Much too narrow for size 11 width 4E. I have other New Balance shoes in width 4E that fit just fine, but the MW411 shoe is about half an inch too narrow. My feet were hanging off the sole edges. Also the back of the shoe is low making it feel unsecured when walking. Overall, the MW411 felt very lightweight and unsubstantial. I doubt that it would have lasted very long under my weight of 210 lbs. This is a cheap shoe for smaller people with narrow foot widths; not really up to New Balance standards. I compared the MW411 with the New Balance MX626, and the MX626 was far better for my feet.

These are the worst pair of shoes I have ever purchased. I have semi flat feet and after wearing these shoes with the arch support in them for two weeks, I could not take it any more. Even after removing the arch support I could not tolerate wearing them. You get what you pay for, these shoes were cheap and my feet paid the price for my bad choice in purchasing them. Do not purchase these if you have semi flat feet.

I initially liked these shoes, though the width was a bit narrow and the toe box was a bit tight. The problem came after wearing them for a few days and I started feeling pain in the side of my knee. I have had a knee replacement and am very sensitive to any pains that might indicate the replacement is starting to fail. I was getting very concerned until I switched back to my old shoes and the pain completely disappeared. There is no doubt that the pain was caused by these shoes - I do not know why but these are the first shoes in nearly eight years since I have had the knee replacement that caused this. Unfortunately I have worn them so they cannot be returned, someone at Goodwill is getting a new pair of shoes. I am going back to my New Balance 927s. They are more expensive, but apparently worth it.
