleaned well and was comfortable. I wore it cross-body for long periods of time and it was comfortable. I was able to quickly shorten the strap for over the shoulder. The size held a small wallet, passport, pocket camera, etc. It was not big enough to carry my kindle. The side pockets are not big enough for much but I was able to stuff a small tube of sunblock and a packet of tissues in them. Pockets were not big enough for a water bottle. A good travel bag. I'm glad I bought it.

I liked the size of this bag. However, the zipper opening at the top made it a tight fit to get items in and out of the purse.

I recently purchased this bag for trip to Italy. It was very secure and the perfect size to hold all the necessary items without being too heavy. I read all the reviews prior to purchase and felt comfortable with purchasing the bag. After wearing it every day as it is supposed to be worn across the body. I noticed that the strap had been rubbing on my clothing and the clothing was pilling up. I had quite a few new shirts that now are very worn from the purse. I contacted Zappos today and they are accepting the return with no problem. I would keep and use this purse for many trips to come if I was sure it would not damage any more shirts. I use cross body bags all the time and have not had any problem with this happening before.

I bought this purse for travel in Asia. I liked all the safety features. They encourage you to be more aware and careful. They have convenient side pockets for sunglasses and or readers which was great. I planned on just carrying the basics: wallet, passport, tissue, phone, hand gel, sunscreen but found that it was too small. Although it looks pretty shapely in the picture it is actually a bit soggy and sad looking after a few days of use. It needs to be just a bit larger and firmer.

I purchased this bag for a European trip. I returned this bag because a latch connection failed. I used it for approx. two weeks when one day it broke from my shoulder. All the steel treads and RFID lining would have been pointless if someone had grabbed my bag and the strap connection had failed. As the old adage goes "...only as strong as it's weakest link". The Bag is a comfortable size and styling is nice, but having to carry it back home from my trip to return it was very disappointing.
