I know these are trail shoes...but I bought them thinking they would be good on a wet floor, since they are supposed to have wet grip! I work in a school cafeteria and want good support since I stand on the hard floor all day, but also need grip on wet floors. All of the safety shoes are so uncomfortable! But to my dismay these shoes are more slippery on a wet floor than any shoe I have owned! And I'm not talking about safety shoes, just plain sneakers. That is my only complaint.

I really was expecting more cushion on the footbed for the price. I usually buy Under Armour, but read good reviews about Asics. I think after I get break them in, they will be fine. I haven't worked out in them. I will post another review after I work out a couple of times.

I wound up buying these because I'd read enough expert reviews indicating that the Medium width is wider than most wides. I had to order one size larger than I normally wear (9.5 instead of 8.5). With sneakers, I need to ensure the toe box is wide enough to accommodate the ball of my foot. I normally take an M width, and I successfully buy shoes/boots all the time online, never at a store. But with alot of walking/running, if the ball of my foot is too squeezed, the bones (?) of my feet rub together and "click" past one another on one foot. I don't know if it's bones or a nerve that rubs, but it drives me nuts. Doesn't hurt per se but feels so weird and is distracting. I tried other running sneakers and none were wide enuf til these. Took a few days to get used to them, they are not stiff material so I feel unstable on the trails I run on. I'd like these to have a little more support and stability, a bit too loosey goosey for me. But since the only way to know if they would work or not was to run in them, I can't return them now.

These were some of the quietest athletic shoes I have ever tried on...not that that is a needed trait, I just had to point that out. However, there was not much shock absorption, especially in the ball of the foot.

Great looking shoe, love the colors (I got the black with green/pink). True to size and width fits great. But there is no arch support and they make my knees slant in/downward. This might be fixable with a good insert. I have bad knees and was looking for a running shoe with really good support and cushion. These are sadly not it for me.

These shoes are advertised as trail runners. If you live anywhere that is dry and dusty, like the rocky mountains be forewarned they have a lot of mesh. The mesh allows fine sand and dirt into the shoe. After one run on the trails my feel were soiled from all the dirt that had gotten through the mesh. Super annoying. Would not recommend as a trail runner, more of a around town shoe since they are super stylie.

These shoes have got to be the quietest athletic shoe I have ever tried on! However, the shoe sounds like it is about to rip when you pull the laces to tighten them. There is not much cushioning or shock absorption for anything high impact.

Love the look of this shoe. But not the fit! Description says "built for the neutral to overpronator seeking a well cushioned and stable ride on the trail." I found this to shoe to throw me into greater pronation, and very little cushioning under the ball of the foot. Usually love Asics, but this one has to go back.
