Good shoes

Light and comfortable to walk in.

They are comfortable according too my son. But after 3 months off wearing in catholic school. Spandex on side is practically gone shoe have turned into real slippers

I buy these shoes every year for my son to wear with his school uniform. He loves them because they're comfortable and are slip on! HOWEVER I go through at least 2 pairs a school year. Because like the other reviews say the sole separates. This last pair I bought in September lasted me up until 2 weeks ago. The toe box area gummy started to separate causing water to seep in and I didn't catch it in time and started to smell. I wish they would last longer as my son loves them and doesn't like any other school uniform shoe.

As another reviewer noted, the photo looks like smooth leather which is what I have had in the past and was expecting based on past experience and the photo but the leather is bumpy/textured not smooth. Will do but disappointed.

I've worn jungle mocs for many years. Was disappointed in the textured leather. Thought from the photo it was smooth as in the past.

Bought these for myself, even though I'm an adult woman, because I have small feet and no one sells smaller-size shoes any more. When they arrived, the left shoe appeared so wrinkled that it looked as if it had been worn before, in stark contrast to the right shoe, which looked new. I don't think the left shoe had actually been worn because the sole didn't look like it, but perhaps it had been returned? It was pretty disappointing to receive a shoe that looked as if someone had worn it for months. I know these are made in China, as are virtually all shoes designed by US manufacturers, so that may be part of the problem. Disappointing. But I'm not returning them, and I am wearing them. Not sure about future purchases, though.

I bought these for my twin 4 year olds daughters. Figured these would be good for their summer camp field trips and everyday use. Haven't had them more than 4 months and both sets of shoes, the toe area has completely worn. They are different sizes so it isn't one kids putting a hole in the same area. It is one thing to have to buy new shoes because they out grew them, this was the first pair I had bought where they shoes were falling apart before their feet grew.

I bought a pair of these several weeks ago. They arrived with the right shoe looking like a new shoe and the left shoe looking completely wrinkly as if it had been worn for at least a year. They are also too large, although I've bought another pair in the past. My conclusion? No quality control any more. I am certain these are made in China, as are most shoes sold in the U.S., and - as has been my experience with clothing made in China, the sizes are not consistent. I'm done with Merrell. Used to buy Merrell shoes but now I don't feel as if I can rely on the company to make quality products. Too bad.
