I am a small woman and was looking for a light weight bag that would fit under the aisle seat on Southwest Airlines (my airline of choice). I have the larger Osprey rolling carry on and love it. So I decided to try this bag. It's great!! I like the different compartments, it's light enough to carry easily when full and if I put the handle first, it fits under the seat! Love it!

I bought this bag for a trip to Europe to replace my old 22" e-bag roller that was getting flagged as too big for the cabin on one of their airlines. Safe to say 4 trip within Europe and the airlines don't even blink at it. My most recent trip was 6 weeks of trains and planes and the odd auto, This bag was FANTASTIC! I used it to mostly clothing (6 days clothing in packing cubes) and items I was likely not to need during travel. It's size and weight made it easy to haul on and off trains, up stairs and fit into overhead bins. It was also able to carry the little EagleCreek bag I used as my day pack in it. This bag plus a 22 liter backpack (for camera, tickets, etc,} were all I required for six weeks travel. I stuffed it to the gills and the seams and zippers had no trouble with what I threw at it. The only thing that bothered me, very occasionally, was the single stemmed handle - I could not put my backpack over it to carry through airports with long walks to the gate - anything placed there would inevitably slide around. Wish they could fix that.
Love this little bag and it will have a long future!

I have owned the Ozone 18-in for 5 years and it has been my constant companion on trips with just this carry-on and another Osprey backpack. I have traveled with it for 20 days and it can fit enough wash and wear clothing. From cruises, to Hong Kong, to Japan, to Mexico, mainland USA, beach resorts in Asia and it has held up very well on trains and buses as we like to do DIY trips. I like the pockets it has and the wheels are durable on rough terrain. My husband has an older version of the same size and a tad heavier but works just the same. We own several sizes of Osprey backpacks (just to have) depending on what activity we are doing.

Review for Zappos VIP Points(What's this?)
I was looking for a lightweight carryon that would meet international standards and did quite a bit of online shopping before I chose this pack. I'm delighted. I wanted a carryon to take essentials (and not be checked) for our next international trip. This is going to be perfect. It will carry quite a bit more than I expected, wheels easily and is VERY light. I'm considering getting another for my travel partner. If you don't want to go the backpack route, this is a great choice for a carryon.

We used two of these bags for a family trip to Europe. The compression straps held everything snug and gave loads of room. They were super lightweight and our kids ages 7 and 9 handled them with ease. The side handles were great for carrying up and down stairs at underground stations. We used transit everywhere and budget airlines and these were the best bags ever! No problem with overhead bins even on the stingiest airline allowances. We now want one for each family member!

I really like this bag. It is easy to handle and I was able to pack everything I needed for a week s worth of travel (three pairs of pants, four tops, underwear, sneakers and toiletries). It is lightweight and I carried it easily when going up and down stairs. It rolled along streets with uneven pavements without tipping over. The top pocket was perfect for stashing cords for my mobile devices and my iPad mini fit perfectly in the back pocket. I have only used it once, but I believe this bag is the perfect companion for my travels and I look forward to using it again on my next trip.

I've now taken my 18" Ozone on a couple of trips. I love it! It's light, surprisingly capacious, and has lots of helpful pockets for stashing things on the outside the main compartment. My umbrella goes in one of the outer front pockets. Electric cords for my laptop in the upper cache. A book and my boarding passes in the back. Plus, it's bright green and so is easily recognizable amongst a sea of black bags. Highly recommended.

This is a great sturdy bag and Osprey has a great lifetime warranty in case anything happens to it. It's on the smaller side, but I like to pack light. I don't want to be worried on the way to the airport if they are going to make me check my bag, so with the 18" I have no worries. I bought the grey and bought my husband the green.

Really nice bag. Love the lifetime guarantee on Osprey products. I bought myself the gray one and my husband the green one. It's not the biggest carry-on bag, so you have to pack strategically, but it works well when you are taking a shorter trip or a smaller commuter plane.

I love this bag! I was hesitant to purchase it because of the price. But once I read there is a lifetime guarantee, I figured why not. I am so glad I did! I have taken this bag to England, Ireland and New York. It was easy to wheel along in the busy streets of London and Dublin and I had zero problems on the NY subway. I checked this bag when I flew overseas and carried it on to NY and the bag looks great. I was concerned with the outside "fabric" at first because I have normally gone with a hard sided luggage but when it survived an overseas trip in the belly of the plane...those concerns quickly vanished. I can't wait to purchase the 22" Ozone.

International trip wanted to avoid carryon size problem. Also wanted to avoid using a backpack for my carryon - no longer want to carry weight around. Loved the various pockets. I was able to put all I needed into the bag. My only problem was the single rod handle - I was unable to bungee a tote bag to the Osprey. It would drop around to the other side immediately. Would like to see Osprey develop a bungee for a single rod handle.

The 18" carry-on served me well for two weeks in the UK (my hiking boots took up almost 1/3, but there was still room for everything else I needed,) two weeks in Morocco, a week-long visit to Hawaii, a five-day trip to San Francisco.... Light, manageable, and reasonably easy to organize content. I'll probably opt for the next size up for longer trip to Europe. Just curious about how well it might hold up when chucked around by baggage handlers on check - in flights.

Great bag; roomy and lightweight. Just wished it had backpack straps. I returned it, it didn't seem like it would be a good bag to carry but seemed to be an excellent roller.

I bought this bag because I needed something that would fit overhead in a smaller commuter jet (overhead or underseat). It fit perfectly on a commuter jet and yet still held a change of clothes and medications for two adults and two kids. The pockets are thoughtful and if it proves to be durable (TBD - its only been on one trip) it will have been worth the money. Oh, for purposes for this review, "style" = thoughtful design, not keen fashion sense.

nice commuter size that is very well constructed. I love this brand, but for me a bag this size bag will either be used for business travel or adventure. My primary need is business -- I opted for the Victorinox Avolve 2.0 - 20" Expandable Wheeled Carry-on.

Would be a great bag if there was a way to attach some backpack straps. Other than that which I personally consider a serious design flaw. The bag is very well though out well tons of cool pockets.
