I am planning to return the jungle mocs because the right shoe is too big--the left shoe is fine! My first pair of jungle mocs is nearly worn out so I was really looking forward to the new pair.

My boys wear these for school uniforms. They take a lot of abuse, and I've even put them in the washer (not dryer) in acts of desperation. My only issue is that they don't come in wide and therefore don't accommodate one of my children without sizing up significantly.

I got these for my son so he wouldn't have to deal with laces/ bungee cords. He says they're ok, but he still prefers his Keens with the bungee cord. I believe Merrells run more narrow than Keens and my son's feet are a bit wider. I guess we're sticking with Keens. We both love our Keens!

These are awesome. I get them for my son every year, even though his foot is narrow and his heel slips a bit in back. Zappos sells them for the standard rate, plus the free shipping; you can't go wrong.

My son loves these shoes, but I have to agree with the last reviewer. Merrell seems to have shifted their sizing. My son wears a 12.5-13 in all other shoes, and we got these in a 13.5 and they are still too snug. I would recommend ordering a full size larger than usual. Aside from that, great shoe - looks great with jeans or khakis and is very comfortable and easy for kids to take on and off by themselves.

I'm a size 6 womens, and tried a 4.5 big boys. The size conversion wasn't good. I should have ordered a 5.5 big boys. The color isn't as shown in the photo which made it look like brown. It is gray. I would have kept the shoes despite the color, if they had fit better.

I really liked these shoes. I listened to the woman who said she wore a women's 8 and ordered aYouth 6 and they were a perfect fit. I wear a women's 7.5 and I ordered a Youth 6.5 so I could wear thick socks with them. I can't even wear them without socks. It's likely an issue of quality control. I am grateful Zappos will let me send them back without a return shipping charge.

Our family loves Jungle Mocs. We have purchased many pairs and will continue to do so. The India ink color stains feet and socks badly if they get at all wet, so we won’t be ordering that color again. We usually try to order the waterproof model, I think we ordered these because we wanted some color variety. I think all models used to be at least water resistant, and now they seem less so, but I could be misremembering. In any case, unless you want them for indoor only or a desert climate, waterproof is the way to go, even without the color bleeding problem.

I have 2 other pairs of these shoes. There is no way this shoe is a wide. It also felt too long.

We've gone through probably 6 or 7 pairs of Jungle Mocs for my 5 year old. They were the only shoes we got him for years. This pair, however, got oddly stretched out and started flying off his feet in only a few months. Not sure if the issue is him or the shoes, but I'm disappointed I had to replace them again so quickly.

Child has a wide foot- ordered wide and it slipped in back. Re-ordered in medium and it still slipped in back. Size is correct (2 1/2)- toe where it should be. Going with something else.

I brought these not realizing they were kids size, and even thou they look Just like the adult ones, they obviously don’t fit like the adult version. So unfortunately have to return, but Zappos is the best place to purchase any shoes cause they make the return process so easy!!

I have ordered this style shoe for my son's wide feet for the past 4 years. He's 4.5 years old and wears a 2W. This size category was WAY wider than the last category. I'll need to return for medium width.

So I do like the sneaker. The style the comfort is excellent. The sole looks durable. The only issue I have is that it's suede. Which I should have bought the plain leather instead. The first day my son went to school and came back the shoe came back dirty and looking worn. My son is 5. I know he's an active child so shoes get messy but my son didn't go to gym or recess with these shoes. So I'm not sure how one day it looked faded. So ever since I've had to wipe these shoes down to keep them looking nice. Only pet peeve. Next time I will just get plain leather. Wish they were waterproof.

I have purchased two pairs of Kids Merrell Chameleon 4 Ventilator Z- rap style shoes and they last. I recently ordered the Merrell Jungle Moc in the same size as our Z-rap shoe (5.5M) and found that they are not as generous in their fit, more narrow and shorter by comparison to the Z-rap. Returning and ordered a 6M. Hopefully the size adjustment will work.
