Excellent boot from Ecco. As always excellent customer service from Zappos.

This is my second pair of Ecco Turn GTX boots. The others are about five years old, black, with squared toes. These are the best boots that I have ever owned. They are incredibly light, comfortable, waterproof and durable. I have worn them on dressy occasions and I have used them on a treadmill when I forgot my running shoes. What can I say? Ecco has footwear figured out. (Note: I find that they run large. I am normally a 9½, but the size 42 works better for me than the 43.)

Bought these for my son who is 14. Excellent investment. He lived them so much he asked for a second pair in a different colour.

To me this is the perfect shoe. I own 5 pairs. Two brown, one black, one green(?) and suede. I simply love them. I have worn out the suede ones and only wear them to work in the yard. If I find out Ecco is going to quit making these shoes, I will buy 1/2 dozen on the spot. I am in my late 60's and as far as I am concerned these are the only shoes I will wear the rest of my life. I am on my feet all day and if I make a mistake and wear another brand of shoe I can hardly walk at the end of the day. I have no such problem with my Ecco's. The best shoe made hands down.

Purchased for a 10 day trip to London. I already own a similar pair by Clarks, but I was worried about the ruining the Clarks in the rain. These are made with Gore-Tex. Leather is very fine quality. Comfort is beyond any shoe I have ever worn. easily dresses up or down.

Very pleased with these boots. I highly recommend them. The only thing that I would change would be the laces. Since the boots are Gortex, I would have preferred wax coated laces, but overall, an EXCELLENT boot.

I love these boots. I am a female and wanted waterproof tie boots. I typically wear a size 8 wide and ordered a 39. They did stretch to accommodate my wide feet (I typically would not have done that but my husband owns them too and swore they give some). I have walked miles in these at a time and walked through water and slush. They are waterproof and seem to be holding up well. I would definitely recommend them.

I came across these while trying on shoes at every shoe seller in the mall. In that search I was looking for a more polished look, for which these don't work. But I was taken by the comfort. I got the Allen Edmonds Dundee 2.0 but I had been smitten by these and ordered them too. If you want a comfortable, high quality, casual black boot to wear with jeans, these boots nail it. I love the soft black matte. And they are ridiculously comfortable and supportive. Great boots.

My boyfriend loves these shoes I got for him on a whim, and they look great. He tends to wear tennis shoes a lot, and I was happy to find something that looks nicer that he finds comfortable.

I really love these boots. They are super comfortable and look great to wear to work each day. They also seem to be pretty weather proof and warm as I have been wearing them out and about in cold, wet, and snowy conditions. I normally wear a size 11½ or 12 but had to size up to the 46 after trying the 45 which was just too snug all around.

The shoes are very comfortable and good looking. The shoes arrived at my home the day after I ordered them. That was great service!

Comfortable out of the box. Bought a size 45 which is about a 11.5 and is typically what I wear with European shoes. I survived a pretty wet walk in Boston with them without getting my feet wet.

I rarely write reviews....but these shoes and the service from Zappos are both second to none. This is my second pair of these specific Ecco's; the first pair had what appears to be a manufacturing defect and started to separate at the sole after about 6 weeks of everyday wear. Naturally, at the Ecco price point that is not acceptable; contacted our friends at Zappos and another pair was shipped immediately. I cannot say enough high praise for the folks at Zappos other than I am a customer for life; I will always buy my shoes from Zappos......no one has customer service like these folks.

This is a great boot! Extremely comfortable but they do run small. I ordered 1/2 size larger but should have gotten a whole size larger. Could have been ok with then socks but I wear merino wool which are fairly thick. Will definitely buy a second pair.

These are great boots. The fit was perfect and they are very comfortable. I tried several other boots from other brands but these were definitely superior.

Love these boots so far. They're light on your feet and still feel very solid underneath. I ordered the size smaller than I'd usually order, based on recommendations, and that turned out to be the right move. I could still put a pretty thick sock on my feet and wear these comfortably. Pros: light, basic but classic style, good arch support, comfortable for city walking, didn't need a long break-in period out of the box Cons: I'm nitpicking, but the laces are basically just brown athletic shoelaces - not unattractive, but they could be better. Otherwise, I'm satisfied.

This is an extremely comfortable boot. I walk around New York city and even on the tough sidewalks this boot is still comfortable. It's not as shiny as the picture shows which I prefer. It looks stylish but not overly so.

I wanted a lighter weight fall/early winter boot. These boots really are comfortable right out of the box, not stiff leather. This is my first pair of Ecco shoes/boots must say I.m impressed. When the time comes I will buy another pair of Ecco.

I just moved from Berkeley, California to Newport, Rhode Island and realized that I needed tough waterproof boots. Zappos came through with this terrific Ecco model in one day! Go Zappos! They are excellent, fit perfectly and need no break-in and sheds water better than a duck.

First time using Zappos to buy shoes, I was toed by others it would be a good fit for me and it is as well as my new boots. I thought that was quite a feat. The shoes fit so well and are as comfortable and to my liking for looks. The delivery was as promised. I like the soul of this company and hope they appreciate my sense of humor in this review. Great service and great shoes to boot. Ha. Great new find for me.

Great shoes, exactly what I expected. True to size for Ecco...if you have other Ecco shoes, order the same size. But they run small against US sizes. If the conversion chart says 44...order a 45.

Looking for a comfortable boot for an upcoming trip. First day I wore these was a ten hour day in the city. Not a huge amount of walking - about 3 miles -- but ten hours of brand new shoes. Felt like old friends! They are going to Europe with me.

I ordered the Ecco Turn GTX boot to wear on a trip to Europe. My wife thought I might need the Gore Tex if we had some rainy weather. I have worn them for about two week to be sure of the comfort before we go. They are very comfortable. Haven't tested them in the rain yet. Like them and the fit is good. I ordered my usual size.

I own several pairs of Ecco boots and I like them all. I already have a black pair of these boots. I just ordered the Coffee because I like the color. These boots are great and very comfortable. I happen to have unusually wide feet. These boots make them happy. Zappos service is as usual, head and shoulders above other online stores.

These boots are not as sharp as a Frye boot, but they look good and you can get a normal, or wide, sized foot into them (and they are way more comfortable). My other pair of Ecco's are boat shoes I've had for 10 years now and are still holding up great, so you know the quality is top notch. The only style drawback is the sealed seams (waterproof). The only function drawback is the slightly slippery outsole (ice or water). The only comfort drawback is the thin insole (but still the most comfortable thin insole you will find, and you don't always want a beefy insole). They are also very light, for a boot (no foot or leg fatigue), a big plus!
