I order a pair every year for my boys school shoes. They last the whole year! As they grow up, I learn teens don’t like the tie they shoes. So these are still what they wear to school and church. This is the first pair we’ve ordered that wasn’t Suede, the leather seems more water proof and easier to keep clean.

This brand fits my small foot. I do have to wear a thick sock so my foot does not slide up and down in the shoe. It is very comfortable to wear to work when standing on my feet all day as a teacher. Any teacher should have a pair of these shoes!

These shoes have been a lifesaver for my son's wide feet. His feet are also wide and thick from top to bottom...the ankle was a bit tight at first, but i put a tennis ball in the shoe for a couple of days to stretch that area out. Finally a comfortable school shoe for him. We have bought 3 pairs so far as his feet have grown. Must have for boys with wide feet who must wear a uniform to school!

My son loves these! I didn't have to buy him new dress shoes. We went for these and they are versatile! They look great with jeans and suits (he is age 12). He wears orthotics with them and they support him really well.

Extremely fast shipping, unfortunately wrong size. We ordered size 3 little kid, the box was labeled correctly, but the shoes inside were tagged US 3.5 . We will keep the shoes, as our son's foot will definitely grow, but it did not solve our immediate need. I had to buy another pair elsewhere. I guess the box was incorrectly labeled in the factory, as the contents looked intact. I believe that this is not Zappos fault, as I don't think they open and inspect every box and every pair of shoes that hits their warehouse, so I'm giving them full score for their speed and overall service. The shoes look like they will live up to our expectations, once my son grows into them.

We buy a couple pairs of this model each year as everyday school uniform shoes. The nubuc wears better than the smooth leather. We tried this smooth one once, and then went back to the nubuc. My son loves them. Zappos customer service is absolutely the best!

We've worn Merrell slip ons for years my wife, son & I & as of the past few years they've had problems. Starting June I bought more for my son, by August they broke down. I bought 2 more, they had issues, I exchanged them, those had issues, I returned those & bought 2 more pairs those had issues I returned them. Sooo disheartening. I have no idea what to get for my son to wear now. Those were great shoes that lasted.My shoes broke down, the left shoe squeaked from inside the shoe. A pair of my sons mocs did the same thing. :( Before all this I would have recommended them & I did recommend them but now... I'm not sure why they aren't made the same & have quality issues but I hope they go back to how they used to be.

These are perfect shoes to slip on for winter. We buy every year for our kids! They wear them until they are worn out and then get a new pair. If you put the waterproof spray on them they are even more durable.

I went half a size larger for thicker socks during the cold weather and for room to grow throughout the school year. Such sleek classic uniform shoes. The leather seems durable for my first grader. Does not have a gaudy shine. Sturdy soles with seemingly comfortable inner arch support. Dressy yet casual for his uniform yet seems ready for the playground at recess.
