The style is perfect (5 star +), but the sandals are just so uncomfortable. I bought these Reef sandals in brown and a cheap pair of black Old Navy flip flops for a Caribbean vacation. I wore the Reef sandals in the airport and then never again. I have normal width feet (never bought a wide in any shoe), but these sandals are really narrow—more like women’s sandals. The straps ripped my feet to shreds; my feet were bloody from a 1-connection trip. Bottom line—the Reef sandals are overpriced by about $40-$50; they’re really $20-$30 sandals.

The arch support / bottle opener is too hard and subsequently uncomfortable.

They are okay. Nothing to write home about. Expensive considering.

These are pretty nice flip flops. The upsides are that the sole feels really very comfortable on the bottoms of my feet. The downsides are that the soles have a little too much flex in them, and the straps aren't really angled correctly, so when I walk these really do create the "flip flop" motion, snapping up to my heel with each step. I'd say these are good flip flops for situations with a little walking and a lot of lounging.

I used the product maybe 150 days out of the past year. Walking to school and back. Wearing it around the house, etc. I bought this pair because I heard good things from Reef and felt that full-grain leather would last longer than other sandals I have used. While this still holds true, barely lasting 150 days of wear isn't much to tout about. I was expecting at least several years of use. Basically the thin leather used for the insole tore on both feet within weeks of each other. It may use full-grain leather, but it's a very thin layer of it. If they used leather 3 times as thick, I would be willing to pay more. As of now I'm looking to hopefully get these replaced under warranty.

A frequent user living in FLA. They replaced a pair of Keen scandals that are no longer made - what a shame!

I wanted a size 13, but got a size 9 instead. Besides the size, I would have liked it in black. What do I need to do to exchange it? Thank you, Tish Robert

Had these flip flops for 2 months and loved them until the strap broke while walking on the beach with friends.

These sandals would be great; however the strap on mine is extremely loose, which makes the base of the sandal move way more than wanted (constantly have to adjust the sandal)

This runs a full size smaller than the Reef Fanning sandals. Looks nice, but for the price Rainbow brand sandals are much higher quality.

About one size smaller than normal. It's also very narrow, especially compared to other Reefs; I have a narrow foot too

I purchased these without realizing they had a beer opener in the sole under the arch. I suppose this would be a useful feature if I was a drunken frat boy at Arizona State, but I'm not. The beer opener makes them feel like something has stuck to the bottom under the instep and they are quite uncomfortable to walk in.

Full marks for style, but my biggest pet peeve with leather flips applies to these too. The sole gets really slippery after a while, to the point that I can't walk confidently on them (and I wear sandals all the time). I had intended these to be my "dressier" flip flops, but if I go out in these I know I'm going to be spending a good deal of time walking barefoot, throwing them on only when needed...in fact these have become my go-to "hotfoot shoes" that I sometimes grab on my way out the door on those " board shorts and bare feet" days, depending how long I plan to be out. Since they spend so little time on my feet they should last almost forever as Reefs are great sandals. As they get older I'm finding they are getting less slippery as the leather gets scuffed up.

Wanted these as a "dressier" flip flop. Really stylish and comfy, but like many leather flips, they get very slippery after a while. Mine got so bad I couldn't walk in them confidently (and I wear sandals all the time). For a long time these were my designated "hotfoot sandals" that I would grab on the way out on those "board shorts and bare feet " days if I was going to be out and about for a while and wanted something I could throw on my feet if needed. Now that they are scuffed up a bit my feet don't slide around as much. They seem to last forever, as if true for all Reefs.

I loved these sandals and wear them all the time but, i have had them for only 6 months and they are very worn out. The sole is pealing off in the front, and worn down in the back. The Toe strap is about to break and the side straps are pulling out on both sandals. They look great, feel great but do not last.

I bought these and immediately wore them out for a walk. The sandals are so stiff and heavy that I had blisters within 20 minutes. Their stitching also rubs on the outside of feet, which is a huge design fail. Would not recommend.

These sandals look just as great in person as they do online. However, they are very stiff and not very comfortable to wear. Also, while trying them on inside, one tiny drop fell on one from the sink and immediately stained it. Which is not what I want from something I plan to wear at the beach.

Like everything about these sandals, except that the strap is too loose, which is a pretty big deal. Makes them a giant PITA to wear.
